larry: so yes, mr. trump is breaking through and all these wall street liberals are running for cover away from kamala, but the biggest one of all, jay powell, and his ultra 50 basis point never should have done it. it was a gigantic mistake and now there's a sell-off in stocks and bonds and the biggest hero of all is always elizabeth macdonald. liz: thank you, larry. i just learned more about the markets in your five seconds
5:01 pm
than a year of the "wall street journal." thank you, larry appreciate you. welcome to the "evening edit" i'm elizabeth macdonald. >> [applause] >> the governor of florida has been cooperative and you know you're doing a great job. she's aware, we're singing from the same song sheet. we've got to lock him up. >> [applause] liz: okay, white house damage control. now, they may take president biden off the campaign trail for kamala after he spoke the truth about the democrat push to jail trump. biden's own aids now even leaking and attacking biden. they say they are hurting kamala. the backlash is also growing against calling trump the dictator after biden said lock him up. congressman cory mills is here to react also tonight, do working class voters want this? >> i grew up in the middle class.
5:02 pm
look, i come from the middle class. >> the middle class is where i come from. liz: okay, a lot of talking there, or do working class voters want this? >> do you like r raisins? >> i like grapes that have been through something, it's just who i am so yeah, i guess i do like it. >> i like my grapes, you know, nice and clean. >> i like grapes of wrath. larry liz: that's hilarious. who is connecting to voters? the kamala team are literally a wrecking ball to the democrat coalition taking away working class voters of all ages and races. who is saying this? pew research, nbc, cnn, politico all reporting this. tonight, how obama, biden, and
5:03 pm
harris lectured their way into in relevance and how kamala harris is now desperately trying to run miles and miles back to the center by flip flopping. radio host jason rantz here to take that on tonight also this. >> it's just over-run. we don't have space for everybody, so the housing has been taken over and our schools have been taken over. pretty much the whole town has been. liz: seriously what is going on in the biden white house? another small town swamped by the border crisis. should congress now probe who exactly inside the biden-harris administration is picking and choosing which towns will suddenly get an influx of migrants again. these towns say that for legal immigration, what they are saying is is out of control. miami mayor francis suarez says miami is also getting hit but first this. former president trump, he's about to hold a rally in georgia
5:04 pm
tonight. it's a state that went for president biden by less than 12,000 votes in 2020. a new poll out of the atlanta constitution says trump is up in georgia. let's take you there right now fox news jonathan seri joins us live in decatur. jonathan good to see you. reporter: yeah, good to see you as well. former president trump will be speaking in the northern suburb of duluth, georgia. meanwhile, early voting is setting new records here in the state. i'm at a voting site in decatur, which is in dekalb county, one of the many metro atlanta counties and one of the most populous counties. statewide we are looking at more than 2 million georgians already casting ballots. this is coming very close to 30% of active voters, casting early ballots so far. now, knowing whose casting these early ballots and where they're casting them can help the campaigns tweak their ground
5:05 pm
games but it's challenging to figure out which candidate is ahead in the state because of the state's open primary system. when you register to vote, you do not register by party so you can not definitively say so many republicans have cast ballot. so many democrats have, and instead you have to base that on polls and demographic information based on the numbers that you're seeing in the different counties. now, using upgraded technology, georgia election officials conducted a comprehensive citizenship audit to look for any non-us citizens on the voter roles, non-us citizens are not allowed to vote. they are banned by state and federal law from doing that. the secretary of states office conducted this , and the chief operating officer gabrielle sterling of the georgia secretary of states office said that they have flagged 20 voters
5:06 pm
that were on the role that they definitively believe are non-us citizens and they were immediately disqualified. let's listen to his sound bite. >> the 20 individuals we found as non-citizens who were canceled were canceled based on individualized information from those people. what it is is they signed affidavits to get out of jury duty basically saying i am a non-citizen. reporter: now, the names of these people were referred to the district attorneys, and their respective counties, for potential prosecution. now, in addition to these 20, who were immediately disqualified, based on this audit, there were an additional 156 potential non-us citizen voters flagged that the secretary of state's office is going to conduct some further investigation. back to you. liz: thank you so much, jonathan, it's good to see you. >> you too.
