1960s and we thought under general ford in the mid-1970s that inflation was under control and a soft landing meanwhile it was seven more years and needed asperity not just undercard about reagan as well to ultimately get inflation and interest rates under control. janet yellen and biden might paint a happy picture, every day mcinturff struggling in inflation is not going away. david: it is a big week for feds earning as well but the fed is going to come to some kind of a decision what do you think will happen. >> nothing to summarize but i am yelling and screaming with the fed to get to the program. jonathan said and you said rates are behaving in respect and baby in advance of what the fed has talked about and what they're projected to do, one of the fed governors talked over the last couple of weeks talking about how the open market interest-rate, the ten year note is already doing the work of the fed and maybe the future work of the fed, the fed has to take a chill pill and sit back and let rates determinate and be quiet

12:13 pm
from him and we heard he may be looking to come to visit israel, he will be welcome but let's think about occupation, we have no intention to occupy gaza and stay there, that is not our goal that we intend to go into gaza, definitely. we will hunt down hamas terrorist to find them and to kill them. it depends what you mean occupation. you ask me ground operation. i think we will have to do that and stay there permanently, that is not our goal. hopefully there will be a new regime and we will do something better for the palestinians themselves and not pose a threat to our security. david: the attack on israel by hamas came as israel was working closer and closer to having part of the abraham accord including saudi arabia. i know this is in the distant and your focus on the war right now but has this attack by hamas
12:14 pm
prevented that from happening from saudi arabia joining abraham accord or is it still possible? >> i think for the long time it is possible but unfortunately for the short term we have to admit they are successful. when you analyze why they attacked israel now what was the reason behind it it was unprovoked attack and i think iran was behind it and it was bad to see the u.s., israel, the saudi's come together they don't like to see stability or peace they want to see chaos so i am not surprised that iranians are happy now but i believe in the long-term we will evolve together with the saudi's and other countries because when they saw they realize it is a threat for them. the muslims that have isis tied mechanism to kill jews will be
12:15 pm
used against muslims. their word as well, they will not admit it but i think they are ones to win the war and make sure that we defeat hamas. david: very quickly, does iran have to pay a price for this attack. >> there involved with their proxies. and they will try to get involved they will pay a heavy price. i would advise them not to do that. but for the long run the u.s. and israel has to look and understand they are creating all the problems in the region and we are going to have to deal with them. david: ambassador danny danon our best and to the people of israel. thank you for joining us. absolutely rescue operations are underway in israel florida congressman cory mills says he has rescued at least 96 stranded americans he joins us live on cavuto "coast to coast" coming up next.
