senate, it was big footing announcement but what is your message to voters in georgia right now? because we've got senator warnock and his team saying you're not ready for prime time? you're just an athlete. what is your message to georgia voters? >> people saw at the debate who is ready for prime time and who is ready to be a senator. during the debate i took him to school, he wouldn't answer any questions before. he continued to say the things i talked about himself. i built a business. i signed the front of a paycheck. he never has. the apartment he owns 99% of it is a terrible manager. people are living in filth. there have been dead bodies found there. he has been evicting people for rent while i built a very successful business, yet in two short years as a a he failed georgia. voted with president biden 9% of the time. we're headed in the wrong direction. crime on the street, open border. he opened to put men in women's

sports. after all that who is ready to be a senator? it is not senator warnock. he already proved that don't represent georgia. i'm the man to represent georgia right now. elizabeth: herschel, the gop, they're getting criticized for failing at this ballyhooed midterm red wave. the thinking is they didn't megaphone and broadcast their plans. two big problems, first what are your plans to battle inflation? >> my plan to battle inflation first thing we want to do, get rid of those 87,000 irs agents. let's get rid of agents that will come after us. then let's try to get our energy back. i think that is the first thing we need to do is get our energy back once we get our energy back we can get the economy stirred back up. now you will get people money in their pockets. put money back in their pock pockets to get everycharging for gas. utility bills are going up. food prices are going up. what i want to get us back to

energy independence. that will get our supply chain together that is the first thing i think we need to do, start trying to worry about things like that because we also worried about a national security problem as well. once you start asking for things from your enemy i don't think they understand the definition of an enemy. an enemy is somebody that don't like you. we shouldn't go to them to ask for any type of oil and gas. right now we're so fertile underneath our feet we need to get back to do our own things our ownselves. elizabeth: herschel, the other thing what can you promise the people of georgia that is different from senator warnock on crime? violent crime is up 24% in georgia. >> well, one thing i can promise i stand behind our men and women in blue. right now i had more sheriffs endorse me than any candidate running in georgia. i had over 114 sheriffs endorsed me. they endorse me because they know i will always have their backs. senator warnock called them names, bullies thugs.

recruitment is down. i would like to bring harmony, peace between the citizens and the police. to have leaders in washington continue to have this fight with our law enforcement, that what is it going to happen with the citizen. they will do the same thing. we have to bring the respect back to our law enforcement. that is one thing i will work my tail off to get done. senator warnock has not done it. i goes to his church. preaches things against the police, against law enforcement. we can't do that. we have to have law and order. i said that many times. you think about the border, that is what i keep telling people in less than two short years you see where we're at. he hadn't been in office two short years we're right now this country is in a mess. this state is in a mess. people like senator warnock who is not a leader. washington to be a follower to follow joe biden. when i go to joe biden i will represent the georgia people. there are good people here. i will not say that we don't have our problems because we do but we worked the problems out together.

elizabeth: herschel, democrats they will have to defend a big 23 senate seats out of 33 will be up for re-election in 2024 versus 10 for republicans. that is why this is such a big fight over with your senate runoff. the concern was that the fight, inside of the senate and the house between republicans over the their leadership was hurting your campaign, pulling focus aways and there is concern that your campaign is not getting enough money. are you, are you guys okay with funding? because we're hearing that you know, some funding mechanisms were just giving you guys 10% and 90% went to the trump campaign or 90% went to say the north carolina you know, gop arm or the georgia gop arm? what is going on with funding of your campaign? >> well, first of all you know, senator warnock is trying to buy this seat. that is what they did. they got into the runoff, they were trying to buy this seat. i was not going to let them to

buy this seat. they may raise more money than i will. i will get more votes than they will. that is the reason we're in a runoff right now. he don't know how to spend his money we can't let him spend our money. i will not let him buy the seat. with the runoff we're only show in town. this is the biggest show in town. everybody is out there with type of scheme, some type of this. let everyone know to go to team herschel.com. we will not let them buy this seat. we'll raise money we need to raise to win the sheet for the great people of georgia. this ♪ senator warnock holds do not belong to him. it belongs to the people. we have to get back to in this country, get back to the people. this is the people's seat. elizabeth: listen to senator mitch mcconnell with his take what happened in the midterms. watch this. >> what happened? we underperformed among independents and moderates because their impression of many of the people in our party and leadership roles is that they're involved in chaos, negativity,

excessive attacks and it frightened independent and moderate republican voters and we saw that which is why you all recall i never predict ad red wave. elizabeth: so you heard that. what is going on with the swing voters and independent voters? are they going towards you? we're just tracking the polling there trying ascertain what's happen. is there concern in georgia among swing voters and independents with your race or warnock's race? where do you come down? >> what is going on with them you know they spent a lot of money in my race. we are virtually tied. meant i'm getting out, i'm meeting people, telling the people what i stand for. what senator warnock stands for. i don't think everyone want to have high taxes. they don't want their taxes raised. people want to keep their money in the pocket. i don't think everybody want to have high gas prices. i don't think everybody want to have high grocery prices or

utility bills. elizabeth: how do you feel about trump's endorsement? >> i think that is the problem right there. right now trump is running for president. he says he is running for president. i'm running for the senate here in georgia. this is not trump's race this is walk walk arrest race. president trump endorsed me. i thank him for it. leader mcconnell endorsed me i thank him for it. herschel walker is running the race. they have seen me out on the stump. seen me telling them what i will do. i'm the fighter fighting for the people of georgia. elizabeth: okay. >> no one has fought for them since senator warnock got into office. i'm the fighter. that is what i got to do. elizabeth: we have one final question, warnock and democrats are suing for an extra day of early voting on the saturday, not just a monday after thanks giving. georgia law prohibits that around a holiday because there is not enough pole workers given the difficult getting poll workers on a holiday. what is your take when they're trying to do that, final word? >> my tank is you don't change