5:07 pm
>> our democracy is at stake. think about it. think about what happens if donald trump were to win this election? i know this sounds bizarre, it sounds like if i said this five years ago you'd lock me up. we've got to lock him up. the same guy has three major cases waiting for him when he loses and by the way, 34 felonies. liz: okay less than two weeks ago president biden triggers a new firestorm. publicly and openly admitting the goal was always to jail his political opponent trump. he called for trump to be locked up and tried to correct it. let's welcome to the show from house arm services florida congressman cory mills. congressman what was your reaction when you heard that? we should point out, trump campaign national press secretary karoline leavitt said in a statement, that they are the real threat to democracy. that joe biden just admitted the truth. that's been the plan to persecute trump. what do you think? >> well, i think that the american people, liz, have always known the department of justice has been continuing to
5:08 pm
could lewd alongside the executive branch and the biden-harris administration to jail their political opponent. not to mention that we just recently found out nathan wade from the georgia prosecution was actually coordinating and had multiple calls with the white house and so we seen where fani willis' case has been colluded as well so look, they keep talking about a threat to democracy and yet harris is the only one who received zero elections as their presidential nominee, denying the american people their selection which was president joe biden, so the real threat to democracy, liz, is really the democrats who continue to try and bypass what the rule of law is and what constitutionality really means. liz: the kamala campaign, democrats, they are reportedly so angry biden damaged kamala harris. by the way she's yet to condemn biden's remarks. reports coming in looks like the biden white house is leaking against biden to do damage control. alex tom son at axios says a former biden official texted him saying "we've got to lock up joe
5:09 pm
biden" a current biden white house aid says,"flow one is listening to joe biden any more, his words have little power and reach" so what is this , congressman? brush off this threat to democracy by saying biden is incompetent? >> well, i mean, they are always willing to try and throw one of their own or sacrifice one of their own to save the narrative. look this is the same administration, the same party, and the same individual biden-harris who tried to talk about dangerous rhetoric by president trump and meanwhile, was making comments like let's put trump in the bullseye. you had harris who actually was promoting the minnesota bail punditry to promote criminality during the 2020 riots. you had people like maxine waters saying get in the face of every elected politician. these are the threats when you talk about threats to democracy is the left. i think the american people see that and what they will do right now and all the way until november 5 is vote for the person whose going to help build a strong economy and secure our border and prioritize
5:10 pm
americans and get back to being an america-first nation. liz: congressman cory mills thanks for joining us. >> thank you, liz appreciate you. liz: at the end of the day, i don't think she has the personality. i don't think that she has what it takes to go up against putin and go up against these other presidents that are built for this. i don't want to be scared because my president is scared. i want my president to feel secure and manly and about it. >> she just don't have the qualification or the education to really run america, because she don't have the experience. she don't understand our struggles, and for me to believe you for another four years, you're crazy. you're crazy. you're saying the same thing that you said four years ago. >> my point of view is, i told you earlier, she's already been there. she's in office right now. liz: right.
5:11 pm
those are voters from philadelphia speaking out against kamala harris telling how they feel in this deeply blue city. joining us now, black man for trump advisory board member t. w. shannon. it's great to see you. what do you make of this? they are really speaking out there. trump looks like he could breakthrough the philadelphia that blue city, making all the difference. when you hear just speaking how they feel, right from their heart, it's really something. it's really authentic and real. >> it is authentic and real just like donald trump is. he's done something pretty remarkable that no modern day president has in the republican side he's transformed the republican party into the party of the working class. now, of course democrats always want to make everything about race but what donald trump has said the maga movement, the make america great movement is not about race, creed, or zip code but doing what's right for the american people and when you have a candidate like kamala harris allowed 21 million illegals to come into america, let's be honest. they aren't taking white jobs,
5:12 pm
the democrats made a big deal. they are taking black jobs and the reason black americans are waking up is because they suffered under kamala harris for the last four years and ready to turn the page. liz: yeah, so, why do people think that she's been there for four years and she's suddenly going to fix america's problems when she didn't do it four years ago? that's what the voters are saying and not just in philadelphia, you hear it in chicago, new york, l.a., across the country. kamala harris has a cnn town hall tonight at 9:00 p.m. politico, the hill, the "wall street journal" are saying what you're saying. her tone deaf tour with liz cheney didn't work. you know, we're going to get your reaction to this. the question is this , mr. shannon. do we want word salads in the situation room? will kamala harris really stand up to putin and xi and iran as voters are saying? watch kamala harris on nbc. >> can you say you were honest with the american people about what you saw in those moments
5:13 pm
with president biden as you were with him again and again repeatedly in that time? >> of course. joe biden is an extremely accomplished, experienced, and capable in every way that anyone would want if they're president. >> why do you think that's not landing with voters? it's the opposite. former president trump leads you on this issue. >> well this is why i'm going out to wisconsin, pennsylvania, and michigan. >> fewer men support you right now than they did president biden. do you think there is sexism at play here? >> let me just tell you something. you've come to my events and you will see there are men and women at those events. liz: gee, news flash, really? i mean, let me backup. a majority of americans feel worse off today versus four years ago. you see that in gallop polling, you see it across-the-board.
