after seeing the immense destruction in fort myers with, both men promised to do everything in their collective power to help floridians get back on their effete, and that's pretty much -- their feet, and that's pretty much where the similarities ended. governor desantis the addressed the fears that people in his state have not only about their pooch, but about looters -- their future, but about looters. watch. >> we're not going to met bad actors exploit them. that means law and order will be enforced. that means individual floridians' right to defend themselves and their homes will be honored. we've had four looters that were arrested i guess a couple days ago, and they need to be brought to justice, and we're not going to tolerate it. but, you know, three of the four are illegal aliens. if they should be prosecuted, but they need to be sent back to their home country. they should not be here at all. disaster areas in the last couple months, last six months. you know, more of, more fires have burned in the west and the southwest, burned everything right to the ground than -- the entire state of new jersey, as much room as that takes up. and the reservoirs out west are down to almost zero. we're in a situation where the colorado river looks more like a stream. there's a lot going on. and i think the one thing has finally ended is a discussion about whether or not there's climate change and we should do something about it. kennedy: yeah. i know climate change is a very important issue. most sane people recognize that. but if your home is gone, you have no car, in some cases no food or water, you're more worried with about staying alive than putting in solar panels or the dry colorado river are. the climate talk, that can wait until another day. so what does this say about the leadership qualities of these

respective men and potentially about 2024? let's meet tonight's party panel, steven l. miller. yes. fox news political analyst juan williams, he can't wait to get into this and base politics cofounder, brad polombo. wink back to you, brad. steven, i will start with you. finish they said that they were coming together to talk about florida, but is it wrong to read the tea leaves and try and figure out the posturing they were doing and how it helps them in 2024? >> not -- i mean, no. people are going to do that regardless, and we don't know what the florida governor's plans are yet. it wasn't a real bright idea on behalf of the advance team to put the president of the united states podium for desantis to get a photograph behind -- [laughter] that was some good optics for them will. but, yeah, it's telling that, you know, biden got up there and

toll a story about a lightning strike hitting his house, and that was just like someone losing a house in a hurricane. they've also said on social media with that desantis has botched this thing, they've now settled on the fact that he wore white shrimp flood boots because none of the accusations suck. and biden today said he was doing the a great job, and that was the end of that. kennedy: all right. juan williams, i don't think this is the time the talk about drought can when people's homes have been destroyeded by rain and hurricane precipitation. >> well, you know, i love you, but i think you're really wrong here. you know, this is like that story about, you know, somebody sees children dying in the river and they say what's going on, and finally somebody says, well, let's go upstream and see where these children are coming from.

what is the problem? you can talk about hurricanes and destruction in florida, the severity of that hurricane beyond a doubt without talking about the fact that the waters are are warmer due to climate change. so it's funny, the older guy here, you know, the conservatives love to say is doddering and losing -- he's the one with a vision and saying, wait a second, we have to deal with this in a way that prevents the next hurricane ian. to me, that's a political leader. kennedy: no, to me that's a political stunt on an issue that is polling far below things like economy, crime, inflation, immigration. and, yeah, that might all be well and good, but there is nothing to say that this hurricane was caused directly by climate change, but the hurricane directly caused death and destruction, and that's what has to be addressed right now. people's immediate needs, not some long-term, philosophical

whim for progressives. so, brad -- >> he was down there, he was down there giving them money and giving them attention and working with the governor who, as you pointed out, he has little in common with politically and is, you know, potentially a political rival. so i think he was paying attention to the immediate need -- kennedy: well, yeah, no, you just made my point. that's all he's doing is trying to score political points with his platform -- >> oh, come on. kennedy: -- instead of directly talking about what is going on with people in florida. now, brad, already a lot of people on the left who have taken issue with what governor desantis said about looters. is that what people in florida want to hear? do they want to hear that kind of talk from their governor? >> yeah, they do, and they should. what desantis said about looters is just based. i don't know how anyone could get outraged. your outrage should be people who would loot after a natural disaster. go out and try to rob them, get rich quick quick. that's who deserves our outrage,

