green, dow is up to 30, nasdaq is up 150, that is 1.4% gain on the nasdaq getting close to the 11,000 level. kenny, is this a bear market bounce? >> it is a bear market bounce. on friday we talked about the dow theory that got activated at 10:00 friday. we saw what happened on friday and again yesterday, certainly it happened quickly, this bounce just had a bounce and i think there's more weakness ahead as we move into third-quarter earnings season. stuart: explained again the dow theory surrounding the transport. >> the dow transport and dow industrials move in unison with each other and they will detail a trend. we saw over the last couple

months the dow weakened by the dow industrials maintaining above june lows, transports collapsed below july lows so were transports going to rally back or the dow industrials going to fail to hold closer, when i was there friday i brought the point up the we were 500 points away from the dow industrials and in fact we hit it and look what happened, friday we were down 800 points so that suggests the trend going forward is weaker. doesn't mean the bug will fall out but it means beware because the problem is weakness ahead. to be anxious or aggressive. stuart: here is what i keep hearing, that when we get earnings season as you mentioned, in full swing, 10 days, 2 weeks from now if there's any earnings cuts the

the alarm about the storm. >> this could be if the models hold, the nightmare scenario florida has been dreading for a century. you have to evacuate now if you are told to do so. stuart: ashley webster in hernando beach, an hour north of tampa. have most people evacuated? >> no. i would say maybe 50% say they may move out but the rest say move out but earlier today officials in hernando county where we stand put out a mandatory evacuation for this area. all these homes in the sky now system linked to the ocean. a steady stream of people bringing boats in or jet skis and moving out of the border. we are at low tide. later it will be high tide and you add 5 to 8 feet of storm surge, could be more than that,

very likely scenario where the water will pour over the seawall and inundate all these homes. some are being built now and it is built as a hurricane proof home. don't know if enough has been built to withstand those winds in flooding. we will wait and see but this is not going to happen again. storm surge 528 feet, could be absolutely catastrophic. someone told me, this area will be in 4 feet of water. they have been warned, but to get to the original question, are they heating the advice? there still the element of we have seen this before but officials are bringing home the point this is something that hasn't happened in 100 years, this is strong winds, very strong storm surge pushing that water from the gulf into this area, very low lying, one of

become an american citizen and there's a feeling sometimes that people are bypassing the rules, that is not something favorably viewed by hispanics. of the one may i refer to an editorial i put out the i don't think you saw, i said on a personal level if i see migrants on the streets of new york, i personally would help. i would offer a small amount of money, sandwich and a smile because i think that's the correct way to handle other human beings in human terms. i realize i will be criticized for helping them and encouraging them to come. what is your perspective? am i doing the right thing, personally helping another human being? >> yes. i think absolutely being helpful to another human being is a moral obligation and we would do the same thing in miami.

what we have to do is have a clear conversation on immigration that is nonpartisan. hispanics for example are turning republican. that should depoliticize the conversation, we shouldn't be afraid to have legal immigration on a level that is beneficial to this country in national security interests. when we see supply-chain shortages, in miami we have 1.4% unemployment, that means restaurants need employees, small businesses need employees, we need immigrants given the fact our birthrates are not at replacement rate throughout this world and create a problem going forward to the next generation. blue on the first interview i've ever done where i've not asked if you were running for the presidency but i will dismiss that, great having you on and hope you come back soon.
