7:00 pm
it's a disgrace, an absolute disgrace to see these democrats like merrick garland to do what they do. by the way, five tons is 10,000 pounds of fentanyl and that's what's come in since the fiscal year. liz: got it. congressman babit, thank you for joining us. you've been watching "the evening edit". join us again tomorrow night. kennedy: welcome to hump night done right. another disastrous spending bill made its way into law as guilty joe mansion exhausted it becoming a praia in his own party came to the lefties with the comically named inflation reduction act. it's now a law. i'm going to barf. so we're now saddled with $500 billion in new spending and brings sleepy joe debt up to a whopping $3.8 trillion since he took office. that should give everyone
7:01 pm
insomnia. it's hard to buy vote withs this level of inflation because prices are too dam high, but that's exactly what the ancient power mongers are doing. we're the suckers, $3.8 trillion won't pay for itself. luckily the world's largest collection agency, the irs, is about to get 87,000 new goons to shake you down. you thought inflation was a kick in the jimmy. wait till you're forced to fork over money you don't have to stay out of jail over a frivolous tax debt. taxization is theft. kevin mccarthy said that democrats are addicted to spending. president trump spent $580 billion in the first two years and who lit up trillions more like the paycheck protection act. the justice department estimates that dandy alone already conned taxpayers out of billions in
7:02 pm
fraud. that number is laughably low. people were trusted to self-certify. remember that? including one ingenious fellow who registered for benefits in 29 states under the same name. 342 were lazy and creative and put in applications under the name of n/a. again, the stones. they're all probably driving around in their edible lamborghinis still. i wonder how many phony climate fighters will gift off the inflation reduction act? is it going to birth a whole new generation of scam artists? sounds like it. it's bad news and we'll have to pay for it dearly. you can spend your way out of debt like you can hump your way back to virginity. either way, we're screwed. the new york times claims president biden is flying high.
7:03 pm
just doing a bang up job. they even have a new nickname for him: aviator joe. aka sleepy joe. with the sunglasses on so you can't tell he's nodded off. can all the spin in the world save us from this ac apocalyptic spending spree? we have fox news political analyst ron williams and 2020 libertarian vice presidential party candidate and he's the chair of you are the power.net, spike cohen and max or known as bazooka jew. >> that's right. thank you. kennedy: was told to say that in my defense, human resources. great to talk to all of you. carol, spending is a bad way to tame an inflationary economy. why haven't democrats learned that? >> well, i don't think they care.
7:04 pm
you know, recently i spent a lot of money and i assured my husband that our savings account would be replenished when i spent even more money. he didn't believe me either and i don't think any of them believe it. the democrats know what they're doing and they're buying the votes like you said. there's nothing to do with inflation and nothing to do with reducing inflation and, you know, i think part of the problem as i say about a host of issues is that we don't have a media that holds them accountable. we have this new york times story talking about joe's sunglasses. i'm glad they moved on from what flavor ice cream he eats, but it's still fluff pieces and it's not right that they don't hold him accountable whatsoever and the american people deserve better than that from their media. kennedy: one, what have we learned from both parties spending so much money? when will we get the bill? >> well, i think we get the biln us, kennedy, i think future generations will get the bill, and the bill will come in some incredible ways. i mean obviously everyone's
7:05 pm
concerned about the future of social security and those kinds of sort of elements of social safety net programs and whether they exist in the future. the contrary point is this that we just went through a pandemic and if you'll note, our economy really did not fall into any deep recession. in fact, you know, people were able to keep going and that's largely as a result of spending, but as you pointed out rightly, i mean, i can't use your language about getting back their virginity, but it was pretty funny. kennedy: but you got the point. >> i got your point and i think that it was in the terms of keeping us out of a deep recession, the spending was almost so overwrought that it led to inflation and it's an ongoing inflation. it's not to say that we shoushouldn't a spent the money. kennedy: i love juan because he
7:06 pm
writes for the national review. spike, as you've also rightly pointed out, a lot of the expenditures are just corporate welfare. i thought progressives hated corporations? >> yeah, that's during election season that the progressives hate corporate welfare, and the same way that republicans hate deficits and they're in office and they run up $7 trillion in debt like they did in one trump administration term. let's be very clear about this, the inflation reduction act is going to increase inflation in and of itself. number one, there is a net increase in debt spending, even with all the new irs agents, with the additional audits, vast majority of which are going to be done against the working class and the vast majority of tax increases, which according to the senate joint committee on taxization will be paid by lower and middle income tax brackets. with that, there's a net increase in spending, which means there's going to have to
7:07 pm
