the tenure treasury yield coming in at 3.73%. now this. the political maneuvering around hurricane ian speaks volumes about president of politics. it is governor desantis versus president biden. when the governor flew migrants to martha's vineyard he was going after the president's open border policy, deliver it poke in the eye to poke desantis on the national map and it worked. the border became a national issue and the president looked back. then came ian. governor desantis jumped all over it. he took charge, he knows ian is a test of his executive talent just like migrant flights to the border, florida's hurricane puts desantis on the national stage, he is the standout republican, the president wants a standout democrat so he has entered, he has gotten into it, hurricane management business, visiting fema, urged floridians

alexandria ocasio cortez claims abortion is an economic issue. >> forcing poor and working-class people, against their will, against their consent, against their ability to provide for themselves or a child is a profound economic issue and is certainly a way to keep a workforce basically conscripted, to large-scale employers and employers to work more against their will. stuart: i'm not sure how to take that. you are the mother of five girls i understand. >> first of all, she should take an economics class or watch this show to get a clue on how economics works. we know when there is more able-bodied workers contributing to our economy
11:05 am
that is a good thing. we want to make sure the population is growing, populations in europe in the negative numbers and birth rates, that is hard, very difficult because then it is a bloated situation for the older population, so aoc gets it wrong. we need to make sure single mothers, people having difficulties get the support they need to raise their families and say that abortion, equate that to economics makes absolutely no sense. we want to be a pro family country and basically replace the population, that is a good thing. stuart: i am not sure how important the abortion issue is to the democrats this november. they may be exaggerating its

importance. >> if they are going to put all their eggs in one basket when it comes to the abortion issue they will get it all wrong. this election is about the economy, this election is about crime. this is about border security. those are the issues the american people care about. the abortion issue will energize the liberal base. that is not going to be enough. at the end of the day you will see a red wave especially in the house of representatives come november. stuart: you are not supposed to say this but only time will tell. >> only time will tell. stuart: have a wonderful weekend. look at the market right now and understand we need dividend stocks, someone to guide us

11:08 am
back to intel. i heard you recommend this before, intel's dividend, $26 a share, dividend was way up there. >> the dividend as percentage of the stock price yields go higher but nobody likes when the stock price is coming down. my argument when i talk about stock is this is a two or three year story because they are reinvesting heavily into ohio, arizona to become a manufacturer in the semiconductor space and that's a different model, very expensive. they will spend tens of billions of dollars, on the other side of this, it will be wildly profitable but investors have to be patient, stock prices down, dividend paying and growing. stuart: what is the dividend on intel? >> close to 4%, it had been in the 2s, that's not where we want it.
