difficult to be police officers and engage in normal work, you are not allowed for example to pursue vehicles unless you have probable cause that a violent crime occurred and you get permission from your supervisor, that is almost impossible so what we have seen is a huge surge of catalytic converter thefts, smash and grabs. if you go in and out and get this over and done with, the cops won't show up with it, literally if they are driving from the scene of a crime as an officer pools up they cannot pursue, officers are saying i became a cop to protect my community. not only are you demonizing them but saying they can't do their jobs and for so many of them particularly in seattle, lost 450 cops they are saying you can't do it anymore.

could the fed get more aggressive? >> they baked in what the fed will do which is hike rate until we get to 3.5%. they are pricing in rate cuts next year so we get to 3. 5% for a second meeting of 2023 and two cuts, and no way in heck that happens. no way. if you go to 1970, the fed has not stopped hiking rates until the fed funds rate is above the inflation rate. as they hike the 9.1% inflation rate will come down, it is higher than 3.5%, the market and investors setting themselves up, a big disappointment through q2 of this year.

if you are a company like intel, intel made $20 billion, and tax deduction for building a plant and tax credit for building a plant and they can keep doing business in china and if china invades taiwan, they do what they are doing now in china. seems like a pro china bill, not anti-china bill, it will cause more inflation. there is no accountability, doesn't make sense. ashley: the same reaction, help for the chip industry, not letting us get into the same situation, don't want the reliance of overseas chips. how do we make sure the supply chain issue with computer chips doesn't happen again.