5:14 pm
the economy, inflation, immigration, across-the-board. 54% trust trump on these issues versus 45% and about that for harris, for harris so final word on this. >> well listen, america is headed down the wrong direction and kamala harris is the reason. we month that when donald trump was president, americans were more free, they were more prosperous and more safe when they was in the white house and that's when i think he will have another four years to restore order. liz: tw shannon, thanks for johning us wonderful to see you. thank you for having me. liz: sure. i worked at mcdonald's. >> i worked at mcdonald's. liz: well, we've eaten there. okay, the battle for authenticity. do working class and middle class voters believe that? or do they believe this? >> some got official stuck in his cheese. >> really? >> wow, wow. >> man. >> but he had two weeks.
5:15 pm
>> he had a really bad night or a really good night. >> [laughter] >> god dang, it's just like catch and release, brother. catch and release. he probably tried to come hads across the border. >> [laughter] >> and i only say that because we have a couple border patrol agents on there. liz: that j.d. vance podcast in yinterview going viral. it was also j.d. vance talking about the waffle house. we love waffle house. we love denny's, ihop, and cracker barrel too. jays on rantz is taking it on and react to the sound and also this tonight. >> it's coming from a third world country, coming into logansport, and these individuals don't necessarily know the local laws or rules, and how to behave here.
5:16 pm
we need some help here and federal help. we need more information. liz: everybody's for legal migration. this is a nation built on immigrants, right? but this is the problem. yet another small town inundated by a migrant influx. who in the biden-harris white house is keeping these towns in the dark? not telling them what's going on? should congress probe who exactly is picking and choosing which town will get a migrant influx or are they just throwing darts at a us map? is congress getting on the stick here? tonight miami mayor francis suarez will talk about how miami is also getting hit. hispanic, latino voters don't like it, they don't like the border collapse and also more on the fast reaction by the white house and democrats that shutdown president biden saying yeah, lock up trump. saying the quiet part outloud. this is a truth about that democrat push, biden said it. plus kamala harris and the media calling trump the dictator going full-on about that.
5:17 pm
why that's back firing today. so are tim walz's new attacks on elon musk. attorney leo terrell is taking that on tonight. plus this. >> a rally in the south bronx? >> i'll do one maybe at madison square garden too. new york has changed a lot in the last two years. we have migrants all over the street. they are living on madison avenue. i mean, nobody can believe what's happened to new york. the people of new york are angry. liz: okay, trump is doing a rally at madison square garden in new york city. we've got a new report. really are democrats going to try to sabotage that? seriously? details coming up. lots of action this hour, we will be back in two. please stay right there. >> weight loss kind of drug. >> it ended up having a black market. there was somebody selling it outside illegally something over there outside of charlottesville. it breaks my heart. >> that's the perfect encapsulation. >> it breaks my heart.
5:18 pm
>> oh, my god. [laughter] >> shakes me to my core, j. d. hey, get your head in the game, son. the scout from football college is up in the stands. maybe i'd rather go to school for insurance. i didn't raise no insurance man. but you did, dad. football's your passion. but mine is providing around-the-clock protection to progressive customers who bundle home and auto. jamie, we need you out here for football. you're giving up on your dream, james. no, dad. i'm giving up on yours. no, james, wait! oh, that's not the exit.

