♪. liz: okay, i know a lot of you right now one eye on us, one eye on the web searching for cyber monday deals but there is word on the street there could be quite a deal on paramount global. charlie gasparino. >> i'm not holding my breath on this for the reasons i'm going to lay out. listen i've been speaking to media executives all day, top executives. i've been speaking to lawyers that do m&a, do these type of media deals. i don't think there is a deal in the works but clearly shari redstone who owns paramount as part of national amusements, that is the big holding company of the, of a merged cbs and viacom which became paramount plus the studio, clearly she is looking to sell it. how do i know this? because everybody, this is like the worst-kept secret in hollywood and new york and banking circles.

the question you have to find someone to buy it and this is the hurdle. look at the sort of natural buyers? david zaslav at warner brothers do it now? probably not. he has a lot of debt on his books. if david will do a transformational deal, may be with comcast. can comcast even buy paramount. zaslav market cap is 25 billion, check me on that. paramount's market cap is 9 billion. could paramount -- liz: like it is a mountain, because you're saying french pronunciation? >> i'm being french? that is a weird one for me. in any event would regulators -- liz: market cap, 26 billion. >> get screwed up on the mounts would the justice department, crazy lina khan at the ftc and the justice department antitrust

now believe it or not i like bonds, i like commodities. those companies, those value companies, strong balance streets, that invest in commodities and honestly i really like health care because of our aging population. so those are the picks going into next year. i'm very cautiously bullish. that's for sure. liz: let's tackle at least commodities right now. crude oil has gotten hammered quarter to date. >> yes. liz: on the converse side, we've got gold looking very good. it is $2035 per troy ounce. it had a very strong year. >> that's right. liz: tell me, are you thinking soft commodities? are you thinking industrial? >> industrials. even if we look at something as simple as orange juice. it has outperformed the s&p. so when we're looking at commodities all the way across the board, when people go to the grocery store things are still very, very expensive even though inflation is coming down. so those companies that participate in commodities that have strong balance sheets, i