frankly. desantis is right that that's part of the second amendment. he says florida is a second amendment state. mess around and find out. that's exactly what looters deserve. because even in the best of times, you know, when seconds count, the police can be minutes away. in the aftermath of a disaster zone, the police might not be able to get to you for hours, and it's just another reminder of why i would much rather be in a state that respects people's right to second amendment and self-defense than one of these blue states like new york that does everything they can to disarm their law-abiding citizens. so the outrage over what desantis said is much ado about nothing because, if anything, what he's said is pretty base. cape ken yeah. and what he said is people do have the right to defend themselves, especially when first responders cannot get to them. but if people who mean them harm get there first then, yes, people are going to exercise that right. all right, panel, please don't go anywhere. stay right here. it is a big night on the kennedy show. much more coming up including

kennedy: pain at the pump make its grand return just before the midterms. that's convenient. gas prices expected to rise after opec member nations agreed to cut global oil production by 2 million barrels a day. president biden loved taking credit when prices went down, but the white house is busy blaming russia when they go up. watch. >> reporter: you said the president was responsible for gas prices coming down. is the president responsible for gas prices going up? >> so it's a lot more nuanced than that, right? there have been global challenges that we have all had dealt with. there's been pandemic and there's been putin's war. and putin's war has increased

gas prices at the pump. kennedy: remember that suck-up fist bump in saudi arabia? biden groveled for oil production, and the saudis snubbed us. what was the point of that whole trip? here with me now, max funds.com cofounder and fox news contributor jonas max ferris. so, jonas, normally when we're entering global uncertainty and a possible recession, isn't that when energy prices typically come down? what are we seeing? >> and they were coming down. there was almost $130 a barrel at one point, and then the fed started raising a rates to cool the overheated, high inflationary economy, and oil was coming down. you saw it at the pump. but normally, it would keep coming down and probably get to $50 a barrel, and the inflation would go away. but opec is not going to allow oil to get that a cheap because they made a decision to cut oil

production at an already time when you generally wouldn't do that which is kind of high prices. you'd actually want to try to make money that. but there's a lot of reasons they're doing it, and some of them are more sinister than others. on one side, we're not very friendly with most of the major producers. we've got some argument whether it's iran or russia or saudis, venezuela, and you need someone, you know, they all get along on some level. they have their own peck production arguments, and we want one of them to kick in oil, and they don't really care about us. they care about their organization that is designed to maintain a high energy price which their countries can make as much money as possible. it makes -- i don't with understand why biden's so surprised by this. they are helping the russians in this case and themselves sell at a high price and keep the flow of money going in to counter the recession. we're sort of trying to cause but are scared to really cause to fight inflation. kennedy: all right. so how do do you bring down demand if we're entering into a

season where people need to heat their homes? here in the united states, western europe, all over the world, demand is only going to go up. how do you temper that? >> interesting. one of the reasons i think they're doing this right now is we're kind of running out of excess oil that was in this spr which we shouldn't have been tapping this aggressively. this puts us in a dangerous position. and now that we're running low on that, if they cut supply -- another reason is the west, the e.i. region, is trying this bizarre way of capping the price you can pay for russian oil and gas which doesn't make any sense, nixonian in style. and if you are in the oil business, a country in opec, the worst thing you want to hear is you're capping the price of our product? guess what, we're to going to cut the production, and that will counter whatever cap you think you're going to do, because now where's your oil going to come from? ask then the oil price is going to to go to a higher price, and they're going to have to get it from russia. the other organization -- if you're an organization that's going to to crimp the supply to

maintain a high price, we would have to organize as europe as the demanders, primarily although we produce a lot of oil, and produce and demand less. that drives the price down. we could do it this expensive way with high interest rates which is going to cause a real estate cash -- crash, but at the end of the day, you want to reduce -- we're doing the opposite. all the states, california, florida now doing gas tax holidays, giving you money to buy more gas. the u.k., who's making a complete mockery of economics and is a joke right now is basically paying your power bill, because it got too high. that's the opposite of what opec is doing. what you're saying is we're going to pay for the bill that's high to russia and to saudis and venezuela because we don't want you to con assume less volume, but ultimately we have to consume less volume in the short run, we need longer term strategies for more production but in the short run we would have to hit demand, not