5:23 pm
former president trump's upcoming rally at madison square garden in new york city on sunday. will that back fire? fox news alexis mcadams is at madison square garden with the story. reporter: hi, liz. well not everyone is excited about seeing former president donald trump coming to madison square garden although he's looking forward to being up on that stage there behind me in manhattan on sunday. now, some people are trying to mess with the turnout. registering for tickets but saying they are not going to show up. look on your screen. these are those posts on social media that show people are signing up for the event and even receiving text messages saying think ecan use them to enter, but hey, the plan is to just take up spots and not fill up any sheets so those people might think hey this is a pretty sly move. the trump campaign event page has different plans saying the seats are filled on a first come first serve basis, meant to prevent anything from this from happening. former president trump not focused on the tolls but says
5:24 pm
he's focused on filling the garden. >> we have the whole thing, 18 or 19,000, we have the floor and it's sold out in three hours so that's a great honor. reporter: trump's third rally in the state so far this election cycle you can see the large and diverse crowds that may stop in the south bronx and also at another rally out on long island just last month. the former president says he is going to make a play to win new york though he has lost the state the last two elections by more than 20% points so we'll see what happens but back here in new york when you talk to voters around manhattan they do talk about the migrant crisis and also just the price for basic necessities. those are issues that people say might make them vote republican for the first time ever in deep blue new york. liz: really interesting stuff thank you very much, alexis. appreciate you. >> the end of my senate campaign, i was just like, i'd gotten very overweight and it's like the campaign is hard on the body. you eat chick-fil-a for breakfast, wendy's
5:25 pm
for brunch, waffle house for dinner. >> what did you get at waffle house so we know it? >> all-american special, grits for home fries, for hash browns. >> i didn't even know they had home fries. >> well they have hash browns. >> homeless fries there, dude. >> [laughter] okay that second photo from the top, that is the all america special but again, i'm not a grits guy so if you swap out the grits for hash browns they don't charge you anything. liz: j.d. vance just gave you a tip there swap out the grits for home fries, or either/or . j.d. vance talking to podcaster and comedian, and the race more and more is about authenticity. whose real? whose not? who connects with voters? now reportedly kamala harris' campaign is rattled with a working class voter problem. trump and vance a wrecking ball to the democrat coalition, across-the-board, nbc, politico, the "wall street journal" reports democrats are losing
5:26 pm
the works class to trump and vance. let's bring in for his reaction, from the jason rantz show, jason, this is pretty amazing stuff. obama and harris turn the democrat party into an out of touch vanity project and ivory tower bubble of like celebrities and elites you can't connect to. >> yeah, she's got two clear problems. one she's inauthentic. no one looks at kamala harris and says man, she's speaking organically. she's coming from the heart. no, everything is scripted and she's trying to define herself because of her second problem which is she's attached to an administration and decisions that have been made that made life worse for the american people. we remember things, right? we might not remember policies specific, but we remember how we feel, we remember when you go to a grocery store and you look at your cart and you say i purchased the same thing for the last severals and how come it's so much more expensive now, when you go to a gas station and it's more expensive to fill up. those are the things we remember
5:27 pm
and so when one side is complaining about how we don't understand the fact that things are actually great because of biden economics, bidenomics, that we really have this threat of donald trump. he's going to destroy democracy. everyone's looking at that saying, um, no. we've got problems and he helps solve them. liz: okay so harris is now trying to run 50 million miles back to the center to basically flip flop back to the middle and she's copying trumps policies, tax policies. working and middle class workers, they liked it when trump vowed to remember the forgotten men and women of america. they don't like the party of identity politics and division. they love america, america is their family. their friends. you know, they laugh at his outrageous statements. they know he says things that are wrong and off the wall but they feel like political outsiders. they feel he would throw a rock at the two-party system in d.c., that abandon they feel ordinary
5:28 pm
people. i mean, we see at least five units, not endorsing kamala but when they try to pitch to middle class working class voters, they sound like this , jason let's get your reaction to this. >> i come from the middle class. >> [applause] >> i come from the middle class. >> i come from the middle class. and i will never forget where i come from. >> i worked in macdonalds. >> [applause] >> i worked in mcdonald's. i did the french fries an the ice cream. i worked in mcdonald's. liz: does this sound authentic? they go on hunting trips like tim walz struggled loading the gun. j.d. vance didn't have to say he grew up middle class. he doesn't have to say he owns a gun. are these authentic answers when you hear them? >> well it's just so absurd because you know, you look at donald trump. he is a very wealthy man and yet he comes off as more like everybody else than kamala harris could ever pull off but it's because she's trying so
5:29 pm
hard. when you try that hard and repeat over and over again, it just becomes less and less authentic and it sounds more like a performance. liz: we got pew research averages of recent polls. harris is losing working class voters by nearly 12 points. she's losing more of them than biden did. biden lost by eight points and hillary clinton lost by seven. pew research is saying that. cnn is saying that trump has the most working class support of any gop candidate in 40 years final word. >> yeah, i mean, i talked to a boeing machinist here the other day. they are on strike. they might end the strike, but he was talking about how you be surprised by how many union members are actually trump supporters. liz: interesting. >> i think people will be in for a big surprise. liz: jason rantz pleasure to see you. >> thank you. >> so, look, elon is on that stage, jumping around, skipping on this stage. you know it. liz: coming up the self-described knuckle head
5:30 pm
tim walz versus a tech genius elon musk. walz is going after elon musk. we've got details on how tim walz is getting minnesota to invest in elon musk's products. ford o'connell is here on that and also this tonight. >> he said politically, politically lock him out. that is what he was referring to. >> he first said it twice, lock him up. liz: okay, that's not really playing, right? biden did say the quiet part outloud, admitting his desire to yeah, jail his political opponent, trump. lock him up. this is the democrat lawfare push going on for years, but the media spent all day railing on trump as a dictator, so attorney leo terrell is taking it on but first this. >> this year, there are 207
5:31 pm
haitian students in logansport schools up from 14 in 2021. they also have new students from 11 other countries including guatemala, cuba, honduras and el el salvadore. liz: whose calling shots in the white house? should congress press who exactly is making the decisions on where to shift this influx of migrants into small town america without telling local leaders? miami mayor francis suarez says miami is getting hit and he's here to talk about it, next. >> it's just over run. we don't have space for everybody, so the housing has been taken over and our schools have been taken over. pretty much the whole town has been taken over.

