anthony fauci, where does he go when he makes this statement about him if trump gets back in and 2024 he will not serve under trump? where does he go? he goes to cnn and jim acosta to make this statement. it's hard to remember it's been so long but remember him during the trump campaign, eventually he was kicked out of the white house because he was such a political hack in here is fauci on his show saying working for a trump wasn't optimal. fauci was wrong on every subject, remember when donald trump first put the lock down and band travel from china. it was ten days after the first case in the united states, ten days later he band travel from china. what was fauci doing? saying don't do that.

conflicts of interest, they could have eclipsed the moon last night. talk about someone who not only knew about gain of function funding but also did a great deal working with the communist chinese government and various scientists to keep all of that quiet and protect his own self. >> that's exactly it. anthony fauci's fingerprints are all over the wuhan lab. i think he's afraid they're going to find out what happened. why has there never been an investigation on the origins of covid? it's because fauci doesn't want anybody to know his fingerprints are all over this. i think the american public can't the world deserve to know what exactly happened. how did covid get out of the lab? was a just a test? you know the chinese had some bad stuff inside the lab.

>> the administration enacted from day one after the recall, we are here because a company was not able to guarantee it's plant was safe and the plant has shut down. the government does not make baby formula nor should it. companies make formula and one of the companies, a company that seems to have the% market share messed up. kennedy: interesting. that company was cleared of any wrongdoing yet the fauci is still shut down. president biden friday said they should have acted sooner. >> would you take the steps sooner before parents got to the shelves and couldn't on formula? >> if we had been better mind readers i guess but we moved as quickly as the problem was apparent to us. kennedy: biden's press secretary went on offense to defend the efforts and claims the formula companies again. >> we been working on this since

we learned about this in february. it's important to remember the shortage exists because abbott close the facility, close the facility because of safety concerns from the fda. the fda is working closely to bring the facility back online safely. that is the key, safely. kennedy: they once again were cleared of wrongdoing. no one in the administration is on the same page according to biden's secretary, fda was one of a potential shortage last year. abbott is waiting for fda approval to get back to work making more baby formula for could take another two weeks, where is the urgency from anyone here? can't the administration get out of the way before babies start as families continue to suffer? joining me now, trade policy analyst, gabrielle, welcome to the show gabriella. >> thank you for having me. kennedy: i have a couple

questions, this fauci is shut down but could be reopened and seems like an arbitrary amount of time, painful amount of time for parents out there looking for baby food. how has the federal government stopped either importation or the manufacturer? how have they impeded that for some companies? >> i agree there is a sense of urgency and the federal government is not helping the situation, pete buttigieg claiming these companies are the reason there's a problem, a shortage but it's actually because of federal programs in american protectionism. the federal program, wic program that allows for these companies to win contracts, allowed for concentration in the market and less competition so when one of

the fauci's shows off-line, it's going to have a significant impact on the market and supply. because of protectionism opaque closures and non- there's result of fda regulation, we can't use imports to supplement this short supply. kennedy: and your research has shown abbott has contract 31 states so the monopoly comes from the federal program and state making deals with manufacturers, that doesn't seem to be a lot of concern there these major companies go off-line for any reason. i think parents would be surprised to hear yours 17% import tax tariff on imported baby food. it's all they want, couldn't they easily lift the tariff at least in the short term? >> there are poles by members of

congress to waive the baby formula imports and those should be commended. however, we should go further and liberalize trade overall, there shouldn't be tariff on baby formula at all. we should be supporting a free market and free trade so americans have as many options for baby formula as they want. he should be able to go to a store and by european baby formula which many american parents want to because it provides a different no space or they perceive it as being higher-quality or numerous reasons. we should support free trade in this market and with the trading partners, such as in the eu. kennedy: caliph would on nbc saying plenty of baby formula but there's not because if you try to go to the store and go to box stores and grocery stores

and there's no formula, that means for you, there is no formula and that some people panic. bureaucrats who don't have infants, it's easy for them to say fine, we have plenty. he pointed out yes, there is formula available on amazon but sometimes when you need it, he needed and there's no alternative. >> that is absolutely right, i believe from last week's statistic, levels reached 43%. even if there is baby formula sitting around in warehouses, americans can't get it. we need to figure out how americans can get the baby formula. kennedy: i don't know if you know this about me but i love truckers and they are going to help us out of this crisis. you are right, cut the tariffs free trade and let the market provide for families harmed by the government. thank you for your time. >> thank you.

