minister. today biden held a phone call a secure president. that coalescing 40 minutes ukrainian president ask for more defensive military equipment and stricter sanctions president biden yesterday talked to him and a month to see how sanctions are going. while today the white house press secretary defending those sanctions. >> the steps are taken yesterday and announced yesterday of sanctioning the ten largest institutions and a russia accounting for a huge percentage of their banking capacity. given the anticipation of that has had an enormous impact on russia and whether does the currency, the ruble that is found the markets that are sky writing and ablation for. >> the president held a call with a 30 member nato countries. out of that the secretary-general said this is the first time in history nato will mobilize its response force. it includes troops designated to nato paired cracks nato allies

jackie: the crisis overseas triggering an energy crisis here at home. right now america is on u.s. oil from other countries is being called into question. some members of congress urging the president to restart the construction of the keystone xl pipeline. turning now to discuss all this, quil robinson. good evening and always good to see. let's start with the day one of the biden administration. what does he come in and do? he shuts down the keystone pipeline he bans drilling on federal land and essentially says biggest agenda item, is alternative energy and climate change. and there were the dynamics set us up for the current moment

jackie: new fox news polling a growing number of americans are feeling the effects of inflation on everything from gas prices to groceries, has more force. >> and jackie come inflation is the number one issue concerning americans today. and now with the invasion of ukraine, things could get worse. brandon fox pulling out shows 76% of voters stay tuned the economy is only fair or poor and 50% say they have less money in their pockets compared to last year. the top hardship, grocery prices utility and gas prices. and now with the crisis in ukraine it is highly likely those prices will get worse. while the white house is called on americans to accept paying more is their duty the people i spoke to are not sure how they will manage that. >> we're going to have to suffer a little bout the spike in inflation. there is no choice be good to think it's terrifying.

72% from gas prices. 70% on their utilities. 57% other housing costs. i mean, to add the ukraine situation to this it just seems unbearable for some people. >> absolutely. this started with president biden's initial policies paid when he decided to stop energy exploration and production in many parts of the country when he decided to's stop the federal land but when he decided to implement $1.9 trillion quote unquote stimulator package that actually made matters worse because it just incentivizes people from returning to work and produce the things we desperately need. it put a lot of pressure. so the energy costs we've already seen skyrocket their's home heating costs, gas at the pump. it is all gone up. on top of that you are seeing now the ramification of a bad energy policy that is been put

the seven u.s. officials on heightened alert about potential cyber attacks on russia. david takes a look at could it mean for americans. >> and jackie, there are legitimate concerns this evening about the cyber health of the united states. think of banks, think the power grid, think hospitals. this is not to panic anyone but let people know that the top

levels of government are working to make sure we do not come under any type of the cyber attack about the justice department right now d.o.j. and the fbi are working to protect our cyber systems. there are concerns about what a cyber attack were due to the power grid if the u.s. grid is penetrated by a russian cyber attack and went off-line intelligent estimates show could take one or two weeks to get it back online. this is coming from a homeland security source. i spoke with the cyber expert in washington who is tracking any russian attempts. >> i am not directly seeing anything in the united states that is related to the russia ukraine conflicts released from a major perspective. but it is still early days per. >> nbc news reported yesterday the president was presented with a quote menu up options for how to launch a cyber attack on russia disrupting several things to make it more difficult for russia to continue invading ukraine. press secretary jen psaki pushed back on the reports.

know very well that russia has the capability. they approved it already from this country over the decade. destroying our infrastructure power, water, everything we've been talking about. we also have the same thing and russia. we can tip over trains, we can stop a water float we can slow down the back slope of funds or stop it completely. i think it's a real drastic moves we are not going to see anytime soon we hope. i think what you might see now that we are synced putin as a bit of a loose cannon is the idea that he might use these sanctions as his ammunition to say i have got justification will pounce on the u.s. with any number of cyber attacks. >> that's what i am more direct and that's what everybody's worried about.

>> may help you rest easy with this one thing. if we use a weapon against russia or if russia uses any of their weapons against us, there is a cost to it not like other weaponry. when you use a cyber weapon let's say we shut off their water. let's had they shut off part of our power grid. once that happens we got their game we can stop them from doing more than that. once we do that to russia they also know how we shut off their water and they will prevent us from doing that again also. so when you launch your weapons are not good after that. jackie: when they excite protect the colonial pipeline i don't think enough is made out of that and i don't really think there's enough of a response there. are you telling me that intelligent were able to use that as sort of intelligence they could used to prevent something like that happening again? >> let me just tell you that is not remotely what they are

capable of doing. that is minor pride but our reaction was not measured to the same event. remember we freaked out we went to the gas stations gas prices went up. we consider that all of our fuel that was not realistic but that's the same sort of chaos that could ensue at that shut down two, three, four of our banks for a number of hours and people can get to the atm machine. americans are not ready for that. people will freak. now even another store this monday, if every 20 shutting down a seattle washington expediters the sixth largest shipping corridor they handle freight those big containers getting them around too 300 different locations around the world. they had been shut down since then from a cyber attack. they apparently aren't sure who did it. first russians are expected. but start looking for this kind of hits in our infrastructure paid because right there is supply. we are going to see more and

there are a lot of folks in the homelessness, the crime everything were seeing in cities like los angeles and new york are detracting from quality of life for everybody else who is trying to do the right way. >> yes, definitely think democrat voters do not want more homelessness or crime but these are radical liberals who propose these kinds of bills keep getting elected because much of the democrat voting base do not understand the consequences of far left liberalism. especially if they're kind of insulated from the impact of crime per if the limit doorman protected buildings or gated communities. so they keep voting for these until he gets so bad they do start to notice and then they pack up and they move to red states like texas and they just continue the same thing. but i have to say it is the vulnerable people it's the low income working class people who cannot afford to move her really do get hurt most by the soft on crime policies. that is what is so tragic about these policies. jackie: this but the full scale hears the cities with the most

homelessness across america. got seven cities on here the first is new york city, almost 78000 people, right? it is got them mostly to go down the list and ucla, san jose, oakland, barkley, san francisco, san diego, santa ana. a lot of california cities there. these are all blue states that we are dealing with. there is a reason you're not seeing this in florida and texas. >> right. it is the soft on crime policies in the same places with the homelessness. your sink rising crime rates that it is getting out of control. criminals know it's open season and a lot of these cities. so a new story before he went on air about a lady he was walking down the steps in a new york city subway station and sheet was pushed down the stairs by a robber after he repeatedly hit her over the head with a hammer. i mean these kinds of stories are becoming so common now. and in many cases the offender is someone who has been let out of jail if multiple offenses on
