stuart: governor desantis said 23 urban service connected and rescue teams with over 1600 personnel have been deployed and more than 1600 individuals and 140 animal haves been rescued. 12,000 miles of state roads cleared and 96% complete and # thousand bridge inspections across the affected areas are completed and up indicate on going from the governor. florida is in recovery mode after back-to-back hurricanes and knocked out electricity for millions. steve harrigan is in tampa.

>> yeah, it's a roller coaster of emotions and inherently it'll be different for everyone. for us we chose to try and stay positive and try and focus on the fact arapaima is safe and things we lost can be replaced and home rebuild and it's definitely challenging when you get back-to-back hit. stuart: your house suffered canaling in the first hurricane, helene. >> no, ironically we received advanced payment the day it was made and received and advanced payment is all we'll receive and finishing out the claim, we should see the remainder. stuart: we had a briefing from governor desantis and telling everybody what he's done in the state, and it really sounds good. i've got to say. how would you judge his

2016 and 2020. stuart: we have polls showing trump in georgia, north carolina, arizona and nevada and they're very much swing states and new polling shows republicans appear to be poised to take control of the senate. montana, florida, texas are leading for the republicans. that would be a really big win for the gop, even if hay contempt the white house; right? >> back in obama and mike and alyssa and if trump overperforms in those states and he could carry the candidates across the line and could be a blowout win for the gop across the board.

stuart: obama recruited a democrat power house to recruit for kamala harris. who is it, ashley? ashley: one and only bill clinton. the former president hitting the campaign trail for harris in key battleground states over the coming days and beginning in georgia where he will try to leverage long standing relationship with rural voters and campaign said instead of big rallies and clinton speaking to a few hundred people at the time and local fairs of porch events. who needs a big rally. they're trying to pick up what are disillusioned trump voters in traditionally red areas and obama also crisscrossing swing states and means three of six living presidents are currently sumping for the vice president. but the polls don't really re-protect that's giving much of a boost.

when you're in the military you're really close with your brothers and your sisters that are in the military with you. and when you get out of the military, you kind of lose that until you find a new family. we can talk about our struggles and the things that we did overseas and not everybody can do that. adam! how's it going, brother? we live pretty close to each other. so he's always coming over. when i go to jack's house, we watch a lot of football, hang out. we go outside the friendship has kind of grown into a family i was overseas on a deployment. i got separated from my marines and i got hit in the neck, and it broke my neck and paralyzed me. 14 years ago, i was on a training mission. did a military freefall, and i had some faulty equipment. i hit the ground.

going, 30 to 40 knots and was instantly paralyzed. i met jack fanning when he invited us to park city, utah, through his foundation. i was able to actually get on the mountain and ski with my family, i can't put into words what that meant. i got paid in the military to do crazy fun stuff. and after my accident, i'm still that same guy. and when i was able to jump out of a perfectly good, helicopter, at 10,000 feet, i did it. i was talking to some vets last week amazing how we have these houses where they can come over because they■re in chairs too. carpet and wheelchairs don't mix very well. tunnel to towers, they got rid of all that. they redid my whole bathroom. that's probably the favorite part of my house. i thought they were just going to do the upgrades. but the surprise to me was they paid off the entire mortgage. when they told me they're going to pay off my mortgage, i cried.
