replacing his entire economic team i don't know how he can get back in touch with reality. wholesale inflation is up 10% the last two months. it who-year record. it will hit retail prices. gas is up, affects transportation and cost of everything. labor is up which affects the cost of everything. we'll have tremendous, tremendous inflation going forward and this president can't do anything to stop it. elizabeth: why do you say that? why do you say that, why do you say that going forward? >> well you've got, look if wholesale inflation is up, energy prices are up, and labor is up, that is what drives inflation. those are costs that businesses have to absorb. when you put that into the mix you can't get away from inflation. everything, everything costs more to make things costs more. elizabeth: okay. >> it's ridiculous. really, he just needs to enact policies that encourage businesses to produce so we can have our supply chains corrected and stop handing out the government largess that create this is incredible demand. it is not that tough.

elizabeth: congressman, to andy's point is that the way out, what he just stipulated, is that the way out what we're facing? >> i will tell you right now the way out of what we're facing is to stop what this administration is doing. the budget they dropped on monday only makes every crises that the americans are facing that much worse. they projected in this budget that inflation is going to be 2%, starting today for every month for the next 10 years when inflation right now is at a 40-year high. we all know that we're probably going to hit double digits in just a few months but this white house, they can't seem to understand reality. they started saying how inflation was transitory. it was temporary. it was because of covid. it was supply chain crisis. they don't know what is going on. elizabeth: you know the energy and food prices alone, account for more than 1/5 of the household costs. energy surged 20, 40, 50% over

their interests when they obviously do not. elizabeth: we hear you loud and clear. mem reports after member of a nashville school board caught on a hot mic, they were joking if they could attack senator bourne bourne -- marsha blackburn and set the senator on fire. that story is out there. your quick reaction on that? >> it is interesting parents are domestic terrorists and officials are advocating violence. school board members should model behavior for the rest of the community. this is disappointing but not out of character of national school boards. elizabeth: governor desantis is really going after disney of the they say they only oppose florida's new parental rights law after the woke mob came after disney. governor deis tis talking about hypocrisy here. >> especially tucker, you have to wonder why the hill toe die on to have trans genderrism

injected into kindergarten classrooms or woke gender ideology injected into second grade classroom, why is that the hill to die on? meanwhile if we had done a bill that prohibited talking about the abuse of uyghurs in china, disney would have supported that legislation because they don't want to say a word about that. this fill is about providing protections so they know they can send their young kids to school without them being sexualized. without a school telling a young girl for example, she may be a boy. for a company like disney saying the bill should have never passed, first of all tucker, they didn't say anything when this went through the house. they only started this because the mon, the woke mob came after them. elizabeth: the governor in the first clip how disney makes films in china. so the other side of this parental rights law says, you know, you're introducing more lawsuits into the fight and you have to protect gay teenagers and have those conversations. what do you think of that side

of the argument? >> i mean i think that lawsuits and courts are a great way to rein in some of the abuses we have seen from public schools that really injected themselves into discussions that best held between families. i have a 7-year-old, 8-year-old they would fall within the florida bill. i do not want anyone talking to my children about sex, period. the fact this is, as governor desantis said the hill these people want to die on is a little bit surprising. i know people at the heritage foundation are running numbers on this, but the threats to gay children are i think grossly overstated and the fact that lawsuits, you know the threat of that is starting to rein in some of the teachers who have said, i mean we have tiktok, teaches say they will do this any way, what other recourse do families have to turn to the courts? school boards refuse to rein in teach years florida law prohibits instruction and sexual

identity for kind kinds through third grade, that is 8-year-olds. the president said it was a hateful bill. the word doesn't ban gay if school settings. it doesn't ban topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity. since when do we let teachers discuss their personal life with children, their political opinions? they're hired to discuss the subject they are paid to teach. that's it. any adult straight or gay who wants to speak to the most innocent among us about their personal and private lives they're a menace to public welfare. there is nothing normal about a unsupervised adult teacher expounding about their private life to a five-year-old. it is an invasion of that child's innocence and privacy. what do they need? do they really need a five-year-old's acceptance? no adult in their right mind introduces mature themes to five-year-olds. how do they not think this is off the wall? >> right. absolutely. these children don't know how babies are made. yet we introduce, instruct

students, do lesson plans on some of these topics. talk to them about pronounce and things where they don't know basic grammar. they can't read and write. this is not age appropriate. this is not a crazy bill. polling shows support of majority of american people support it once they know what is in it. i applaud governor desantis. elizabeth: democrats in florida support it too. thanks for coming back on. hunter biden scandal heating up. accountable for this. my question now is, what did joe biden know and when did he know it? elizabeth: and what did he get paid? >> and what did he get paid? did show that on his taxes, if he didn't, he will be in trouble. we know hunter biden is in trouble for tax evasion. we know he has been in trouble for tax evasion before. if these receipts, if he didn't show that, or worse, paid in cash, hunter biden will spend a lot of time in jail. elizabeth: because they were using off-balance sheet shell companies overseas to bury cash flows from these. you and i have been through this. there is five million from cefc, big player in china's belt and road push. potentially 10 million from a chinese oil tycoon that hunter biden lobbied want to establish sincot hold national 2017 a lot of money sloshing around. hunter and joe biden were deeply in debt a decade ago before he came back in as vice president, through those years as well. hunter biden was deeply indebt

deductions and taxes, what do you say to that? >> she is doing what we call a one-two punch. she subpoenaed trump and his kid in a civil investigation. they can invoke the fifth amendment, in order to keep it from being used against them in a criminal probe but if they do that it is an inference that can be held against them in her civil suit. this is something prosecutors do a lot. it is unfortunate that it is happening but it is. it is also very unfortunate that she ran on the platform of investigating trump. i mean she is a lawyer and attorney general. she is doing the same thing that people accused trump of wanting his justice department to do, which is doing a political prosecution. that doesn't speak to whether or not she has got a good case or not. she may have have a good case but it is somewhat unseemly. elizabeth: trump has more trouble. he is getting blowback to ask putin to release dirt about biden's family. that phone call with ukraine

leaders got him impeached. they submitted house records investigating the capital riot, seven hour gap from his phone logs. he has hurdles if he wants to run in 2024. >> those hurdles, haven't stopped him in the past. people who supported him have trump fatigue might not want to see the return of that his lawsuit he recently filed will be tossed out. it is a ridiculous, almost frivolous suit. elizabeth: why do you say that? talking about trump's lawsuit against hillary clinton and dnc, james comey and peter strzok and other fbi officials? >> yeah. to begin with it is sloppily done. he might as well-written it in crayons. they have a count three where they cite a federal statute, saying the defendants violated the criminal statute. it is not even the write

statute. it is a new york state court law of some kind but the real reason, even if true, much of the factual basis of the lawsuit is protected first amendment activity and it is not going to survive, it will not get to trial. it will not survive a motion to dismiss. there may even be sanctions. again, whether or not that hurts him or not is a different question but it will not be good news. elizabeth: his lawyers are alleging a total of 16 separate counts ranging from rico claims to state law tort claims. we have statute of limitations problems on these claims. they may have been expired. he may get tripped up by that alone. >> well they allege it is a continuing conspiracy. if they can show that it is a continuing conspiracy even going to the present day that, that is how you get around the statute of limitations issues but listen, they may have 16 counts but 16 times zero is still zero. you have got to have a credible