pretty low, that plays into stagflation. growth is continuing so i think it's an interesting book he's written, he said it's an academic book and there are some economic signs but in terms of who can go after it, it seems like the fed has a lot of the action here. kennedy: they do but they've advocated that for so long. spike, many of us would like to if not and the fed and audit the fed but keeping rates low for so long, partaking in oxidative easing and allowing bubbles to proliferate in the markets and all of a sudden acknowledging it's not transitory raising rates very quickly, a lot in a short period of time, can it be disastrous? and is he right? >> it is disastrous, it's already happening. we arty have the inflation part

of stagflation and beginning to see the stag part. inflation part is pretty straightforward. in the last two years, the federal reserve increased monetary supply, the money circulating in the economy by 40%. they have almost half to the amount of money in the monetary supply and something like 20% of all dollars note created in american history were in the last two and a half years. that's what has led the inflation part but look at the stagnation part, that is that over the last two years especially through the book of 2020, the u.s. government and state government shutting down entire industries, telling entire industries they couldn't work for their safety of course, subsidizing an industry that wouldn't be able to keep record profit to keep stock prices high if they were out of business so they printed more -- who thought

playing red light green light with the entire economy as well as printing out in the stacks of cash would lead to a stagnating economy and record-breaking prices and for those keeping track, for those who want to blame it just on biden, biden has supported policies that have led to this even before it started but this largely happened under trump and republicans and democrats working together and still republicans working with democrats. it's a bipartisan thing, a d.c. problem . kennedy: libertarians have been paying this for some time, both parties have become so addicted to spending with little foresight, very little concern for the quinces and when the economy craters, when we hit a recession with inflation, you will wish it was the 70s because if this economic picture takes shape, it will have been rosier in the 70s. party panel sticking around, president biden's ultra a take

side, republicans for calling them everything under the sun to include pedophile so ultra mega, probably not but it is hard in the political battle when your opponent calls you the craziest most offensive awful things and it's like how you accurately respond? they are talking about policy but voters are attracted to the soundbite on twitter, it's a tough battle for democrats. they want to talk about policy ahead of the election, her publicans are talking about crazy slogans they are throwing. kennedy: i do know, you have social media as a shield for the left and the mainstream media so they are carrying water for you. the president's poll numbers are not bad because conservatives call him names on twitter, they are that because his policies are awful and they are more concerned about the politics and optics and how things look as

opposed to how things are and could get better. whatever you think they are doing, they are not doing enough and they are failing. >> yeah, that's pretty much everything i was going to say. i think -- first of all, we have an amazing we are in this brave new world where politicians say mean things about each other, it's unprecedented for joe biden and democrats to deal with but they have to make do because they are in charge of the entire country right now. i come from a marketing background before i got into politics and if i had to come up with a way to brand one of my competitors in a way that would be negative toward them, i wouldn't take their most cherished phrase and add ultra to it. for people in that in group who support that phrase, it's like putting turbo on it, turbo maga would have been just of effective. for those who don't like mega,

adding ultra to it will not make them, just like them even more and for those in the middle who don't care, adding ultra makes it sounds kind of cool and gives trump as you said, the perfect opportunity to dunk on them and say yes, we are ultra, we want ultra this and that. i'm not sure what the mindset was there but it's clearly working very well with them along with the rest of the policies. kennedy: not of it is working, they are not playing the long game because they know kamala harris is not electable as president in her own right otherwise she might be president and they are not playing the long game because joe biden will not run again in 2024. i don't care what he says, he can't -- this is only his second year in office and he can't make it through a speech without stumbling off the stage. i wish chevy chase were still

funny because what he did to gerald ford if he did that to joe biden now, i think we would all stand up and applaud. let's talk about -- british prime minister maurice johnson wants everyone to get back to work. in an interview he told the daily mail he thinks working from home is inefficient saying my experience from working home, he spend an awful lot of time making a cup of tea and then you know getting up, walking slowly, hacking off a small use of cheese and walk slowly back to laptop and forget what you are doing. is working from home effective or impossible? stephen. >> i don't want to work in an office that doesn't allow me to have cheese. see into the future. you have elon musk saying chinese workers burned the 3:00 a.m. oil. they are more motivated, american workers are looking for reasons not to work at all. is that the case with people who have chosen to work from home? do they just want to do less? >> i think they want more worklife balance and not chained to a deck in the chinese model of labor is not one we should embrace here in the united states. elon musk, he's going to put trump back on twitter but also praising china in horrific practices, something i think the right and left a great are terrible. i think worklife balance is good, it sounds like a boris johnson problem but elon musk, definitely not a stellar representative of the idea and i don't think he should hold the torch for that. kennedy: i don't agree people