be more money created by the federal reserve and lended to the treasury and means more money chasing the same number of goods and services but thankfully the major multibillion dollar, multinational corporations got another multitrillion dollar corporate welfare bail out, courtesy of the taxpayer, which we'll be paying for years to come like juan said and by people who haven't even been born yet. kennedy: we'll be on the hook for it thanks to the 87,000 new irs agents. and there's a lot more middle income earners than high-income earners and those people know how to shield themselves and they're going to be going after people that make a lot less than $400,000 a year, and those people are already -- their problems have been compounded by supply chain issues and inflation. they won't forget no matter how you try and sell the aviators, people are still very much feeling a pinched economy in their own lives. all right, the president's enormous new spending bill, it's not upsetting conservatives. we'll see the pain in just a
7:08 pm
little bit. it's also -- panel in just a little bit. it's progressives and tucked inside the inflation reduction act is claws that open up the largest oil and gas resale in history. 80 million acres in the gulf of mexico and the ecofreaks are mad as hell and spitting mad saying biden sold them a false bill of goods. chief of staff ron clown -- sorry, clain says it's about leadership. >> we're going to see the american people respond to the leadership they're seeing from president biden and we're going to see the american people respond to the leadership they're seeing from democrats on capitol hill, and i think obviously we have a measuring stick of that coming in november. kennedy: yeah, you co. i love it. joe biden just saying here's a pan. joe, do you want a pan? i'm joe, my name is joe tuna and i got a pan. is president biden gaslighting everyone here, including
7:09 pm
environmentalists? he's a conservative environmentalist and founder and president of the american conservation coalition, benji backer. welcome back. >> thank you for having me. important topics ahead. kennedy: yeah, it's a lot of money and you thought some of the pandemic spending led to corruption and a lot of people saw when the programs first started. does this have the same issue attached to it? will there be, you know, a ton of so lind ragainis that get government funding but they're just skating off with our cash? >> well, look, i mean originally this package was supposed to be what they call build back better. it was trending towards the green new deal-type philosophy and instead of republicans coming up with an alternative, they kind of sat there and the reason we got a compromise that had some good stuff in it is because of joe mansion. republicans have to get to the table on these things otherwise they're going to continue losing
7:10 pm
and they have continued losing on this issue for the past couple of decades. we might not like how it ended up, but we haven't engaged with our own ideas, and i do think that the compromise thanks to joe mansion and the view that he represents, which i think represent a lot of rural middle america with regards to this issue, they resulted in really good things being put into the policy package. there are some really bad things but they are investigating in forestry and resilient coasts and agriculture and american manufacturing. there's good things in there and they wouldn't have happened without joe mansion and the far left is up set about it, but we have to come up with our own solutions too they're going to bop set about, and we haven't yet. kennedy: it's like school choice where republicans ceded ex-to democrats for decades and they've taken that issue back rightly because so much is
7:11 pm
beholdenned to the corrupt teacher's union that only donate to democrats? could there be a way for inviters to step forward -- innovators to step forward and instead of selling a life of os- isn't there a way for conservatives and the freedom minded to use american ingenuity to finally take back an issue that's rightly theirs considering how many conservatives hunt and fish and enjoy the earth? >> yeah, i'll push back on some rhetoric this is a green new deal and we're not going to be able to fly or do those things. that could be down the line if we don't come up with alternatives but this is not that. the climate specific provisions of the inflation reduction act, forget about the election and inflation, they're very sentrieses in ideology and we'e
7:12 pm
launched something called the climate commitment and alternative to the radical proposals that have been out there, and we need to lean in. to your point, republicans, conservatives, independents care a lot about the environment. we're the ones that live in the environment. we're the ones that spend a lot of time in the environment. there are some really good ideas that are pro-america, that are proeconomy, that are proconservation that also reduce carbon emissions. part of that is more american natural gas that's part of the plan and people on the left is really upset and it'll help our economy and help us reduce emissions. there's so many things like that. will we propose them or sit on the sidelines? that's what i'm fearful of. kennedy: why not have a bigger push within the conservative movement for nuclear. that's clean and plentiful. we have the technology and it could power every single grid from "coast-to-coast" but we're not utilizing it like a bunch of dumb dumbs and i would like to see people who care about the
7:13 pm
earth really pushing for nuclear and nuclear energy. benji, you got to go. good to talk to you. >> thank you so much. kennedy: coming up, government hates crypto and one whistle blower claiming the feds unsurprisingly trying to destroy it. can they really put the tooth paste back in the horse? ceo patrick is in studio next. there he is.