more than $11 billion in damages. now lawmakers on capitol hill are looking where all the money went. >> they need to be held accountable. i think a whole lot of them have to explain what they have done. reporter: bankman-fried was not just a crypto king but also a democratic megadonor. this election bankman-fried was largest donor after george soros shelling out 3million dollars this cycle. 92% of those donations going to democratic candidates. do you think lawmakers that got donation's from ftx's founder should give the money back? >> i don't want to get into that. as a matter of fact both sides and democrats an republicans received donations. thank you. reporter: liz. elizabeth: hillary vaughn, thanks for your reporting. brian styles, congressman, bitcoin foundation president brock pierce, hillary vaughn 92% of the ftx donations went to

democrats maxine waters says it is 50-50. what do you say to this. >> we'll have a government that is accountable to look into this in d.c. we have horrible two years of lack of accountability and oversight in the financial services committee. the committee with oversight over these types of businesses. we have to actually bring people before us. we have to hold people accountable. in this case with this company, a lot of people lost a lot of money. elizabeth: yeah. >> there are people hurt all across the country. elizabeth: it is being called, you know, brock, a ponzi scheme fraud like an enron-style ponzi scheme fraud in a crypto wrapper. then we're seeing you know, it's high-profile celebrities. we just reported that. but ftx apparently had a revolving door strategy of hiring government workers including at the cftc. is that what you're seeing throughout your industry? >> i mean this is a very unique case and obviously an incredible

tragedy and i think the enron analogy is appropriate. there was a real underlying business here and they were playing balance sheet games and tapping into customer funds. over a million people have been impacted by this. clearly they were very cozy with government. sam bankman-fried was the second largest donor to the biden campaign in 2020, the fifth largest donor in the midterm elections and, basically being the self-anointed individual to try to tell regulators what they should do. clearly they had very close relationships with regulators and candidates and elected officials. >> to brock's point, congressman, it shows how swami and cushy it gets with these big donors. show the viewer who got money from ftx and sam bankman-fried. you're going to see the future forward pac. you are going to see chuck schumer, house majority pac. dcc, congressional campaign committee for the democrats,

senatorial campaign. 27 million to protect our future pac. millions of dollars to democrats in at least a dozen states, congressman. time and again, this is, this is a story that has been out there for generations. i mean you say you want to hold people accountable but then this blows up. >> it is because people have not been held accountable. we have not had the proper oversight in the financial services committee we need. one of the questions we all have why is the company in the bahamas in the first place and not in the united states? we need to have innovation here in the united states and then bring folks before us and actually hold them accountable. again the financial services committee found themselves asleep at the wheels. the good news will have republicans with gavels on january 3rd in washington. elizabeth: to your point, if they're based in the bahamas isn't that against the law to be giving donations out of the bahamas to politicians in d.c.? >> well, there is a lot of questions going on. one who is giving the donations? where are they at? exactly the questions that should be asking is why are they

in the bahamas in the first place? why are these companies not in the united states? how do we get a regulatory framework in the u.s. that is encouraging crypto innovation here in a safe and productive manner rather than the risky behavior it appears this company was involved in. elizabeth: brock what do you say to what the congressman is saying all that is going on? you look at their balance sheet, it is like cobwebs this could be a 16 billion-dollar fraud. the leverage is 10 to one. this is not as big as 10 ron and madoff. i covered corporate accounting scandals with the "wall street journal." front edge of worldcom, had a piece of enron. when i'm looking at their balance sheet, brock, it is really shady stuff. >> well i couldn't agree more with what the congressman said. this is an opportunity if we get the right regulation if we get the right policy. it all comes down to that. if done correctly a lot of people are questioned about

that target store in downtown l.a. just after 6:20 last night when according to police a homeless man walked into the target, grabbed a knife from a shelf and approached a nine-year-old boy saying repeatedly he was going to kill him. the attacker then targeted a 25-year-old woman. after that the homeless man apparently moved towards the front of the store where an armed security guard stepped in. as the man moved towards him, still holding the knife, the security guard fired, hitting the attacker in the stomach and killing him. both victims thankfully survived. the nine-year-old boy is in stable condition. the 25-year-old woman was listed this morning as in critical but guarded condition. liz? elizabeth: jonathan hunt, thanks so much for your reporting there. joining us so much security expert, retired nypd officer bill stanton along with fox news

such thing as small crime. it is all the same. >> you know, so what you do do, bill stanton to bill mcgurn's point? cvs says it was hit with 300% increase in theft. rite aid, millions of dollars in losses, home depot. all these guys are locking up products. that is a terrible thing to do, bill stanton. do you throw the book at them? do you lower dollar amount misdemeanor a hundred dollars, anything above that is a felony? >> well, no, even misdemeanors, dat, you lock criminals up. it is called law enforcement. what certain politicians seem to be doing is they're taking the enforcement out of the law enforcement. as we saw, with that homeless person, very well may have gone in there to shoplift but then you see enhanced crimes, you see things escalate. small crimes will many times turn into bigger crimes. while our politicians have bodyguards, are locked up in
