could is weaken further after that? >> unlikely it'll get weaker than a category 3, stuart. there's upper level winds that will back it down. even though it's kind of backing down, you like that the winds speeds are a bit lower, it grows when it does that and impacts more people. how that kind of plays out. 150 miles an hour wind right mow currently forecasted by the time you get to tomorrow overnight, tomorrow evening at 125, that's a cat 3. as it makes this move and starts to slowly weaken, it does expand. currently you're looking at a storm that's about 200 miles in diameter and closer to 400 miles in diameter and dealing with the wind and ultimately a bigger storm can push more water and storm surge is a larger problem. this is the highest storm surge forecast we've ever had in tampa bay, up to 15 feet would be absolutely devastating and further south still devastating numbers. ft. myers and 10 feet of storm

surge because of the powerful storm. the wind is coming down and that's good news and they'll be song and hurricane warnings and stretching all the way across the state and it holds together enough winds and by the time we have a problem with orlando and hurricane warning and strong winds and up to 100 miles an hour and those maximum sustained winds and 100 miles an hour and greater is what we're looking at and kind of holds itself together till it hits the atlantic ocean and that reason we're expecting that to be widespread and up towards orlando and down towards ft. myers and a real issue because of the strong winds that hold it together and of course the flash flooding and this is still a big rainmaker and this is the wind and rain and orlando could be flooding as a result as well and it's really all of those things,

stuart. even if this falls to a category 2, the storm surge picked up all that water and it's going to be an issue, no matter what. stuart: adam klotz, thank you very much indeed. i want to bring in jimmy petronis, the chief financial officer in florida. are homeowner rates going to spike after milton? >> really going to depend on how the impact and damage of the storm is. right now is the path of the storm that is proposed and you're looking at somewhere north of 10, maybe $20 billion worth of insured losses. now the carriers in the state of florida, they have been able to raise the type of capital in order to handle a storm. we've got nine new companies coming into the state, but everything that we're focused on right now is the urban search and rescue preparedness and resources from all corners of the country, 1200 open search and rescue first responders preparing to deploy out when the

storm passes. stuart: what are you getting from the federal government? >> so, the feds have been providing the individual assistance programs right now. but some of the challenges we've had is the amount of debris that was created by helene in pinellas county and st. petersburg and most populated square foot per state and that's the homes and that much flood damage and debris has to be moved and there's been some challenges between the contractors and fema and the sorting process. at the end of the day, we have to get the debris gone so they don't become projectiles when the storm makes land fall. stuart: property taxes going up in the aftermath of the storms? >> so, property taxes will reflect whatever the functional usefulness of the property is. if your home has been damaged and that new appraised value is less, it'll be a reprieve so we did this after hurricane ian,
