lift welcome back. government watch dogs are accusing kamala harris and joe biden claiming they're protecting you from rising costs and medicare and they're really deploying election year gimmicks to mask and conceal problems that could cost you money. edward lawrence is at the white house with more. edward. reporter: the congressional budget office found that medicare part d premiums could triple because of the way the program is run and re-designed and how other programs interact with it. so the inflation reduction act allowed the government to cap medication prices for some people and would cap total out of pocket cost for other people and pushing those costs onto other taxpayers through higher premiums and over the summer the biden harris administration saw this coming and basically giving health insurance companies $5 billion for one year to temporally keep medicare part d
