elizabeth: joining us our former acting dhs secretary chad wolf. the white house today that will terminate trumps title 42. the pandemic border policy per dr. fauci says are still problem with a pandemic. of democrat senators mark kelly. senator warner, manchin, senatod gonzalez from texas and don't do it, keep the policy in place. so why get rid of it? >> that is a great question but it's a dangerous decision at the end of the day for a couple of reasons. one, we know today border patrol facilities are overcrowded. in so if you lift title 42 they're not going to be able to remove upwards to 50 or 60000 additional individuals every single month. you are going to again be crowding border patrol facilities. this one takes one or two cases of covid to spread in this facility is endangering the migrants and law enforcement.

the second reason really is because we know this will incentivize a further research is to that border. so well you see 170 -- 180,000 illegal apprehensions in a month you're likely going to see more because they remove this authority. and i think third, probably the most disappointing and dangerous is they knew this day was coming for the new title 42 was going to end. and they have done nothing to prepare for it. and they have done nothing to put policies in place to address some of the underlying issues that are still plaguing the border after more than 14 months. very disappointing all around. elizabeth: sets of the democrat senators were saying to you or lifting the policy but have no plans to help the border communities, the border neighborhoods dealing with the influx. i mean, they are americans too. so why abandon the border states in the communities down there who have to deal with this on autopilot policies from the white house with no regard for them? >> that it's open asking for the last 14 months but in some

respects title 42 is masked the true nature of the crisis along that border because they have been able to remove 70 or 80000 individuals a month pretty quickly back to mexico under this authority. they are no longer going to be able to do that. so the crisis that we have seen and we been talking about for this administration is really going to be on steroids as they lift this order for the not going to build to remove this many folks. you are going to see more and more of them release into the country released on city streets being flown around the country. going to see a lot more of the schedules and pictures going for a quick list of the pictures fox news bill reporting to wild footage for body cam, they had a fiery human smuggler pursuit near laredo, texas where they're trying to save a woman's life she was literally zipped up inside a duffel bag being smuggled inside a burning car. we also have this. the border patrol arrested a
