change your life. he ran for governor in georgia this year. he ran for senate two years ago, forced a run are ioff then. he's going to give us his take. shane hazel is back. alexandra, i will start with you. i don't think this is a repudiation of the republican party at all. i think there were a lot of people who were looking for some sanity and some sort of change. i think that these candidates that the former president endorsed in these critical races, i think he were garbage. >> yeah. look, i mean, i think it's impossible to call this a e piewduation of the republican party, because when you look at the state of georgia and the other republicans who ran statewide with, they won with comfortably back in november. and these aren't moderate squishes either, right? these are people who have run as conservatives, who have governed as conservatives. so, you know, i think that you have to look at the candidate in question here, and i think people wanted to believe in herschel walker. but at the end of the day, there

was just too muching baggage. and this was baggage we can did know about in the primary, that we knew about long ago. and i think people are saying to themselves i have enough of my own drama, my own baggage, you know? the economy is hurting my family, i'm worried about my kids many school, i don't need somebody here who's going to take more of that drama, more of that chaos to washington. and i thinkable, ultimately, it was suburban, independent female voters who really made that call. kennedy: yeah. they didn't have a problem voting for brian kemp. but, you know, chris, it was these candidates. now, i want to know on the doozy scale, where does herschel walker sit in terms of the nutty candidates that the former president endorsed? because i think it goes to the fact that there are still a lot of people who appreciate his policies and where we were economically three years ago a when he was president, but they are so sick of chaos and the b.s. and the hypocrisy and the

distractions that they can't stomach any more of it. these times are far too serious. so on that a scale, you know, you've got kari lake and blake masters, dr. oz, where does herschel walker sit? >> i think the kari lake was the absolute worst. i think -- kennedy: you love her. >> -- herschel walker was a close second, but his name recognition in georgia, i think, actually made it a lot closer than it should have been given how he presented himself. look, i agree with a lot of your previous guest's analysis. the thing that she missed though is kemp distanced himself from trump. the rest of the republican party is going to have a very hard time even going forward distancing themselves from trump the. he is -- trump. he is a lead weight around the republicans, and until they the absolutely repudiate him, they will absolutely have similar losses like the ones they a faced in georgia, like what hay faced in arizona, in pennsylvania. he is a problem for them, and they to own it because they have not done enough to walk away from him.

kennedy: well, i think if he is, in fact, the nominee, i don't see that happening at point, i really don't. i think this has been a pretty clear message if from voters that, yes, they appreciate some trumpism policies, but they are so done with the guy. and i think we're all done with crazy old white guys running our lives. so, shane, let me ask you this because chase oliver was the candidate who, you know, forced the runoff just as you did two years ago. but you take the libertarian out of the equation. so, you know, the republicans are very mad at a these libertarian candidates who spoil these races, but you take the libertarian out, and the republican still doesn't win. so what do you chalk that up to? >> boy, when you look at who turned out for this election, i think this is real story, you had only 50.49% of the electorate turn out for entire runoff. that is astounding. that means that about 75% of

georgia said we're not interested in any of these guys, right? we're not interested in warnock, we're not interested in herschel, we don't need any of these guys. these guys are not doing anything, they've got no class. i think right now in terms of what's going on here in georgia, there is absolute pandemonium, chaos and panic within the gop because it's not a trump sate, it's really kind of not a kemp state, and the gop is floundering finding serious candidates. they're running people like herschel walker, and that's the best that they can do? you're going to see more and more people say either i'm going to vote for the libertarian, i'm going to stay home, or i'm just not going to participate in this entire election system which a lot of people here in georgia think is rigged anyway. and, you know, to be one of those people that's been in these the races, i gotta tell you, there's a lot of home cooking in the state, there's a lot of force and coercion. and here's the thing is, it's both democrats and republicans.

kennedy: retail theft is out of control in blue states and cities, but its law-abiding citizens will end up paying the price. walmart ceo doug mcmillan said tuesday that if the crime wave can't be contained, well, be prepared for some holiday price hikes and store closures. that's fun. >> theft is an issue. it's higher than what it's historically been. and we've got safety measures, security measures that we put in place. >> criminals won't be prosecuted below certain levels. does that matter?