7:17 pm
kennedy: well, hello and welcome back. the feds gunning for your crypto and the truth is finally coming out and pennsylvania republican senator pat said the feds are coming out to stop people from working with lawful crypto companies and without any legal basis for doing so. why is the fdic so desperate to squash the businesses and have the feds been stifling crypto from behind the scenes. i have ceo of block chains and citadel investments group
7:18 pm
engineer patrick is pack. tell me everything. there's old people in the federal government that hate crypto and don't understand it and they're like, see, see, the value fell when we were right. >> true, and the value did fall. there's no -- there's a couple of memes on there where the same sort of statement is bitcoin. maybe new york is a similar situation and they look at the city and they're like, well now it's dead and never coming back. new york's back. kennedy: it's back. >> i'm a glass full guy. kennedy: i'm a glass full of urine because people are paying everywhere. >> but it's full. kennedy: sure is. so many nutrients. why is the fdic trying to monkey around with legitimate crypto bankers? >> first senator toomey does a great job every time he opens
7:19 pm
his mouth in relation to crypto and it's well thought out and he's willing to take a stance. kennedy: what does he get that others don't get? >> he understands that a lot of invasion is based on education and he himself is willing to educate his team and the people him to build these kind of statements. there's senators coming out with both a policy direction and a statement. so when we look at regulator. a regulator's job is not to invite. their job is to support and enforce -- kennedy: a preexisting system. >> correct. the an tis sis to it is regulation. the problem a banks as usual, the banks need the system to stay the way it is which is you give us, the banks, your money, and we'll do things with it. their business relies on that. when you take something that like a distalissed tool that --
7:20 pm
de-centralized tool that takes the money and removes it. there's a problem. regulators are not sure how to support that system and realistically they make -- kennedy: should crypto be entirely unregulated? >> i would like to say -- i would like to say yes but in reality, people aren't good entirely unregulated. there's bad people in the world so having regulators is a great way to protect people from bad people. however, are they overstepping? have they been overstepping for the last three years in the united states while the rest of the world takes laps around us and invasion? yes, they're way overstepping so we're falling behind in what used to be -- the united states was silicon valley and we're asking how do we rebuild silicon valley in our country? you don't hear people asking how to rebuild crypto system in the united states. you hear how do we get our
7:21 pm
crypto system out of the united states. as a american -- kennedy: there's a conflict of interest with the federal government because the federal government is also the central bank so they don't want anything that's going to directly compete with the u.s. dollar and manipulating the money supply. i don't know how you trust people from the federal government to do -- even if it's the least amounts necessary to keep people from being defrauded. >> well, to some extent the federal government is almost like a shadow in terms of like what they can actually enforce so already the system of -- kennedy: tell that to wesley snipes. >> true. but i guess i want to say positively that the government can't enforce what they're claiming they can endorse. it's already done. kennedy: why does elizabeth warren hate crypto so much? >> she can't control it. kennedy: she's a control freak.
7:22 pm
she's a senatorial dominate ddominaterixand will hold her hr money. money. if people worry they lost a bunch in crypto and bitcoin, will they make it back in nfts? >> they need to look at the meta verse. keen i did: we'll have a -- kennedy: we'll have a look. huge legal day tomorrow in florida. will a judge order the release of trump's fbi raid documents? is that a good idea? the pam has some thoughts. panel has some thoughts. they return next.
