of these homeless people need help and we need to make sure help is there including mental health, drug rehabilitation but let's remember we also have to create a situation in which it's easier to not be homeless than to be homeless. right now we are making it increasingly easy to be homeless support and subsidies and frankly, turning a blind eye criminal activity at least in san diego i can tell you in the area in and around san diego we see ignoring crimes, people are on the streets, there's technically saying they are homeless but they are breaking the law and they are on probation and not going to go back to jail if they ever did. at some time have to say you do enough crimes and there ought to be a punishment but in california, systematically there is no punishment, including theft. as long as it's under $1000 at a time as many times as you can go

in-and-out of a store in a day, it limits theft of louis vuitton but not much else. kennedy: you have to shop consignment if you want the good stuff under $1000. obviously there is a law enforcement component to this and it's like i don't want to see people arrested but i also don't want to seek people thrown away like human pieces of garbage, wallowing in their own excrement. that's not how society should function. it's so pervasive, it's all over the state, everywhere. a couple of months ago i took a helicopter ride with l.a. county sheriff's department and i was shocked at different encampments and fake terror some of them down and pop back up in one of the big problems they face is not enough communication and that's statewide, not enough communication within departments so somebody needs to health, if someone needs a place to say or

a meal, it's three separate entities who aren't talking to each other necessarily. >> there's no question at all, we do a better job providing the alternatives to living on the street but let's go back to a time when new york city was assessable and rudy giuliani. kennedy: yesterday? >> but it was the last time it was assessable. he used straightforward systems, he said a social worker and a cop and gave people a choice. go with the social worker or crop. he made people make a decision wrongfully on welfare but had to show up and rake leaves at the parks once a week and when they didn't show up, they lost their welfare. as a result, he cleaned up the welfare rolls and cleaned up the city. this is not rocket science but you have to begin incrementing the laws or being compassionate. nobody could be more of a moderate came to helping homelessness and rudy giuliani because he cleaned up the city and they were able to deal with the people with real problems.

he's had multiple people on his show with different viewpoints. he has said he gave examples of things once considered misinformation that are now considered fact and i think it's his much more balanced approach than the corporate media which is why he has had higher ratings than every other media platform combined. that isn't by accident, not just because he's viewing conspiracy theories, i think is more balanced or providing more balanced opinions which would make sense because joe rogan is a centrist than the corporate media and that's why he's having the success he is and neil young has played all of you. kennedy: all right, if you love bacon as much as i do, you're toast. according to experts, is the worst to eat but if you already knew that and decided to go to an alternative meat like turkey bacon, that's just as bad. just like regular bacon, it's still processed meat and a no no. all right, other foods in the