>> if that's not corrected over time, prices will be higher and/or stores will close. kennedy: we've already seen it in places like san francisco, l.a., new york city. this philadelphia gas station hiring armed guards to scare away thieves. so is this the new cost of doing business in a democrat stronghold? joining me now to discuss,s the anchor of "fox news at night" on the fox news channel, trace gallagher. oh, my god, trace, this problem is only getting worse. >> yeah. and you just think about, in just the span of a couple of weeks, kennedy, you talked about walmart, also target sounding the alarm on retail theft and how it's costing them hundreds of millions of dollars in losses. target wants state lawmakers to help crack down on shoplifters, especially the organized retail theft. that's where you have these gangs kind of coming into stores totally unbothered by anybody, and they load up on thousands of dollars in merchandise. last week you had thieves going

into an apple store, right, in silicon valley, and they walked out with thousands. i mean, $40,000 in stuff. the criminals are still on the run, but as you know, the merchandise has likely been sold on the internet. the only real solution seems to be, apparently, for retailers to either shut down stores like cvs did in san francisco and wawa stores have done in philadelphia, and then you have neighborhoods that lose these stores, and it's a hit. but, man, when you talk about a walmart or a target leaving your neighborhood, that is a huge blow. it takes away medicine, easy access to that, household items, and it also takes away jobs. but that's what these people are looking at. bottom line they're saying, listen, the whole thing is the stores are not the only victims. the people who live in these neighborhoods are also victims. kennedy: absolutely right. and they need these places. they need places where they can clip coupons and save money and, you know, get their first jobs and finally get into the economy and, you know, those are the

bastions that they formerly have turned to. but also with the defund the police movement, a lot of underserved communities don't have the proactive community policing they did in the past. and in places like california where you live, you know if you steal anything under $900, it's a misdemeanor. so, and thieves know that as well. they know they can go in and take what they want, and these stores have telegraphed that they're not going to put their security and other employees in harm's way, and they're not going to go after thieves. so why 'em wouldn't you go for the free-for-all? why would you not go for the target buffet? >> it's like crossing the border, right? if the border's open, why would you not cross it? if you walk into a cvs, even if they can afford security guards, the security guards are not going to bother you which is interesting when you showed the pictures of philadelphia and you had that convenience store and the owner's so fed up, he hires the guys with the ar-15s to

guard around them? the funny thing about this is, kennedy, this guy was hit repeatedly, right? he hires these people x he has not been bothered one time. and you notice why there are certain places in florida that don't have nearly the retail crime that we have in california and new york? it's because they have those laws, they have the right to be able to defend themselves. and when you have the right to defend themselves and the law states that, you know, anything under $950 is not really a crime, you can expect to have less crime in your retail the stores than in places like california and philadelphia and washington state. and it goes on and on. kennedy: yeah. i mean, i feel bad for the mom and pop shops because places like target anding walmart, they have the ear of lawmakers, you know? they've got pr departments. they can advocate for themselves. but you've got these little shops, they can't hire security, they certainly can't kiss all their inventory good-bye. what do they do in this climate?

>> and that's the key, because it's the mom and pop shops that have to rely on insurance, right in they're insured, but they can't afford the insurance rate because they get hit five or six times. the targets and the walmarts of the world can pay the insurance, sometimes they're self-insured, but the mom and pop shops, they have to rely on the insurance, and the rates keep going up, and it's pushing them out of business. it's the retail theft and the insurance costs that continually go up. that is what's costing these small businesses their livelihood. kennedy: yeah. and lower income earners, guess what they're going to be paying? higher insurance rates and higher prices for things they could normally get for a cheaper price at places like target and walmart. we're all kind of hosed. but you are like a warm cup of cocoa. every night on the fox news channel, we'll be watching tonight. thank you. >> thank you, kennedy. kennedy: uh-huh. meanwhile, "time" magazine naming volodymyr zelenskyy its