subsidize it, and then arbitrarily try to cap the price of russian oil. this is not economically how you solve this problem. they're actually making sense. we're the ones who can't make sense because we're scared of the voters in all these countries, and we don't want to tell them that you have to consume less energy while we're in this problem over -- kennedy: yes. and if as daniel turner has pointed out, a recession is the worst way to see demand in the energy market. i mean, that's the last way you want prices to come down. but it may come to that. i just hope at some point the white house, you know, they're so busy giving themselves high-fives when the price of gas drops. when it goes up, they should take responsibility for that. they should take the blame, and they never, ever will. bunch of bad actors and a bunch of gas jerks. not you, jonas. thank you very much for your insights. >> thank you. kennedy: all right. california gas prices, they're already sky frigging high, up to

$6.46 a gallon in l.a. county. and now governor handsome pants, gavin newsom, he's promising are relief in the form of new stimulus checks, government handouts. they're not tax rebates no matter what he says through his lying teeth. starting friday, californians will receive the tax refund of up to $1,050 depending on household income. newsom says the payments are spended to blunt the impact of inflation -- intended to blunt the impact of inflation. handouts cause more inflation. no one knows that better than the cohost of the gary and shannon show, gary hoffman is back. hi, gary. >> hey, e kennedy, how are ya? kennedy: we're talking gas and energy in this b block, gary hoffman, and i think that the governor is completely misguided. that's why we are in the inflationary pickle we are in, because the federal government has been printing and handing out money. california's doing the exact same thing. does no one see how this is

going to make everything worse? >> i don't know when you took economics, but it was the a junior in high school when i learned that the government printing money can cause and exacerbate inflation. i was a junior in high school. that was many decades ago. i'm surprised that this -- and gavin and i actually didn't go to high school too far apart up in northern california, so i know that the a curriculum was probably very similar. what amazes me also about this is that if you're, if you have the amount of money, if you have enough money in the surplus here in california to give these taxpayers, about 23 million of them, about $1,000, why is there no consideration for reducing their tax the burden in the first place by about $1,000? whatever that comes out to every single month, 75, 85, $95 per month and allow those 23 million taxpayers to use the money they see fit as opposed to putting it through the gavin hair filter

and letting him decide where the money goes? [laughter] kennedy: yeah. it's really the worst way of doing it and then lying about i. it's like the inflation reduction about. it's not a tax rebate. it's a government handout. it is making inflation worse, and it's very curious timing right before the midterms. >> well, that's the thing, is this originally was planned back when the first prices started spiking back in the spring. and amazingly, these checks -- according to the franchise tax board -- about 90% of them will be issued by the end of this month. and then about a week later we vote for governor in the state of california, which is an amazing thing. and and we all know voters are idiots sometimes when it comes to their leans bias -- recency bias. they remember that they just got a check or saw a direct goes if sit in their account, and he's just going to use -- listen, he has nothing to worry about.

he's ahead double digits in the polls against his republican challenger for governor. this is going to be use as a feather in his cap for when he runs in 2024 for the white house. kennedy: ooh. i think he's just bribing people to say nice things about him so they tell their relatives and others, gavin's great. [laughter] i really hope americans aren't that naive. i hope they see this guy for what he is. he's a job killer. he hates homeless people, otherwise he wouldn't let them live and fester and proliferate on the streets of cities like san francisco and los angeles. you know, he is despised by a large part of -- go ahead. >> not to mention the fact that he loves power. we're on day 945 of gavin newsom's covid emergency declaration. we're approaching 1,000 days of an emergency declaration by this guy which gives him unchecked powers in many areas. and i don't know why, i don't know why he will not give it up.

