5:01 pm
no, i can't, no, i didn't, you know what i mean, larry in the. larry: yes, ma'am. elizabeth: larry, thank you so much. critics saying you want any more proof president biden cannot do it in the real time, he launched his 2024 the races on a youtube video. he talks a lot about unity, but it was divisive, sour. he bashed gop voters, failed to mention a single accomplishment, no vision, no optimism. let's get to former george w. bush speech writer, bill mcgurn, and former top economic adviser, steven moore. bill, what did you think of speech today? >> well, i think it was pretty typical, you know in joe biden sees himself as the dethe fender of democracy -- defender of democracy. when he looks at enemies of america, he doesn't look abroad, you know? he talks about bag georgia republicans -- maga republicans in terms that he wouldn't talk about the chinese, north koreans, iranians or maybe even russians.
5:02 pm
so i think it's very negative. it's certainly not what he promised when he first got elected. but i think that that's his strategy. to win again, he can't talk about his achievements, because i don't think there really are any except getting things, some things passed and spending all this money. so he has to paint a picture of this very dark america where where this group of fellow americans are sinister and extremist and, you know, white nationalists and all sorts of things. and he's standing between us and them. i don't know if the public will bite, but, you know, i might want to talk about that too if i had to talk about my economic record the way joe biden -- [laughter] elizabeth: good point. so what, steve, what bill just said, he's attacking americans. americans out in the real world don't see the reality that biden painted a picture of.
5:03 pm
and, steve, he's saying give him four more years. for what? a majority don't want him to run. seven out of ten say the u.s. is heading in the wrong drefntle he's talking about his economic vision, but what's that vision, more inflationary government spending, tax cuts, more irs is agents? >> well, you know what's so interesting about this, liz, is that the people that are really hyperventilating right now are democrats. all of my democratic friends here mt. swamp of washington, d.c -- in the swamp of washington, d.c. are terrified at the idea of biden at the top of the ticket. they realize that he could take down the whole party. and by the way, not just because of his dismal record that bill was just talking about. i mean, that's pretty clear. but also, i mean, "wall street journal" editorial page where bill works is quite correct, you know, whether liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, i mean, let's face it, you know, he has -- we're all getting older, but as you get older, your mental faculties diminish, and i think people
5:04 pm
have a hard time even imagining four more years of biden. i loved the editorial by gerry baker today in the quite journal which said four more years, it sounds like a prison sentence. [laughter] elizabeth: oh, man. whoa. that is a pretty good line there, steve moore. and, you know, bill, what steve was just saying, "the washington post" reports the average of eight national polls, six out of ten democrats don't want him to run are. trump had seven out of ten saying, yes, trump, run. obama had two out of ten saying -- let's listen to the democrat congressman jim clyburn acknowledging all of that. watch this. >> i think the president is going to have to deal with the whole issue of age. he is 80 years old. i might add i'm 82. i do believe that he's up to the task, and that is something that we just cannot pretend is not on people's minds.
5:05 pm
is so i think he has to show the energy that he's been showing over the past several months. elizabeth: you know, bill, can joe biden go out on the campaign trail when he is unwilling to do a press conference or talk to, even talk to reporters? he's already the oldest president in u.s. history. he'll be 86 if he wins at end of his term. >> no, i don't think he can. everyone is seeing what i think is real decline. i don't know the reason for it. but you think putin sees it too and xi jinping. i don't think they're intimidated by him. you know, i don't think the american people it's just an age thing. if they felt there was real benefit for them, that they're feeling the effort of all this spending apart from inflation, they might, you know, they might not be worried. but what do they see? they feel, their real wages diminish. biden said he wouldn't tax
5:06 pm
anyone i think over -- under 400,000? he's putting inflation in, and all these things that cost average workers, and they have less buying power than they did -- elizabeth: he's blaming ukraine, he's blaming the pandemic shutdowns. you're not buying that. you're saying it's the massive amount of government spending and federal money printing, principal reserve, right? >> yeah. look at inflation -- look at inflation. yes, it's way down from last summer, but it's a lot higher, i think it's still, like, three times higher than when he came into office. elizabeth: yeah, it's multiple times higher. now at nearly 15% all in. >> and that has implications -- elizabeth: right. >> -- for what people can afford at stores, their dreams, college, everything. elizabeth: that's true. you know, five senate races are up for grabs in this race. multiple house races too in all districts that biden -- only won by less than three percentage
5:07 pm
points, steve. you know, we talked yesterday politico reported in 2016 obama said -- obama wanted hillary in 2016. in to 2012 the obama campaign reportedly kept biden off the campaign trail because of his frequent mistakes. let's watch this. watch this. >> as president, i get to pick projects, i get to fund projects from the money that we get from the congress. think how many people have no idea what the hell -- heck a supply chain was. [laughter] and by the way, jonah hayes -- where are you? there you are, jonah, right in front of me. stand up, jonah. let me start off with two words, made in america. in 2018 when they tried -- we went to 54 states. more than half the women in my cabinet, more than half the people in my cabinet, more than half the women in my administration are women. jackie, are you here? jackie, where are you?
