the market this morning. jason katz is with us to cover the markets. headline in the wall street journal americans are really bullish on stocks. not this morning apparently. that makes the rally continue but apparently not. >> there is reason to be bullish. we fat under -- uninterrupted rise of the last two years with the exception of two weeks ago when we had a dip. frankly it has been the institutional investor driving the market, from the standpoint of cash, $106 billion last month, then economy heading towards a soft landing, the fed on the precipice of cutting rates, all of that is constructive for equities. we are not without risks. stuart: what are the risks?

>> number one, that this landing is not soft. this is a tough needle to thread. as evidenced by what you said about prices paid, we are in a paradigm where bad news is now bad news. the fed comes in with half a cut would be construed as a sign of panic and markets could take a leg down. stuart: you say there is a big problem for the economy and the markets with a plan to tax unrealized capital gains. what is the big problem? >> that would be an unmitigated disaster. with steve forbes they start with that. when you have an ultrahigh network person, one hundred million dollars of amazon and goes to 150 million and tax 23%