kennedy: why can't california find a better republican to run against these empty-headed, establishment democrats? or even a libertarian or a libertarian-leaning republican? i'm fine with that. >> we saw when larry eller ran for -- elder ran for governor during the recall a year ago, he got ruined in the media. he was called a white supremacist by the l.a. times, the black face of white supremacy. how ridiculous could it be for a republican to run up against an entire state and an entire medik radio -- that is against you like that? it's very, very hard, uphill climb. i didn't know i didn't know yeah. maybe -- kennedy: yeah. maybe, no offense, but maybe some of those people shouldn't be running for governor. just saw now, i think he was being self-critical. i think that our times are polarized, politically polarized, but that people do want sound bites, and if they rightly hold him responsible when he said, oh, you don't need masks, then he went back and said, yeah, you do need a mask, and he was trying to protect the supply of mask for medical -- i mean, that's his fault. but let's just say, honestly, he never said it's going to be over in two weeks. i can think of somebody who did. he was never saying here's some phony thing to stick in your nose. he was never that guy. i think he saved lives. kennedy: well, he certainly moved goalposts in terms of herd immunity and never really addressed what natural antibodies would do in terms of protection for people. he was just pushing a one-size-pits-all -- fits-all vaccine mandate that got a lot of people fired, a lot of first responders and people many law enforcement and the military. brad, so while he was doing all

of that, he and his wife, while businesses were shuttered, people were scamming the government for phony ppp loans, kids were kept out of school and toiling in their own mental health problems, he is and his wife were enriching themselves. so at least someone came out of the pandemic green on the other end. where's he getting all this money, brad? >> yeah,st crazy to see dr. fauci's net worth increase by literal millions of dollars just between 2019 and 2021. like, sir, that is sus. where did this money come from? it's not just his salary, which is high enough. he's one of the highest paid employees in our government. but it's also huge award grants that he's gotten from foreign nonprofits and prizes he's won and all this cash that's come in with his celebrity. most people don't know this, but actually working at fauci's agency and elsewhere in the nih, government scientists and officials actually receive

royalty payments from pharmaceutical companies because they're given credit for helping with different inventions. so they're getting checks coming in the mail. fauci received, i believe, dozens of them from 2014 and just from a 5-year period that was examined by open the books. this money is coming into the door can while at the same time these agencies are overseeing and regulating this industry. that's very suspicious especially when couple with the fact that his net worth surge literally by millions. kennedy: yes. when, again, stephen l. miller, a lot of people lost their jobs. why does he have such a hard time answering direct questions about these royalty payments to senator rand paul? >> he's deflecting blame. fauci, i think, he knows he has most of the media on his side and kind of what juan said, all they care about is the fireworks there. they love the back and forth and

rand paul did this and fauci did that, and they're not interested in actually getting to the truth or the solution to make sure this pandemic doesn't happen again. and i think fauci's well aware of that. he's very pedantic when he's up there testifying, and he exploits that in interviews as well. not everyone might know what a grant is or a royalty payment or gain of function or dual use of concern research is. and he exploits that to his benefit. and, again, we have a media that nose they're not going to hold him accountable because several members have candles of his head sitting on top of their toilets at home. kennedy: god, that's so gross. i wonder if they're scented. [laughter] speaking of shifty losers, alec baldwin reaching a settlement with the family of "rust" cinematographer halyna hutchens, they had file a lawsuit against the producers and baldwin after he shot and killed her on the set last october. baldwin could still face

criminal charges in new mexico. the settlement also says filming will resume in january. that's creepy, with hutchens' widower as executive producer. should the show go on, juan? >> i don't like this one at all. i don't understand why the criminal proceedings haven't reached some conclusion. i mean, shouldn't he be at least in front of a grand jury, kennedy? kennedy: yeah. >> what's going on with that? kennedy: no, you're absolutely right. it's been a lot of time, enough time especially with the fbi aiding in the local investigation with new mexico -- >> right. kennedy: -- municipal and state police. why don't we have more answers about what happened ands who is going to face accountability for that? so here you go concern. >> i think i'll skip that movie. kennedy: i think that's -- [laughter] so greasy. brad, what do you think? i don't think they should -- >> yeah. i guess to me it shows the difference between woke celebrities and conservative

