>> yeah. well, it wasn't too hard to do. trump tore up the nafta the agreement which we hated during his first if term. he open oped up an war for drilling can -- anwr for drilling, oil lease explanation was given out west, gas and oil prices came way down. i mean, the autoworkers love him. you can't go by what shawn fein, the socialist uaw presidents, says. the membership is about 65% for trump, and i know that for fact because i've been doing an auto plant rally every week since memorial day, and we talk to the autoworkers as they're coming off their shift, chrysler, gm and ford plants. i'm getting the feedback directly from the guys on the line doing the voting, and it's a solid 65% -- elizabeth: more than two-thirds of the rank and file of the uaw, like the teamsters, are going for trump. that's what you're saying. i mean, that's interesting news and an interesting development.

reporter, madison alworths us in new york city with more. madison. >> reporter: liz, nationally home prices have grown 48% since 2019, and in some swing states it's worse. take a look at this. the median home sale price in in 20 to 20 was $29 the 7,000. -- 297,000. in september of this year it was $443,000. nearly $150,000 more. michigan has also seen a big runup from $184,000 to now $266,000 for your median home. rents also stay high because it's hard and expensive to get into a home. making rent an issue if in swing states as well. renters in those states on average earn 17 less than needed to afford the typical apartment. both campaigns are focusing on this issue. harris is promising $25,000 for first-time home buyers to help

with down payments and is pushing a plan to build 3 million new housing units in 4 years. although we've not gotten details on how exactly she would get that done. trump has said he are create tax incentives -- he will create tax incentives for home buyers and cut red tape to allow for building and make federal land available for residential construction. he also pushes that by reducing inflation and stopping illegal immigration, it will help with housing availability and will lower housing costs. but look no further than the latest home sale numbers to see just how bad things are. sales of existing homes in the u.s. are on track for their worst year since 1995. high home prices and high mortgage rates which are going back up, by the way, have kept buying low. liz? elizabeth: wow. madisonal worth, interesting stuff -- madison alworth, interesting stuff. thank you so much. >> between diesel costs, gasoline costs, the cost of energy has made it really,

d.a.'s office. she served as attorney general of california, but this story by james lynch at the national review claims she's inflating the record. what do you think? >> well, i know this, on the campaign trail that's her theme. she's made it an issue, endlessly boasting about her prosecutorial chops as a courtroom prosecutor, but whether she ever actually saw the inside of a courtroom, that's now in serious question. you know, back when she was running for t.a. in san francisco -- d.a. in san francisco, she bragged in her lit hur, her mailers, about her vast trial experience claiming she, and i'm quoting here, tried hundreds of serious violent listen inniesful well, understand -- felonies. well, understand that trying a case means you were inside the courtroom presenting evidence, arguing it in front of a judge and jury usually to the verdict. but at the time when asked in a debate how many she tried, she backtracked and said 50. not hundreds. but she couldn't name a single

one. right. elizabeth: she starts -- she says in the story quotes it as 50, then 30, and now it could be possibly less than 10. i mean, she's heatedly denied this, right? it's a very touchy summit for her. she has served in those offices that we just anticipated, but could it be that she's enfacilitating the number with misdemeanors? or do it be that she's saying i worked -- i oversaw this office so, ipso facto, i prosecuted these cases, that she's loosely saying prosecuted? if well, in her own words she's gone from 50 to 30 which is a far cry from hundreds of cases being tried. and, you know, what's interesting is recent record searches have failed to come up with anything at all, which is pretty strange because that stuff is usually well documente- elizabeth: like what? >> right now her -- elizabeth: like what? they can't find -- go ahead, trial court motions? >> files, files are kept in
