they're sitting on honey pot endowments the size of wall street hedge funds. >> i will give you a perfect example. cornell university where i graduated. when i graduated it cost $16,000 to go. now you're paying over 60,000 to go. last year alone they realized 42% in returns on their investments. now they're sitting on a 10 billion-dollar endowment and yet they're using taxpayer dollars to pay for that increase in scholarships. they're using the taxpayer dollars to pay for increase that they continue to charge tuition. it is all going on our backs while they're sitting on $10 billion endowment. >> i want to show this. i want to show this. university presidents make more than governors of many of these states, congresswoman. so it is again, the middle class is getting slammed. you know working families are getting slammed by basically racketeering between these colleges, moving in lockstep to raise average tuition costs like

70,000 a year. you know how that unfair that is to our 20-year-olds, people graduating from college, when you know, it is so wrong. and where is the racketeering antitrust lawsuit against these universities who pay no taxes often. they don't have to pay little to know taxes. they're nonprofits. it is not there final word. >> even better yet those people not able to go to college because they couldn't afford it because of skyrocketing tuition. they couldn't afford it. they're pating for other peoples few wilkes. it is completely unfair. the administration is out of touch.