should be sleeping on fauci floors in a sleeping bag and air mattress, that might not be the ideal but we have swung too far in the other direction and boris johnson's points, it's unsustainable because you have businesses, look around times square and midtown here in new york, so many restaurants are gone. bars closed for goods because people are not working in these buildings. they want to sit around in slippers and eat cheese. >> boris johnson finally found the thing that would unite workers of the world and that's fear of cheese i think. i think it is two separate things between what boris johnson is talking about and elon musk is talking about. work from home can be more productive for certain sectors and industries. there have been multiple studies that have shown productivity is actually higher from remote work in certain industries.

others that relied more on teambuilding or creativity, it's better to have an office setting but elon musk was talking along the lines, maybe more generally but what originally brought up the conversation, manufacturing in china. manufacturing is obviously something you have to do at a fauci, you can't manufacture from home, not a car, not yet anyway. is going to have to be a balance between cancer work movement along o'neill's and jen c and what is happening in china as well as japan, a well-documented a couple of generations now, extremely high suicide rate in high-rise and mental health as a result of not having any worklife balance, china is taking it to a different level. i think it will be interesting as china's middle class grows, that will probably be on the chopping block, those

conditions, there needs to be more of a balance. kennedy: but there are also in okinawa japan, worklife balance is critical. you have the longest living people on earth because they achieve that, it's not all over japan, they also have capsule hotels so if you miss a train back home, you could sleep essentially in a coffin with a bunch of other drunk people. >> happy medium between boris johnson and china. the people have all the cheese they want but well them inside their apartments. [laughter] kennedy: you could probably get home welding kits. i think it's a bang up idea. i think spike is right, if you have a job where you are better working from home and not distracted by a bunch of people then yes, people like that can work from home but if you are on a team and need creativity and like the great matt ridley said, ideas have sex and create more ideas and you can only get that when you're all together in one place eating cheese and cutting

what part of the truth is, house holding its first public hearing on ufos and more than 50 years. the big question, whether the government will admit if it's already found evidence of alien technology. he with me now, unidentified aerial phenomenon researcher and board member for the scientific coalition for uap studies, alejandro rojas joins me. welcome to the show. what are you hoping to see in these congressional hearings? >> the most boring part is going to be probably fairly wonky, the senators asking what's the holdup on getting this rolling, getting the investigating rolling and then saying not good enough, get something going. that part might be boring and not revelatory but it's exciting for someone like me because it's pushing the dod to actually get something done where we see more than ufo reports, we seen them for decades now. what we want to see is real research and coalition

correlating of the data from the different agencies and what do they know in the first place? kennedy: and what do they have, what have they physically materially come in contact with and what does it say about origin? how certain are you that the government has seen or has access or is in possession of something built somewhere far, far away? >> i'm skeptical they would have something like that personally, however, some of the individuals who have been part of the investigations that have happened like the pentagon program revealed by the times in 2017, they claim at least the water cooler talk around scientists who work on the projects says they do have a recovered craft. we've heard from people who ran the program who says they have recovered materials and researched the materials and they believe the materials to be

out. kennedy: do think the government has a plan and should we have more access to what the plan is in terms of being visited by aliens from another galaxy? [laughter] >> they do have plans, sometimes we run across contingency plans if we are attacked, stuff like that. as far as communication, it's hard to say, there are organizations, the study institute, they have protocols they've worked out ready to go should we be contacted. i don't know that we have an indication would be contacted by visitors anytime soon. kennedy: you believe here? there are skeptics who say all that we have seen including tik tok videos that is easily explainable by other phenomena not properly investigated and then you have people who have either seen something and it's made them believers including

some of our government military pilots and people who say it's mathematically impossible we are alone in the universe. who do you believe? >> i believe the data, the science. it's more . kennedy: do you believe anthony fauci? just kidding. [laughter] >> he hasn't research uap's as far as i am aware of but i'd like to know where he comes down on the topic. you have compelling witnesses that have come forward, you do have videos that have come forward and the question is still out there and one thing we are asking for, where are the investigations? you say the videos show unidentified flying objects, how did you determine that to be the case? we have no report about the science or investigative process that happens and that's what we want to get at. one of the things we are asking that they cover in the hearing.