7:23 pm
7:24 pm
7:25 pm
7:26 pm
kennedy: a huge day tomorrow for president trump and his legal team in florida set to rule on unsaling many of the -- unsealing many of the documents
7:27 pm
during the raid at mar-a-lago and president trump demanding they release everything. i con curb. conquer. the justice department said that would mess with their investigation. the party panel is back, karol, juan, and skipper. >> it's crazy that the only explanation we have is the national archive wanted some of his papers. that's insane. he was the president and not like billy bob making a mess in his garage. it's a really important raid we should know way more about by now. it's insane that everything is hidden in secret from the american people. we deserve to know what happened here. you know, with donald trump everything becomes like do you love donald trump or hate donald trump, and that's really not the point here. i think the american people deserve to know why a former president's home was raided, and
7:28 pm
it's true that people who hate donald trump are like supportive of the raid, but it's not true that you have to love donald trump in order to think this raid was merrick garland getting revenge. i think a lot of people believe that and see that and we need to see the papers to see that that was maybe not the case. kennedy: they've not been given reason to believe otherwise, karol and that's very problematic. if this were a president that someone was cheering and they supported and the fbi launch add similar raid, they'd be very upset and we can't have an unequal application of laws and practices and we can't have this disproportionate outrage. so, juan, do you want to see the former president in jail? is that -- would that be the ultimate outcome? >> wow, you guys are really, really going off the night. let's just come back to center for a second. let's come back to center for a
7:29 pm
second. the man who runs the fbi is a trump appointee. you have people now vilifying the fbi. something that's a big joke, something that, kennedy, you want to laugh, all these people who say the fbi is full of radical left wingers, that's crazy and nuts. second thing, merrick garland, merrick garland was nominated by barack obama because he was a center-right judge and that's why he didn't get a black person nominated for the supreme court under a black president. now, here's the big thing -- kennedy: and no one ever gets radicalized. >> why was donald trump holding onto classified top secret documents all this time after leaving the white house even after being subpoenaed and even after he said he'd given it up and after his lawyers signaled, yes, we've given you everything. in fact, he hadn't given it all. something is stinky here. kennedy: i will grant you all of that. he shouldn't have had that stuff
7:30 pm
and should have given it back. do you want to see him in jail because of it? >> yeah. well, i don't know because i don't know that a grand jury will indict -- i believe he should go through the process. when you guys say, hey, show us the affidavit. show us the search -- show us everything. it's going to put a lot of witnesses, a lot of people in danger as we've seen the threat of violence is horrific. kennedy: they said the same thing about other people and they never produced any proof that people were compromised and put in harm's way. >> and they're not in jail. kennedy: well, they're in jails in they're own right. so, spike, i think that juan brings up a good point and, you know, we shouldn't -- or maybe karol brought this up, we shouldn't just focus on the former president. we should focus on law enforcement and the power of law enforcement at this point in our history. you don't have to like the former president. you can despise him and still
7:31 pm
despise all that's gone on with the raid. where do you stand? >> yeah, whether this raid is justified or not doesn't change the fact that the fbi is supposed to exist in the first place and congress put a prohibition on the federal police force back in 190 and will president roosevelt, theodore roosevelt had attorney general illegally move funds from the justice department to illegally create a department of what later became the federal bureau of investigation and for the past several decades, we have seen them continue with that tradition of crime, witness intimidation, framing people, drugging people, and murdering people. the framing and drugging and murdering of fred hampton. the framing of ross and leonard who to this day rot in federal prison for crimes they did not commit. the framing of -- in the public image of people like malcolm x and mohamed ali and martin
7:32 pm
luther king jr. and raids where they murdered entire families. the fbi should have been abolished years ago and was never supposed to exist in the first place. whatever happens with the trump indictment doesn't mean we should have federalli es. kennedy: spike cohen, you get the win here. things aren't all bad for former president trump. liz cheyney, here row of the january 6 committee, he was crushed in last night's republican primary and lost to trump-backed challenger harry haggeman by almost 40 points and in an unbelievable moment of narcissism, she compared herself to, wait for it, abraham lincoln in her concession speech. wait for it. >> the great and original champion of our party, abraham
7:33 pm
lincoln, was defeated in the senate and house before winning the most important election of all. lincoln prevailed and saved our union, and he defined our obligation as americans for all of history. kennedy: yeah, but lincoln wasn't an annoying harpy from a tainted dynasty. the president gloated on truth social writing liz chaney should be ashamed of herself and her action towards others and now can finally disappear in the depths of political oblivion where she'll be happier than she is now. is the cheney dynasty done or does lincoln have a 2024 trick up her stove pipe hat? karol. >> i think she's done. someone made the joke about her on twitter that she lost like
