situation and how does governor desantis responds? >> they've all given a dement and governor desantis is one step forward with the plan to un-dew due the politicalization of the justice department early on. donald trump owes the republican primary voters to debate and he's afraid to debate and know what is he's upgangs and knows you have the chris christies and the will herd that would go right after him, but also don't think he wants to be in a situation where he has to talk about issues with governor desantis who has a track record that matches up pretty well and whether it's covid or the economy or anything else, but let me tell you also, let me agree with what doug said and the thing about the economy here and why it hearts and why i disagree with the assessment of the biden administration is the economy is the number one issue but not a jobs issue, neil. it's an inflation issue. even with the rate of inflation
12:14 pm
slowing and the feds raised rates and seeing paycheck go down and house payment go up and anyone that got a variable rate mortgage is in real trouble and that's the issue that's frustrating voters. today's job report is not good. if we slip into a recession, it's a double whammy out there and the ones with jobs are struggling to pay with things and if we go into a recession, the ones that don't have jobs won't be able to find them and it really puts bide anne donovan a tough spot and again, donald trump is the one candidate he could probably be and biden is so fortunate that trump is going through the situation right now because it probably helps him. neil: rates are higher and when you're in an increasing rate environment, as we could be even maybe up into election day, joe