putin is a proven bad actor, and his invasion of ukraine is a proven bad thing. you know, any administration would be many a tough spot once this happened -- would be in a tough spot. the pressure from within and without to aid ukraine is one thing. the pressure to do it in a way that doesn't provide weapons to our enemies or embellish the pro-american stance of a country being invaded. all of the questions that people that are now looked at as outliers, conspiracy theorists or what have you, the rand pauls of the world that are isolationist, all their questions are completely valid. there are people in the military that are incredibly concerned with where some of the weapons ended up, and the hands they ended up and who's going to know what our arsenal looks like from the inside out now. those are all valid. our government does a great job of spending money. unfortunately, they're not good at much else. so when we armed the ukrainians, which is a great thing in sound and verbally, but the practical

application has been anything but logistically sound, and that's a concern. on top of that, if you're just going to name a person of the year, i see why it's zelenskyy, i do. how about elon musk? whether you love him or hate him, who's changed the world more in the last 10 years than probably he has? he provided starlink to ukraine when they had their war. he just bought twitter, the world's preeminent -- at least in the ruling class -- communication platform. and if you want to go down from there, pete davidson's probably going to be responsible for a lot of the art that influences our culture with all his ex-girlfriends, and if you want to be serious about it, what about ennis freedom? who stood up to china and the nba and just spoke the truth and gave up his family and his job to do it? kennedy: yes. and he knew what he was up against. that is an incredibly brave person -- >> yeah, absolutely. kennedy: -- doing something that lebron james would never have the nards to do.

i'm so incredibly proud of the way he has stood up against tyranny and authoritarianism. >> absolutely. kennedy: not just in his native turkey, but also the chinese communist party and even some of the baffoons here in the united states that you pointed out. i would like to see rapen -- iranian women shouted out as women of the year and talk about people who are truly risking their liveses, and they're doing it every day taking to the streets. and they know it is tantamount to a death sentence, what they are doing, and i think that they deserve some recognition. >> if i'm not mistaken, i believe "time" magazine labeled them hero of the year, so i applaud them for that. i'm a fair person, and it's not just about, you know, dragging out the crag of "time" -- the rag of "time" magazine. but that's a consolation prize. they don't publicize it the same way, and i think maybe if they had the chance to reverse those two, i think a lot of people would be happy with it.

and the lightning networks to make sure that people have a decentralized type of platform for everybody to communicate without rulers to each other and fix that baseline communications protocol. this is absolutely a slow motion, nuclear intelligence bomb going off. think about what facebook, what social media is in general in terms of twitter and the rest of it. this is a historical time-keeping apparatus for anybody who engages with this. now, if you were smart and you played the long game, you probably -- like jack dorsey did or saw, what you're going to see over time is this huge explosion, and we're not going to know exactly who gets hit, who gets absolutely wiped out and who is left standing. i think the people that were good actors are going to be left standing. i think the people that have a little bit of courage and stand up and join the ranks of people like elon, possibly jack dorsey, are going to figure out the system very fast. the people that are pulling the

strings, it's not the democrats and are republicans, it's not the corporations, it's the bank withs. and whoever pushes things like esg, the imf, whoever pushes the new world economic forum and this great reset in terms of cbds, these are the people who are pulling the strings, and each and everyone in congress and the senate -- kennedy: well, i agree with you on decentralization. i would like to see decentralization everywhere. i also agree with you about transparency. that doesn't hurt anyone. and that goes for julian assange as well. new, disturbing claims about the health and human services department, this is fun. a whistleblower says hhs is knowingly placing migrant kids with criminals and sex traffickers. now republican senators commanding answers in -- demanding answers writing, quote: congress must immediately take action to stop the atrocities. this whistleblower claims are being committed by the federal government itself.

the senate committee on homeland security and twoftal affairs -- governmental affairs must call a hearing to further investigate these whistleblower claims. so is this border problem enough for president biden to finally pay attention, al a sandra? -- alexandra? >> you would think so, but he was just in arizona yesterday and said that there were more important things to do than visiting the border. so i think what's laughable is that democrats claim to be the humane ones in opening up the border and allowing migrants to come across when this has become a humanitarian crisis, when this has become a place where precious children, women and girls are sold into slavery, essentially, traffic thed across the border. and the cartels are the ones that are winning here. so i think that it's just, it's absolutely disgusting, what is happening down there. i think we need immediate accountability, and i'm hopeful that at least with republicans in charge of the house, this is something that we can start to see in the new term. kennedy: yeah.

