hi, i'm katie, i've lost 110 pounds on golo in just over a year. golo is different than other programs i had been on because i was specifically looking for something that helped with insulin resistance. i had had conversations with my physician indicating that that was probably an issue that i was facing and making it more difficult for me to sustain weight loss. golo has been more sustainable. i can fit it into family life, i can make meals that the whole family will enjoy. it just works in everyday life as a mom. >> will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people san francisco. >> what is this don't bother me with a question like that, really. really, okay. david: don't bother her, she's only the house speaker. nancy pelosi snapping out of reporter after the journalist

asked her to commit to a two-year term despite the longtime democrat telling the press that the leadership press conference may be the last, joining me congressman byron donalds from house oversight report committee and gop strategist ford o'connell, great to see you, happy friday. congressman pelosi essentially is gone, she's obviously not going to be as active and she's not speaker for one thing. are republicans ready to take over. do you have a speaker, are you confident you have a speaker? >> were getting get the business done on january 3. i'm not concerned about that at all. they think i'm mostly concerned about is what our senate republicans doing why are you helping the democrats passed a nine year omnibus package. it's going to stop her ability to secure the border that's the thing that secures me. >> i have to agree 100% with the congressman i don't understand what the senators are doing and the republicans, from the wall street journal just heard mcconnell senator mcconnell say goodbye to pat lahey and said

like good appropriators, we also bonded over a firm mutual conviction that our true opponent was never each other it was the house. what kind of language is that for unity among republicans. >> congressman donald is absolutely right, they need to understand who they represent the represent the american people, they do not represent democrats in the senate and they should be getting and understanding that essentially we have a spending problem with a lot of problems in this country in helping democrats is not going to help the american people. david: a lot of the senate republicans are acting like democrats or worse. if you look at the earmarks of what we used to call pork which is spending you get the federal taxpayers to pay for stuff that you should be spending inside of the state. most of the offenders on this, senator shelby, senator graham, et cetera over $656 million for senator shelby.
6:59 pm
there republicans and their doing the pork spending, is that right? >> no it's absolutely wrong, senator shelby served a long time, thank you for your service to the country. but to take the money out the door and cut a deal with the worst president in our history which extends his agenda another nine months is selling everybody out, that's what it is. there's one senator that can put a stop to it mitch mcconnell. come on mitch time to get to work. david: is there going to be any debate whether mitch mcconnell should continue his leader. >> i guess he's already become the leader again by his own caucus. unfortunately mitch mcconnell is leading america into greater decline than the democrats. congressman donald is right we have to get inflation under control unlocked on the border and fight for the american people. not doing the business lobby and the democrats bidding. >> congressman do you feel saturday mcconnell's boyfriend to his fellow senators then he has to republicans in the house?
7:00 pm
>> i certainly do i think they were concerned about keeping the commodity of the senate going than actually finding the role of the people at this point. the american people have called for a divided government, they don't want more action, they want the border secured, that's what this election did. for cnn and house democrats going to the podium feigning outrage of what's happening on the southern border is an absolute joke but the senate republicans can stop this right now if they say no to the package and due to a short-term deal. david: byron donalds, ford o'connell, thank you for coming in on a friday evening. i am david asman emperor elizabeth macdonald. you're watching "the evening edit" on fox business. have a wonderful weekend. ♪ from the fox studio in new york city, this is "maria bartiromo wall street". >> happy weekend all, welcome to the program that analyzes the week that was in helps position
