the interest rate hikes, all of this combined and feel like you may have made a mistake for being so cautious? >> we've been cautious a year end a half and when you look back if you are being objected, you will always have mistakes in hindsight. from the management, even with this rally, is still not where it was when we got accused for our clients but one mistake i was say we did make was miscalculating how reckless the government was going to be and backstopping banks and trying to add additional stimulus to delay the inevitable and that turn was in march and what i should recognize if i'm being objected with myself as we always are as we push ourselves to be the best at what we do is when they came in to save the banks, the market was heading down to new lows and the backstop they did a raised about six months worth so we should recognize that would

collect stimulus and put the backdrop to the market so it's a mistake made and that's on us but just a near-term fix. >> you pointed out never underestimate the ability for government to spend a lot of money. let's move on, the big question is, what are you buying? >> we've been waiting for summer, we think we will dip in the summer that we will buy in the area we are looking at is small caps. we told clients in the beginning it provides a nice website, they traditionally leave when you get out of a bear market, still beating up so small caps, retail and energy sector and there will be a dip to get back in tech at some time but we are continuing to be patient and those of the run up. those small caps and energy spaces and retail i think are going to be even lower than today and october lows to get

new york mayor eric adams calling on residents to welcome migrants into their homes. medicine is following this st story. good morning, how exactly would the mayor's plan work? >> the city from the taxpayer would pay landlords and private residence to house migrants and their homes. it's important to note this is not official and the key focus,

why is that official is because of the landlord rights so new york city, if you live in the building 30 days, you become an official tenant. meaning to be evicted, you need to go through formal or process. if a person welcomes and asylum-seekers into their home and there is a problem under current new york city law, it would be difficult to have the person removed. like i said, it's not yet official but what is in terms of asylum-seekers and new yorkers, charges will be opening their doors to asylum-seekers. the city is teaming up with 50 houses of worship, paying them to host 19 single male migrants each night in their churches. they are the latest entity to open their doors to asylum-seekers. there are 143 hotels and nine humanitarian emergency response and release centers housing migrants. churches seem to be added to the list.

>> seeing hotel operators, churches and maybe even private landlords suddenly become essentially poverty, profiting off the price in ways we haven't seen. if you own a hotel, that's probably the time because it's good because if you want to make a contract with new york city. >> mayor adams says the city spent $1.2 billion on the crisis this fiscal year end projected to spend 4.3 billion by june 2024. since last spring, 72000 asylum-seekers have passed through new york city. by now, 46000 are currently in the care of the city. >> addison, thank you very much. of course they keep coming. nicole malliotakis is a republican from new york and she joins me to talk about this. good morning. i know you're not a fan of this plan, right? >> of course i'm not a fan, it is outrageous.

not only does new york city have a housing crisis, we have an affordability crisis. people renting apartments for thousands, people are having difficulty paying their mortgage, their rent and keeping up with property taxes and the mayor is telling hard-working taxpayers they need to pay so individuals who have crossed illegally into our border can live rent free. what planet are we living on? it's outrageous and the mayor i've said before, needs to challenge and he is by the way, finally after i've been calling him for years, the challenge to write to talk shelter law, it will go before a judge because it was intended for homeless new yorkers, citizens who go in difficult times, to give them shelter not for individuals who just entered our country last week or citizens of third countries and of course this will continue to incentivize individuals to come over, that's

what's going to happen, they keep coming because you give them free housing. >> what strikes me is the fact that for so long those people especially in new york and other cities far from the border, we are very critical of efforts to prevent people from coming illegally into the country, 2000 miles from where it was happening but now it's on the doorstep and they are getting a taste of what texas has been dealing with for years, a little bit of this is the reality of the situation. they change their mind, migration across the border. whatever happened to homeland security? >> you are right and the city post 9/11 world, new york city of all places should understand the dangers of having an open border. we found terrorists suspected fbi terror watch list attempting to cross over even in the interior we found them but in

addition, you have the fentanyl to kill millions of americans found on a regular basis, the drug cartel set up operations in cities and it needs to be stopped and can only be stopped if the president on does the policies he put in place and secures the border or the houses border security bill we passed last month and senator schumer has not passed our bill for his own bill so he has to do something so he can reconcile differences move forward so senate schumer doing something on border security, we will continue to see this crisis and we should not have a mayor who continues. with got the new york city council speaker, new york city finance chairman here lobbying more money continue to add shelter, so they can continue to provide housing for migrants. i'm not going to support that type of policy. we need to get border security and place and work with immigration, too. we should be addressing issues of jesus and judges and other

the headset was the big reveal, is that the next product for apple? >> this was pretty incredible for apple. twelve cameras, five sensors, six microphones, each display is 4k resolution. pixels are 23 microns in size. this is pretty big move for apple. it's not technology that will be adopted overnight. look at this, i wouldn't be caught dead wearing one but it won't be long before this will just look like normal reading glasses so i think this will push us into the future and goes well for apple stock and investors by apple on pullbacks. >> let's change subjects, target, a company lost 13 billion in market caps since the fiasco with the pride line. are you buying stock? what your take? >> we are not buying the stock. two weeks ago we sold all of our target positions and we had

particularly interesting is the full court of 15 judges decided on its own two we hear a decision that three judges on the panel made in december, the three judges ruled against these female runners competed in the state of connecticut and the lawyer for the female runners tells fox news it could be a positive sign for the case. look at these pictures of forerunners off of connecticut suing the connecticut association of schools to have the high school records updated to what they would have been at the transgender athletes not been competing. they want to overturn the policy that allows biological males to compete against females. his one router this morning. >> i raised against to biological males in high school and lost metals, podium spots, advanced opportunities and eventually i lost two awards and forced champions to these