liz: this story coming in. the biden-harris border crisis swamping small towns in america. let's take you to logansport, indiana. their small town is struggling. fox news garrett tenney coming to us with the details on this migrant influx. the town did not see coming, garrett? reporter: liz, this town is known as a diverse community with a lot of immigrants so folks here say it's not a race issue. it's a culture issue, and that the explosion of haitians has just been too much for their town to handle. over the last three-years, logans port mayor estimates more than 3,000 people moved in looking for work with most being haitians who came into the country through the biden-harris administration's immigration programs. that is a 20-30% increase in the town's total population. that is creating a lot of issues. the health department is seeing an uptick in cases of hiv and aids and the roads aren't as safe as they used to be with a 30% jump in accidents and
5:38 pm
driving violations and long time residents say they don't feel safe anymore. >> just keeps on getting worse and worse and they keep bringing them in and they run the whole streets at the nighttime. >> they need to go back to where they came from because there's too many here. they are taking over the town, actually. >> we're all for compassion. we understand why people come here and from all around the world, but you can't do that at the expense of everyone else either. you've got to have compassion for those who are here. >> the police chief says there hasn't been an increase in crime but a lot of locals say the big cultural differences with this latest group of immigrants is leading to a lot of uncomfortable situations. >> they don't walk in just one or two of them. there are five, six, seven of them and they stop right in front of your house and just stare at you. we have cameras on our porch now. they have come up on our porch and grabbed some of the baby's toys and i'll be sitting in the living room, like hey, hey, that's ours. and they just look at me and put
5:39 pm
it down and walk away. they say nothing. it's unnerving. >> this surg of haitians is also impacting the schools. in 2021 the district had just 14 haitian students. today there are more than 200, most of whom don't speak english when they arrive. the school superintendent tells us, neither she nor any principals have received complaints about student needs not being met but this is an issue that's happening across the country. in a reuters investigation this month reaching out to some of the nations largest school districts, a third of those replied said the increase in immigrant children has had a significant impact on their districts. liz? liz: that's reuters reporting that. garrett tenney thank you so much. >> i'm going to vote republican down ballot, and i'm going to do it every year, until someone does something about this problem. i've reached out to who i thought would help me, because i'm a life long democrat and i

got nothing but pushback and called a liar. i'm not saying migrants because there are plenty of migrants here legally trying to do the right thing. this invasion of bad people, criminals, with guns, it can't be allowed to continue. liz: that was former aurora, colorado resident cindy romero. she said she had to flee her apartment because of crimes and violence by the transnational lethal gang out of venezuela. talking shoot-outs, home invasions, multiple people in aurora say they witnessed increasing gang crime and violence. they all support legal immigration. joining us now, the mayor of miami francis suarez. your honor, great to see you. what do you make of the story? what are you seeing in miami? >> well, immigration has to be legal and orderly and that extends to the way you run your city. your city has to be a city of law and order. if you let the law disintegrate in your city, you have lawlessness which leads to
5:41 pm
enormous disorder and leads to all kinds of dysfunction and we seen that unfortunately across american cities, not just with reference to illegal immigration and gangs, like the venezuelan gang in aurora. we've seen it in a variety of different context. no cash bail, with "the situations" related to people talking over parts of cities. you know, in the city of miami, we are a law and order city but we have seen influx of migrants tax and when i say tax overwhelmed at some level our public school system as i think you noted in the prior report, and it has increased in the case of miami-dade county, in one year by 14,000 additional students. that is the equivalent of, you know, seven new 2000 students to school so it's a tremendous amount of strain on any ecosystem on any city, and so it's something we have to contend with. we have to do it right. liz: mayor suarez, thanks for johning us tonight pleasure. >> thank you.
5:42 pm
