knowing that he's getting good nutrition and that he has energy is a huge relief for me and my dad. “such a good little bean.” we're so grateful to have had this time with him, so let's keep it going and make every day special. larry: hello, folks. welcome to kudlow, i'm l arry kudlow. well kamala harris flubbed
7:01 pm
most purpose question of the campaign, that is the subject of the riff. kamala harris flubbed most important question of the campaign. and a big hat tip to my long time friend byron york, veteran ace columnist of wash examiner, referring to economy that is the most important issue in the campaign. now is that is the first question of the debate, it went to kamala harris, when it comes to the economy do you believe americans are better th off than they were 4 years ago, byron work's key point about kamalaa answer there was no there, th there. proposal 50 thousand dollar small business start up deduction. actually, under current tax law, still the trump tax cut law, new business owners can already deduct most early stage expenses like payroll
7:02 pm
and equipment costs. start up expenses are minimal. and so many small business starts ups will confident will -- never spend 50 thousand at the beginning there is a poorly thought out plan. and she never mentioned her proposal to repeal virtually all of the highly successful trump tax cuts, including 100% immediate expensing bonus for purchase of new machinery and equipment. that bonus appreciation is one of the most powerful pro growth policies for large, small, and new businesses. and it looks like harris would repeal it. and her so-called economic plan raising top income tax rate to 39.6%, that is what most successful new and small business owners will pay. and her plan would repeal 20% small business cost
7:03 pm
deduction in the trump land and she would jack up capital gains tax, that rewards successful small business owners and on top of that raises estate tax, that is another reward for successful small business owners. so, she can prattle on about a start up deduction, really, what one hand give the other take away here, is mr. trump last thursday. >> fifth pillar of my plan is to make the trump tax cuts permanent. my plan calls for expanded distribution, expensing for new manufacturing investments, and a reduction in the corporate tax rate from 21% to 15%. for companies that make their product in america.
7:04 pm
>> there you go, that plan led to increase in cumulative real income, pre-pandemic, for typical working families of 6400 dollars during trump years, almost 5 times as much as the biden harris gain, of only 1350. now the rest of kamala so-called economic plan is throwing out 25,000 dollars of free money to buy a home. which would jack un expjack up price of new homes and 6,000 refundable tax credit for child that is basic guaranteed income for those who don't work that that is her opportunity economy. byron calls it government giving taxpayer people money so pay higher prices and
7:05 pm
many economists believe these proposals are too big, too broad, not best use of money to help those most in need, that according to a "wall street journal" news story. by the way. mr. trump did double the child tax credit from 1 thousand to 2000. on top of that he slashed margin marginal tax rates for all individuals and businesses providing incentive to work and invest across the board, now, harris also wants to again increase earned income tax credit, also fully refund able, and the most fraud ridden program in the u.s. government, estimated 22 billion dollars in fr fraudulent payments. then remember, in economic speech in north carolina, she proposed price control on good -- food and
7:06 pm
groceries and who knows what else, an ide ridiculed by economists on both sides of the aisle. on top of two trillion biden harris budget deficit. that runs as far as the eye can see. she has never proposed a single reduction in federal spending and never had answer for record deficit spending all of which would contribute to higher not plow are long run inflation, so. with that, mr. byron york concludes that kamala harris never really answered the question with the economy. do you believe americans are better off than they were 4 years ago. for millions people, that answer is no. all right. that is my riff, joining me now, friend kellyanne
7:07 pm
conway. host of here's the deal with kellyanne here on "fox nation." welcome. i am going to read you our friend, karl rove, writing in "wall street journal," regarding debate. a catastrophic debate for trump. a catastrophic debate for trump. and he names all kinds of reinces -- reasons for that, i'm sure you read it, what do you think? karl got it right or wrong? >> i think that whole campaign is catastrophic for kamala harris. in this way, she is staying generic where people want grand ular, she thinks she is funny people are starving and struggling are trying to get facts and figures. and byron york is right, that if she doesn't get specific, she can't undo what most economic centric
7:08 pm
voters think of her, she is part of what is wrong in washington spending money that we don't have on things we don't need and at any didn't ask for and all over the map. i disagree with framing. that are you better off than you were, that isration a that worked in 1980. 4 years ago people were home, kids were out of school, stores were closed. everyone was masked up, frameing is do you want trump 2019 or kamala harris 2019, in 2019, that is when trump's roaring economy was really taking off. he had an excellent necdirector inflati with larry kudlow helping them do that. and if you back at trump 2019 this is when we were rocking and rolling lowest

7:10 pm
changes ending that is armageddon conversation, i think there were opportunities where trump could have turned to kamala harris and done what he does all of the time. which is, you have been from for three and a half years, what he said at end is most important, what have you done for me, you have been there three and a half years, if she has a plan let's see it now, call in 25 amendment be president do the plan. larry: ele look at thing, one thing karl cites in his article, said that trump didn't link her to biden. >> she doesn't have a plan. she copied biden's plan. and it is like 4 sentences, like, run, spot, run. 4 sentence, that are just oh, we'll try to lower taxes, she doesn't have a plan. remember that, she is