7:34 pm
lincoln with the four square and seven. you can't say she lost because donald trump backed her challenger which, listen, donald trump deserves credit for that win for sure. but when you lose by almost 40 points, it's not just because you and donald trump hate each other just because you've been beefing. it comes down to what was the point of you and her constituents did not feel that she was representing them correctly. so i don't see her going onto win a presidential nomination from the republican side and certainly not from the democrat side and sort of out of options after considering those two. kennedy: i really feel that she and george conway should get a room and maybe get married. juan. wouldn't that be gross? >> thank you. but, you know, i think her point is that she's standing up to donald trump and most
7:35 pm
republicans are laying down and just saying, whatever you want, donald trump. it doesn't matter if you shoot the guy on fifth avenue, you're still our guy. so remember, abe lincoln, he wasn't exactly mr. popularity. abe lincoln took it. he had to stand up and show some heart and make personal sacrifice, political sacrifice in order to save our union. i think that's the motive she wants to be seen in. that's rather grand indictment but that's what she's after. kennedy: she can get on the debate stage all she wants and there by herself. >> not looking for the nomination. she could be on the debate stage with donald trump. kennedy: not a chance. if the people who know you best like you least, you don't have a political future. take us home, spike cohen. >> yeah, i guess i could make see her on the debate stage in the first couple before getting knocked out as the cry tierier goes up in terms of polling.
7:36 pm
she shares in common with abraham lincoln that she's a well known republican politician getting way too much reverence but one thing we can give donald trump now, he ended the bush political dynasty and the clinton political dynasty and now he has ended the earth wild cheney political dynasty and couldn't have happened to a better family that is responsible for the loss of so many lives of american servicemen, not to mention the millions of people that have died under the cheney milltarian industrial complex. that's not why she was removed but turn about is fair play and her political career is basically over but she can get a job at one of the many defense contractors that her father has helped turn into multitrillion dollar corporations. she'll be okay. kennedy: liz, yeah, it's so
7:37 pm
funny because sometimes like peter meier lost in michigan. he was another republican who voted to impeach the president. i was bummed about that one. liz cheney, i didn't care. i really -- i cried no tears and there's something about her that is so unappealing and she should change her first name to karen. karen cheney and i'd like to speak to the manager of the republican party. party panel, thank you all so much. always good to talk to you. >> thank you, kennedy. >> karol, juan and spike. beautiful. one year after president biden's catastrophic withdraw from afghanistan, is the war more or less safe? bryan suits has all the intel and great facial hair, next.
7:38 pm
7:39 pm
7:40 pm
7:41 pm
7:42 pm
kennedy: well, it's now been a year since president biden screwed the afghanistany pooch. our withdraw from afghanistan -- sorry, i'm choking on his failure. it was horrible. while i believe we should have left and probably never have been there, the way they left made everything worse for one taliban quickly turning the country into a humanitarian nightmare. 97% of the population now facing poverty, like real poverty. they get less than one meal a day. there's so much malnutrition in the country, it is difficult to see. girls can no longer go to school and women have lost most of their rights and they have to cover their faces in public and cannot leave the house without a man. here with me now is bryan suits.
7:43 pm
welcome back, suits. >> hey, how do you like my new basement? kennedy: it's really outdoory. i hope you're writing a manifesto. >> don't. kennedy: all right. so do tell me, what did afghanistan do to russia and china in terms of their bol boldness? i mean, obviously the country is screwed and the country is horrible and russia and china are now feeling what? >> well, after the taliban instituted their policy to make afghanistan medieval again, the russian and chinese looked at them and said so -- kennedy: he's frozen. look at his little hand. he's so cute. like he had a plate of wisdom. scraps of experience and foreign policy gravitas he was going to feed all of us like charcuterie. i'm hungry for that knowledge. suits, you were saying before
7:44 pm
you froze. go ahead. >> really. the policy make afghanistan medieval again is in full implementation one year in like we talked about right after zawahiri was killed and the russian and chinese looked at that saying surely that's not going to happen a year ago and when it did happen, they realized that potis had a terrible team around him, made bad decision, wasn't talked out of them by the lead guy in uniform who didn't resign and they said, all bets are off and so of course that empowered the ukraine inflation and putin moved that to the left a couple months, and the chinese is now -- taiwan is ten years away and they don't have the amphibious lift or float to be there. what if it's unopposed and all bets are off and invasion of taiwan unopposed and if taiwan is an island and doesn't have polling or nato next door to it.
