>> i don't think it does. donald trump should do this debate. he should do all the debates. even cnn has to acknowledge six years late that in those debates against 2020, in the biden family, this is his forte. in terms of giving an excuse for president biden not to debate is a red herring, doesn't make sense, these are primary debates run by the party. i understand trump's argument, his argument is he is the incumbent so shouldn't have to do these debates. look across the aisle. president biden is not doing debates. he's not going to debate rfk junior because he doesn't want to. that doesn't give him an excuse to get out of doing the general election. the general election debates

are very different and every incumbent president has to face his challenger if you wants to win reelection. i think this is an effort, you see it, ronna mcdaniel is trying to get donald trump to participate in the debate it is using every argument she can but this argument in the new york times and other places, starting to cover for president biden to set up an argument to get him out of having to debate donald trump because it is so embarrassing, he does have to debate whoever winds up being a republican. stuart: i think you are right. vice president harris is trying to reshape her image. in an interview she said you would've seen the same thing four years ago. it is always who i have been. i can't get into people's heads about things being one way or another. not as if i just found myself. i have always been here and

the wall street journal, they have an op-ed on trump. really took him to the cleaners. >> a pretty scathing piece including trump's decision to skip the debate shows you wants to avoid tussling with competitors because he thinks more presidents will nominate him for a third time without a real contest and they like that mr. trump is a fighter but for whom is he fighting, them or himself? they expect gop voters to nominate him, a primary debate much less real nominating contest. and new hampshire primary, perhaps mr. trump's presumption is repeated nominations in the past, in thrall to one man and suffered repeated losses before it, very scathing from the wall street journal. we will see. stuart: very scathing.

like to see spectacular earnings but not enough for the markets. a selloff in the stock, this ai trend is for vlans will keep going. expectations are moving around, could beat them but they are the tip of the sphere for this ai trend which is story this year. and ugly few weeks or months or so, 30% this year. stuart: in the past you told us about asm l, the machines which the ai ships from nvidia fit into. >> this is an unbelievable company. they have a monopoly on their machines. it has been described in the manufacturing process as a combination of magical miracles. it is a dutch company, no one will break them out without asm l machines. chips can't expand. blue one a dutch company? >> yes.

lauren: they are making huge concessions. this has been going on for a year and a half. to get this through, the cma in the uk and the ntc and the european commission, to get it through the uk, giving the french company streaming rights to activision games for 15 years. so they are able to license out the content to any cloud gaming provider and even with that, it is not certain that this deal is greenlighted in the uk. there is optimism, shares are higher by 1.4%, microsoft should be higher too, nada done deal yet. stuart: is 325. i know the s&p downgraded some banks, they were regional banks. lauren: five of them, associated bank core, serious

middle-class sort of department store and they are seeing rising credit card balances. they cut their outlook, they maintained a lower outlook, stock is down 9%. 9%. stuart: lowe's, home improvement people. lauren: you fix of the when you have. they are seeing an increase in small-scale home improvement projects. a.k.a. maintenance work on your house and the stock is up 2.5. stuart: bj's? lauren: they expect to% increase in same-store sales including gasoline, that is about half of the previous forecast so stock is down 2%. stuart: dick's boarding goods. lauren: when we talk about people stealing the industry term is shrink, talk about target, now we are talking about dps. the ceo of dps said people are stealing and that is hurting profitability, profits down 23% in the quarter, they cut their full-year profit guidance, didn't put a number on strength, it might come out how

biden took office. paltry up 19%, new cars up 20%, should cars be up 24%, real weekly wages have fallen in 26 of the last 29 months. the level of real wages has come down. that hasn't been made up. the fact the year on year cpi is slow doesn't impact that. estimates run up $600, $700 a month in purchasing power for all these necessities of life. that is what jared is missing. stuart: he's also missing the shock value of inflation. every day people go to the grocery store and pay $7, $8, $9, $10, $5 for eggs, that's
