>> exactly. of course ron desantis did the right thing here. the state attorney should be suspended if he is not willing to do his job by enforcing the law. what makes the story significant in my mind, far too many republicans are too weak or cowardly to take the kind of actions desantis just took. there are many red state governors that basically sit back and do nothing as these liberal george soros funded state attorneys, like you said, pick and choose which laws they want to follow and which ones they don't want to enforce. in fact a couple of days ago, 88 elected prosecutors, mostly attorneys general and district attorneys signed a letter vowing not to enforce anti-abortion laws. many prosecutors come from red states like texas and georgia. so the big question here is, why aren't governors like brian kemp or greg abbott doing the same thing that ron desantis just did? elizabeth: you know the governor also used colorful language. he said quote, we're not going

virginia voters got riled up when told school officials know more than they do. look, from detroit to even the san francisco bay area, school officials have practically boasted that critical race theory is taught in schools, it's not just a perspective on history, these are lessons that are actually advocating for racial discrimination. liz: watch that analysis from a senior fellow with the manhattan institute. watch this. >> absolutely i agree, what we've seen in san diego last year, they were promoting critical race theories and promoting radical gender this year and the idea is to turn students not towards education but left wing political activism and that's the through line for all the material and something more scary, it's not just theoretical for the kids, the policy in san diego and most big city school districts in california is now that schools can facilitate a child's gender or sexual transition and the de-funk policy is to keep it a secret from parents. this is a program that runs deeper than the ideas.
