5:04 pm
he's set to speak here where we are in atlanta about an hour from now, where he's going to hold another campaign rally and the polls here in georgia show it is a very, very tight race. take a look. the most recent poll is what just came out last week is things are essentially deadlocked between he and kamala harris at about 49% each with just 1% of voters undecided. the chairman of the rnc said on fox this morning, the party is feeling very good about where they are at right now with these early voting returns, especially in battleground states. take a listen. >> [applause] >> what we're seeing right now is we are not candy ballizing our election day votes. we're very excited about the numbers that we're seeing of people that did not vote in 2020. reporter: and with just over a week left, until election day, trump is hitting harris particularly hard on her record on illegal immigration. the trump team just released a new emotional video a couple hours ago which features the mom

melugin. thank you so much. okay let's get to the whole media meltdown the democrat brew-haha over trump's madison square garden rally. eric adams says stop it with the rhetoric trying to compare trump to hitler. nearly a dozen person presidents have held events at msg, and the viewish leaders and voters turned out in full and hispanics and people of all faiths and races joining us from house foreign affairs florida congresswoman maria salazar, her family fled communist cuba to come to america. congresswoman, what did you make of the media meltdown and the democrat meltdown over the rally? >> well, we need to expect what's happening right now, elizabeth. they know they are going to lose. the momentum is palpable. you can feel it everywhere from miami to georgia so we are delighted to know that hispanics and the rest of the american electorate has come to the realization that it's time to change, and you know i wanted to

good to see you again. reporter: good evening, liz. you know, you look at today in wisconsin. it's a day for the runningmates both vice presidential picks holding a number of events across the state today. minnesota governor tim walz head a speech in manitowac at the wisconsin aluminum foundry company and ohio senator j.d. vance spoke in wausaw andre in wausaw and racine. >> let's get back to policies that lower the cost of groceries, gasoline and make the american dream a forkeddable. affordable.>> we're united arod the dignity and the pride of working people and union members. kamala harris and i have plain to build the american industrial strength powered by american workers. reporter: the harris campaign says this is walz's 7th visit to wisconsin since he joined the ticket. robert f. kennedy jr. , former representative tulsi gabbard are here in madison tomorrow.

vice president harris rallies in wisconsin wednesday and former president trump campaigns in degree bay with brett favre also on wednesday and tonight it's the progressives, senator bernie sanders and representative aoc will rally in madison and last week, sanders told the associated press that harris needs to start addressing working class people more and "they are a hell of a lot more working class people who could vote for kamala harris than there are conservative republicans." harris' move to the center from her previously more progressive positions on immigration, the border and energy. voting is already underway in this state, both in-person and absent teen mall-in balloting. so far according to the state nearly 860,000 ballots have been returned. liz? liz: thank you, rich edson, good to see you. >> we've got to critically re-examine i.c.e. >> there's no question i'm in favor of banning fracking. >> we need medicare for all. >> i support a mandatory buyback program. >> zero-emission vehicles only,

5:24 pm
madison square garden in the first place was phenomenal and it shows you that people are engaged with the trump campaign without the celebrities. liz: you know what's really interesting what you said by the way trump is in the lead in the real clear polling averages. harris' favorability has dropped over the last month, more disapprove than approve of her. he's got a slight lead in the battlegrounds and he's leading harris in the economy on the economy, the new abc poll. 45% trust trump more than harris, but you know, you talk to a lot of people out there, an ton. you talk to folks. what are they feeling because let me back it up. we've got new reports coming out this week on the economy, gdp, jobs, and inflation. $38 trillion in us debt. one out of four to one out of seven jobs are created by the government. government over-spending is boosting gdp growth. we're seeing economy and create just 115,000 new jobs in october, less than half of what it did in september.
5:25 pm
we're losing manufacturing jobs. we're in a manufacturing recession under biden and harris. they only created like 137,000 manufacturing jobs. that's a blue collar bust. >> you know, the interesting thing about it is that i think that the polls are wrong. i think that his lead is huge, massive , because i'm on the ground. i speak a lot of times with the people in the local 600, and people in local 600 are saying, in local 600 is a steel base in dearborn michigan and i spoke with the people in gary, indiana and pennsylvania and they are saying they are getting laid off. if you look at what's happening at jefferson and stallantis and the manufacturing jobs in tech it's not even jobs being added valued by the people that need to support their families and their wives and their children and pay their student loans, but people are suffering, and what i see on the ground is people are widely swinging towards trump, because they don't see any

well look. i spent two hours, almost two hours during a very contentious interview, but they don't know what i know. i've forgot more about this issue so i went in there and claimed why we need to secure the border. the damage they have done to this country. why this is such a huge national security issue and of course that didn't make it to the final cut but i'm happy to go there. liz: what didn't make it to the final cut? what did they cut out? >> the national security threat on the border and suspected terrorists and the amount of fentanyl coming across that killed a quarter million americans and talk about a 600% increase in sex trafficking and about the criminals and the gang members that have come across. they didn't talk about everything that's meaningful to the american people on why

5:41 pm
with that, liz, is that if you do erase the last four years of the biden-harris administration you pretend harris wasn't a part of it wasn't the last person in the room the most recent example of her policies goes back to 2019 when she herself was running for president and those policy positions were even more radical and more detrimental to the country than the status quo so she can run from biden but she can't hide from his record and she certainly can't hide from her own. liz: talk to us about her 2019 policies because they are still there. today, she again flip-flops saying she doesn't want government-run healthcare saying medicare for all is not a priority for me. she wants up to 5 trillion tax hikes over a decade on top of historic inflation. trump wants tax cuts. so when you see that kamala campaign and how she's been handling it and how she's been trying to run away from her far left record, what results do we get from identity politics? what results do we get from, you know, causing racial division? what results do we get from far left policies?