[laughter] i think that, you know, the hammer may eventually drop on him with the criminal charges, but it's nuts to me that they're moving ahead with this film and just that this hasn't been a bigger deal outside of, you know, right of center circles and media. a lot of people have kind of talked about this, then swept it under the bridge and just move on. and i just don't think that is what -- he's famously anti-trump, outspoke spend liberal. i think if the reverse was true, if this was a right-wing celebrity actor, we would be talking about this very differently in many corners of the media. kennedy: yes.

muck my situation. ♪ ♪ walking in and out of that door ♪ kennedy: i'm back. election day is a little over a month away, and senate races are tightening up across the country. in pennsylvania, republican dr. mehmet oz gaining ground on democrat john fetterman. fetterman's up big for months, but the race, it is now considered a toss-up. in arizona republican candidate blake masters pulling within just 3 points of incumbent democratic accurate senator mark kelly who was up by 11,000 points a few months ago. and in georgia, herschel walker battling a big october surprise with a woman now claiming walker got her pregnant and then paid

for an abortion. could that alleged scandal cost him the seat? republicans and the senate majority? here with me tonight, fox news contributor and recent guest on my podcast, ben domenech. welcome back, ben. >> great to be with you, kennedy. it's a really competitive situation going into the final weeks, headed into innovate. and i -- november. i certainly think that all three of the races that you highlighted are really going to be decisive in determining what the outcome really is and whether republicans are able to take the senate. ing. kennedy: i don't think that walker's going to be able to do it. i was watching this come out this week, and i was, hike, okay, this is four and a half weeks out. they've got much more on him, i do believe, and what happens two weeks out and one week out? i think herschel walker's in real trouble. >> so there's two sides of the whole kind of clear the field in order to become the nominee thing, which is what herschel walker did, you know? he had the trump endorsement, so

he didn't have to go through a competitive primary in order to get to the point of being a nominee. the town side, of course, is that none of this dirty laundry gets aired earlier in the cycle where you could have had an opportunity to recover from it, to message it, to try to work around it, to have some kind of graceful period of saying, you know, i've learned from my past mistakes. instead, you have this kind of coming at the end of this very, you know, fractious campaign. and i don't think that herschel walker is necessarily someone who has the political capability to be able to navigate this scenario. now, ultimately, i think for republican voters in georgia they're going to be there for him. they're going to come home, and they're going to support him because he's the red tie versus the i blue tie. they want to have a senate that's run by republicans and not by democrats. but i think for a lot of independent voters this is kind of thing that turns you off. it's closer to the roy moore experience than sort of the donald trump access hollywood experience if that makes

sense -- kennedy: yeah, absolutely. republican in alabama lost to doug jones at the last minute, and herschel walker's son saying mid dad is a liar -- >> look, i think herschel walker's a talented guy, he's obviously somebody who, you know, was an epic sports hero for the people of georgia and fans across the country, but i also think he's someone who was an outsider who necessary never won or run statewide before, and that really turns out to be historically a defect. so it's a real coin flip, i think, at this point when it comes to the georgia seat. kennedy: well, we'll see what happens in the next couple weeks. some polls have them a point apart, some have walker up by a point. we will see. arizona, blake masters, you know, again, one of those candidates that was trump-endorsed, and a lot of people wrote him off because he was so far behind mark kelly. how has he come within three percentage points? >> well, mark kelly is, unlike kyrsten sinema the other senator from arizona, someone who's

really been a lockstep democrat vote when it comes to all of these leftist policies. he's not someone who has charted his own path or been an independent voice in any real way. and while he may have a nice story when it comes to his background and being an astronaut and that kind of thing, that only buys you so much. blake masters is not someone who's natural naturally gived when it comes to retail politics. i think he might admit that. he's kind of a silicon valley nerd guy who is running in campaign because he has strong ideological views, and he has the support of billionaire peter thiel who, most recently, is clearly getting back involved in this race which i think could be a critical and decisive factor. arizona is not a red state or a blue state. it is a purple state concern. kennedy: and they like it that way. they actually like that -- >> they do. kennedy: -- sinema doesn't tow the party line. that's why she was elected. all right -- >> exactly. kennedy: we only have 30
