gobbled up by high prices. stuart: you know about money and you also know about politics. governor newsom launched the billboard campaign, 7 republican states touting california's abortion laws. do you think the abortion issue is what democrats will hang their hat on in november? >> you look at the real clear politics average, the margin of potential victory shrinking between republicans and democrats, it was much wider a few months ago. it is significantly shrinking and shrinking the chances of the red wave that was projected a few months ago. are democrats championing that message? winning on messaging? many analysts are making that case. republicans have a lot they can talk about including inflation, the economy, the top issues for voters, 4 american voters republican and democrat but if democrats win on the messaging