we are doing everything wrong, chris, especially in terms of harming kids. and, you know, you can't -- it's hard to make a case for hhs when you hear something like this and, you know, a vast majority of the whistleblowers who have come out in recent years -- not all of them, but most of them by a long shot, they have been right. and we need to take a much harder look at the federal government which, you know, if this is true and they're placing these vulnerable kids who have been separated from their parents to enrich the coyotes with criminals, what the hell do you do about it? >> yeah. look, that's something we should look into. i'm dubious on the use of the word knowingly in senator johnson's statement which, you know, i don't really trust the senator johnson on anything. but i don't want to see kids trafficked. i want to make sure that that is the looked into. i think the federal government should, the biden administration, i think the senate and the house should hold

hearings and find out what's going on. if there's a significant trafficking problem, it should be addressed. kennedy: i agree completely. and, you know, i think it's very interesting that you are more invested in bad mouthing ron johnson than figuring out if kids are being placed with criminals and sex traffickers. that's the most important thing, not this guy -- >> you know what? when somebody cries sex trafficking everybody other day, it's kind of hard. he's cried wolf a lot, and i'm dubious, because i haven't seen -- kennedy: do you take her to task for that? >> look, look into it, but the word knowingly, that the federal government is knowingly doing this, i have a problem with that. i think that's a little bit over the top, and i think that's just meant to get us talking about i- kennedy: yeah. we should trust the federal government, right, shane? they would never knowingly put anyone in harm's way with, would they? >> yeah. the democrats and republicans have both had supermajorities,

a i know a lot of people who applied, they got that e-mail, and it was the all a complete farce. do you think when they launched -- i say the program, but it was an executive order -- did they know that it was illegal and it would be challenged? >> they had to know there would be legal challenges, and one of their top arguments in this briefing that hay filed with the supreme court trying to get these lower court rulings to put the whole thing on hold to get those tossed out so so the program could start again, part of the argument was, hey, so many people have relied on that, now they don't know what to do, they don't know they should pay or not pay, so you need to let the program go forward which is, you know, a tough argument to make. because then the executive branch. , whether it's a republican or democrat, could decide at any point i'm going to start this program. i know it's going to get challenged in court, and i'm just going to say, well, we can't get rid of it now, so the supreme court's going to have to wade through all of that stuff. i don't think they're going to find that as the most persuasive

argument. kennedy: given the makeup of the court, how could they potentially come down on this? is there a way of kicking it back to the lower courts even though you had a split decision in one? >> anything is possible, but here's what i would predict: this court, whether it's the obama administration, the trump administration and now the biden administration, has not been big fans of what they see as an overreach of power by the executive branch. he was told previous presidents and other executive agencies, you can't do this. this is probably something leavitt for congress. you can't just use your pen, your paper and your phone and conduct major policy changes that way. i think they're going to be pretty skeptical about this. remember when the cdc during covid said, well, now we're just going to tell the everybody that evictions are over because there's covid emergency, and now we're going to say nobody can get kickeded out if they can't pay their rent. the court said this is something left for congress, you can't just make these sweeping, federal agency, decisions or decisions from the white house. i tend to think given their

recent years and precedent that they're going to say no go on this student loan program, at least not in the form that it's been done by the white house. kennedy: yeah, i think you're absolutely right. it's just too big, it's too much money. and you can't have president after president picking a pet project in order to appeal to a group of voters and then just spending billions is and billions of dollars and putting that on the backs of taxpayers who don't benefit prosecute program who didn't go to college. it is a horrible precedent for future presidents, and i think you are absolutely right. was this just a quick grab for votes on the part of the president and the administration? >> yeah. and even, you know, not conservative, right-leaning organizations like "the washington post" had a piece about in that said -- because you know for now while the legal stuff is playing out, the administration has extended through probably roughly june, and the washington post is saying this is starting to look