5:08 pm
it's also kamala's birthday. a great president. think about what you'd think about. >> how would you say your mental focus is? >> oh, it's focused. [laughter] elizabeth: by the way, of it was johanna hayes, calling on a congresswoman who had died in a car crash. steve, your final word on all of this. >> well, you left out one of my favorite ones just a week or two ago. he said he's created 12,500 job, and that's more jobs than any president in history. [laughter] look, it's not good for the country. it's not good for the country that joe biden is running. and i'm saying this as a republican who would like to run against joe biden. they hope, the democrats simply hope that they can make this election about donald trump -- elizabeth: right. >> but elections are always about the incumbent, and this is going to be a thumbs up or thumbs down about joe biden, and when you've got 70% of the people saying the country's going in the wrong direction, boy, i don't like those odds for the democrats. elizabeth: thank you so much.

joe concha, first, good to see you, gentlemen. mr. tolman, first to you, fox digital reporting secretary of state antony blinken held a meeting with hunter bide ant state department in july 20 a 15 when he was obama's secretary of state and he had been e-mailing hunter while he was on the board of the energy firm barista, but then antony blinken is basically trying to tell the world things like, oh, the hunter biden laptop information is russian disinformation, that he's behind orchestrating that with former top cia official michael morrell and those intelligence officials for the 2020 election. where do you come down on all of this? >> you know, liz, thanks for having me on. when we remove transparency and accountability, then we know what happens with government. i think president reagan summed it up, government becomes the problem. the power is not just in a vacuum to be grabbed, it's attained when we take away that
5:10 pm
transparency. and if you have no fear that you're going on the held accountable for something, you start to see the revelations we're seeing about the biden family. and about how twisted and warped their sense of fairness and their sense of misconduct and their ethics, and is it all goes along with that lack of transparency and accountability. elizabeth: you know, what fred just said, joe, where do you come down on? because the media's not reporting what the house gop probe is finding, you know, about the biden family. you know, it's a corruption probe in the house. you know, we had hostile foreign powers, china and russia, lavishing millions of dollars on the biden family buying influence. but the media are not covering it, joe. >> it's the forbidden fruit of journalism, i guess, liz. a third rail that they will not touch just like they didn't touch it before the 2020 election after that new york post bombshell came out. think about what this means, by the way. a future secretary of state in tony blinken sets in motion something that is actually worse
5:11 pm
than watergate. i hate to go all carl bernstein on you here, but think about what happened here. a presidential campaign, working many concert with 51 former top intelligence officials who, without seeing the evidence, the access to the laptop itself all in unison come to the conclusion that it must be russian disinformation, it came from the kremlin. today didn't say it because they necessarily believed that, they were trying to manipulate the electoral system themselves. you want to talk about collusion, social media from there, they cent censor -- censor accounts that share the story, engage in the type of behavior that would make pyongyang proud, and then the final baton is passed to traditional media who outside of this network and a small handful of others worked to squash and mock and dismiss this bombshell. if that isn't an attack on democracy9 and the electoral positive, i don't know -- process, i don't know what is. it's obviously being slow-walked to extend past the 2024 the will election so swamp and social media and traditional media can
5:12 pm
install this president again, liz. elizabeth: we're looking at the data coming in from newsbusters. in the first two weeks of march, the networks according to newsbusters spent zero minutes on the biden family investigations, you know, four and a half hours on trump. but, yes, trump was facing an indictment by the manhattan d.a.. that that's being called a troubled case. but democrat congressman brad sherman even saying it's obvious to everybody that somebody who was pro-biden organized the letter from the 51 u.s. intelligence officials and that blinken was playing a role in the campaign to orchestrate that to say that the hunter biden laptop was russian disinformation when president biden knew all along that it was true, it was his laptop. >> well, and think about it, i think joe is exactly right. i appreciated his comments. i also think there's one other rail, there's one other, you know, hurdle that they pose in order to, you know, pull off this sort of, you know,
5:13 pm
corruption. and that is you have to then go on the offense and attack anybody that's trying to blow the whistle on it. look what they're doing to whistle blowers that are coming forward. look how they're attacking and treating media personalities that want to expose the corruption. and then look what they're saying in congress about individuals that are trying to expose this, and their plan is to cancel them, right? that is the last straw for them in terms of how they get away with that corruption. and we have to be there and resist it. elizabeth: you know, by the way, that was other critics saying that, basically, you know, what was going on, joe, with the biden family corruption that, you know, critics were saying the president when he was running in 2020 had to have known it was hunter biden's happen op. brad sherman did not say. that i just want to be clear about that. andrew mccarthy, joe, he's raising this question: even lower level government officials who need security clearances got, they got to report all their foreign transactions and
5:14 pm
contacts. and he's asking did the biden family do that? did hunter biden do that? did joe biden reveal what his family was doing? >> well, the bank receipts and laptop appear to show that these things happened. under the trump administration, so many scandals were he said/she said, a source close to the president or white house, could be white house chef for all we know. in this case we have actual receipts and documentation of clearly influence peddling happened with our biggest adversary in china and ukraine which we've given tens of billions of dollars to in what seems to be a never ending war because that is in a stalemate and doesn't seem to be moving anywhere. the media can ignore this all they want, but once the indictments start coming, i have a feeling they won't be able to anymore. 272 minutes to trump and 0 to biden? if you couldn't give me 30 seconds of coverage on this?
