we'll see. we've talked about this, ashley, more than once. what people forget about president trump's nomination in 2016, yes, it was a big field but equally he talked about two isissues that were very importat to republican primary voters that year, which was a secure border and his being a businessman who could create jobs. for our next nominee, they're going to pitch one or two issues that ei ignite republican voters and go out and talk about solutions to those. and that's who's ultimately going to become our nominee in 2024. ashley: next one for you, david, i want your thoughts and nicky hail jy said if biden wins, kama harris will be president by the end of the term and let's get the response from the white house. i'll get your thoughts. >> this is a president that's been attacked during 2020 where people said, oh, no one will --

that he is up for the job. i mean, you think about one of the biggest concerns that americans have is the president is not up to being president. that his leadership skills have diminished to the level that he's not the right person to be in the white house. so they, the white house, want to show that he is. you're going to see this president in the rose garden a lot being presidential. ashley: i don't know if that's enough but we shall see. david, thank you for joining us this morning. we'll see you a lot i have a feeling over the next 18 months so look forward to it. stuart: me too. ashley: i find it fascinating stuff. mike murphy joining me this morning. great to see you, mike. the question i have for you right off the top, will big tech continue to lead this market? the megacap stocks and the very few stocks that have been leading the way. >> good morning, ash. great to see you.

big tech will continue to lead and this is where we're getting innovation and we've talked about it for years now. these are the companies, apple, look at amazon, microsoft, all though amazon sold off, it's now starting to rally. this is where you're getting the innovation from and you're going to see money continue to move for people who want to see continued eps growth, and that's what we're getting from big tech. so the point is for people watching at home, rather than trying to trade this or sell on rallies and buy on dips, they should be investing in big tech and staying long big tech for their future because -- future because this is the growth for now. tesla had a huge runup last september and then a selloff after elmore bought twitter and now a huge rally from the -- elon musk bought twitter and up to 220 and this is a company that's not just -- anyone that wants to argue that tesla should be priced like a four door gm is