7:45 pm
it's an island. if it took biden getting kicked in the butt to support ukraine, he's not going to break a blockade or aerial blockade saying what's not to like here and let's tag team the americans with ukraine and taiwan off the ropes. kennedy: who helps us and russia and china and iran all working together. you know, it's like i do not want a war, i do not want a world war, let's say it game to that. who are we fighting with? australia? they don't do much. i'll tell you why australia doesn't do much, because the dingo ate my baby and that's not a knife. they hate guns. are you there? back in your basement? you're ghosting me, bryan. this is just like when you asked me to prom and you didn't show up. i had thought you turned me down but you really zipped up your nut sack.
7:46 pm
in a nutshell, chinese are calling joe biden as a bionic woman with all that power and no balls. kennedy: come on, man. >> because the japanese, the korean, even vietnam is saying please be our backbone here because they can't oppose china without us and we've been making all the sounds about well, it's the indo pacific demand and chinese are elmore boldened to think about move -- emboldened and the last base was 2039 and the people's republic of china and xi has been moving that to the left slowly. kennedy: we have to go and i hope you fix your basement. it's lovely, suits. okay, topical storm is next.

7:48 pm
7:49 pm
7:50 pm
kennedy. kennedy: a spirit airlines employee was fired after filmed punching a customer in the face at the dallas airport. witnesses say they were shocked because it's the first time spirit's ever made a connection in dallas. that's a flight deck and this is the topical storm. topic number one: we begin with the vicious competitor since the
7:51 pm
russian olympic team, the 2022 white marlin fishing tournament where the maryland fisherman made a catch for a first place win and you'll never hear amazing catch, marlin, and first place win in the same sentence ever again. all right, there's jeremy duffy with the 77.5-pounder. earning $4.4 million in cash. best of all, he did it with the help of entire family, at least that's according to the lawsuit filed. this is the biggest catch since the science teacher snagged him. that was a good one. white marlin open running for 49 years. this year it's $6 million in prize money changed hands, which explains why the irs is now issuing agent swords and harpoon guns. i get it. topic two: un un united and amen airlines ordered fleets of supersonic j j jets and still wt get you where you're going on
7:52 pm
time. the new overture jet has a new gnetaceae is row carbon footprint and travels roots across the globe making them the only jet to get around more than zack wilson. he's such a baby face. the planes will reportedly cut travel time in half offering flights from san francisco to tokyo in just six hours so you can enjoy authentic japanese sushi and real san francisco heroin in the same day. boom says the jets could be in service by 2029. until then, if you'd like to experience an airline sonic boom, visit the spirit airlines ticket counter at the dallas airport. topic number three: a tenant in a high-priced new york luxury building caught on camera repeatedly throwing eggs at her neighbor's doors. what a jerk. but before i judge her, omelet, let me explain. i screwed that up. never mind. her name is yon lee and lives in
7:53 pm
upper east side high-rise with a gym, pool, and on site life guard and free breakfast delivered to your door every day. since january, her neighbor haves been coming home to find smashed eggs in their doorways creating a environment of terror and dread and they were literally and figuratively walking on egg shells and the building installed cameras and caught her in the act of vandalism. sounds like her brain is scrambled so the nypd sent over a couple of hard boiled detectives to crack the case. uh-huh. now the building owners are demanding she pay a fine of $260,000 because they don't want her to get off overeasy. believe me, that kind of money, it's no yolk. topic number four: google has developed a mobile robot with artificial intelligence that can bring its employees bags of chips and cans of soda. yeah, wally, here we come. in other words they've spent billions of dollars to re-invent the vending ma here .
7:54 pm
it's the new office assistant at google headquarters with the ability to grasp one single thing at a time making it smarter than the average cnn viewer. the robot is equipped with chat bot technology and can conversion with google engineers and they hope one day engineers will be able to talk with humans. for now the robot has limited commercial value because it can only perform simple one-handed tasks and it could be used to hold a microphone for a sign language interpreter or help jeffrey count to ten on a zoom call. see. we'll be right back with kennedogs. you ready for it? woof.
