inflation. we'll show you with live reports on the battlegrounds also this story. >> how many people? >> [indiscernible] >> thanks. >> [overlapping speakers] liz: okay, that was president biden ignoring questions on why he insulted half of america attacking trump voters. we dig into how the biden-harris white house made it worse. altering the official transcript on what biden said. radio host jason rantz will take that on but first this. former president trump held a rally in north carolina early today. tonight he's about to launch another one in green bay, wisconsin. let's take you through right now. rich edson, the one and only rich edson standing by live at the scene with more. rich it's great to see you. reporter: good evening, liz. the crowd is just getting in here to the trump rally in green bay, wisconsin.
5:04 pm
the former president scheduled to speak a couple hours from now. he was in rocky mount, north carolina ahead of this , where he gave a speech earlier today. the trump campaign is promising an economic message from the former president here in green bay, that kamalanomics raised prices for wisconsin on groceries, rent, car insurance and more and highlighting trump's campaign promises to eliminate taxes on social security, overtime and tips. we also have hall of fame packer quarterback brett favre speaking and while in north carolina trump again leaned into president biden's comments that the only garbage he sees is trump supporters and his demonization of latinos. >> joe biden finally said what he and kamala think of our supporters. he called them garbage. >> booooo. >> and they mean it. even though without question, my supporters are far higher-quality than crooked joe or lying kamala.
5:05 pm
reporter: now the white house argues biden was only talking about the comedian at trump's madison square garden rally who called puerto rico an island of garbage but both come pains are running comments from other people. over the next couple of days trump is in michigan and nevada, back here in wisconsin, and in some states that don't seem particularly close. new mexico and virginia. campaign aids argue this is a show of strength from trump's appeal, like filling madison square garden in the middle of deep blue new york. here in wisconsin, more than a million voters have returned early ballots thus far. about half have shown up in person. another half returned their mail-in ballots. liz: rich edson, thank you so much. >> i don't know the puerto rico that i know or puerto rico wherein my home state of delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people and the only garbage i see floating out there is his supporters. >> moments ago, joe biden

5:07 pm
hispanic. you remember that first controversy, so then you have the clean-up in aisle b is just derailing on this. >> well, because every american people can listen to it for themselves and it's the repeatedly, they have gone after the trump deserves supporters. it's one thing to go after the candidate and try to demonize him but democrats made this a pattern and that pattern is clear that they don't respect these american people. they look down on the americans that support donald trump. they offer this promise that they are going to unite the country and then they needly go and try to demonize more than half the country and that's what's so offensive about it. its happened time and time and time again, and this ones undeniable. it's on video. watch it yourself. liz: i mean, this happened at the same time kamala harris was attacking trump last night. biden has been a being tariffing trump voters for years. harris has compared trump to hitler and biden called pennsylvania voters chumps in 2020.
5:08 pm
hillary clinton called them deplorables in 2016. so when you put it all together and you see the pattern, it's a pattern of relentless negativity of attacking trump in court, wanting to throw him in jail, and then you have trump just rolling along, barn storming on his positive policy agenda. >> yeah, i mean, you had president obama, you know, talking about clinging to their guns and their religion, in a negative way, and nats what's so fundamentally wrong. look, it fires up donald trump's base. independents right on the fence, it goes to another chink in the chain that just comes off the rails for the democrats. they are not -- remember when michelle obama, she would say, when they go low, we go high. there's no evidence that they actually do this. they continually try to take down and demonize
5:09 pm
the republicans and independents who want to support donald trump and it's a way to lose an election. liz: yeah, well listen to democrat pennsylvania governor josh shapiro and vivek ramaswamy on what happened. watch. >> i would never insult the good people of pennsylvania or any americans even if they chose to support a candidate that i didn't support. >> here is the october surprise. it just arrived. this is the basket of deplorables moment that's what hillary clinton said in 2016 that tanked her campaign. that's the joe biden kamala harris moment right now. liz: you know, we are in a unique moment, jason. the media all day has been down playing what biden said. let me backup. biden is one of the most divisive presidents we've ever seen. obama is divisive tooment when you take out the names biden and obama and just look at the rhetoric it's poisonous. we've seen it happening for years. this is a unique period in america, when we have been living in an abnormal time, and
5:10 pm
what do you make of the media today down playing all of this trying to basically inoculate biden against it? >> no they are demonstrating once again that they are pro-biden and harris and do everything they can to demonize donald trump and to support kamala harris but the american people can see it and hear it in their own, right on television themselves. donald trump is going to win this election and win it by a comfortable margin. liz: we'll stay on it jason thanks for joining us jason chaffetz there. good to see you. >> president biden last night about garbage, made that comment. >> listen, i think that first of all he clarified his comments. >> do you sympathize with [inaudible]. >> i am running for president of the united states. i will be traveling to three states today to do what i have been doing. liz: you heard that vice president kamala harris first her answer to basically saying can you sympathize?
5:11 pm
she was asked can you sympathize how biden insulted half the nation. can you sympathize with those voters? she said i'm running for president and then she claimed he clarified it. the white house altered the transcript. he called the voters garbage, voters for trump and then she's distancing herself from this. it was a mess of the day for the biden white house and kamala harris' campaign. let's bring in former treasury secretary for public affairs monica crowley. what do you make of all of this? we've got reports that kamala harris' aids and her staffers are really angry about this. and biden is mad at kamala. this overshadowed harris' speech last night where she was attacking trump. >> yeah, her big speech last night, liz, and by the way, she chose washington d.c. for this big final speech. notice she didn't go into any of the swing states. she didn't deliver the speech in pennsylvania or michigan or wisconsin or georgia. she chose washington because that is the only place where she can actually drive a crowd.
5:12 pm
in this speech she meant this to be her closing argument and joe biden, her boss, stepped all over her last night by making this comment about more than half of the country being garbage. so, there's some speculation, liz, that joe biden is actually deliberately torpedoeing her campaign and is going to end up voting for donald trump, i don't know if that is true but this is a messaging disaster on the part of joe biden the white house, kamala and her campaign today trying to clean it up. this is know what you want to see from a campaign going into the final days. liz: i mean, why make a speech in front of the white house? it links her closely to the biden white house. she's been the incumbent vice president for four years. when voters go into the booth don't they say what are you going to do for me and think about the cost of living, feeding their families, putting gas in their car. they see the border collapse.
5:13 pm
we're seeing donald trump inflation all over the swing states, but she said trump 24 times in a half hour speech and fabricated and made up what trump's policies are. look at her false claims that trump wants the national sales tax and will restrict access to birth control. all of that is fabrication and lies. final word monica? >> it's all totally false but she has nothing else. i mean when she was asked whether or not she would change a single thing over the last four years where she's been the number two highest office-holder in the land she said no, i really can't think of anything. the american people see an object historic catastrophe under biden-harris, harris biden, so the idea that she can run on her record, she can not. so the only thing she's got left is attacking trump and you know what? it's not working. nothing is sticking. the american people want to change and they want to go back to the successes of president trump. liz: monica crowley wonderful to see you again. thanks for joining us. tonight less than a week to go

it's unique to pennsylvania a county-run courtesy method for people to apply, fill it out and submit it, takes about 10-15 minutes each person and because of that bucks county officials said they could not accommodate the volume. they could apply for a mail-in ballot by 5 p.m., but not everybody wanted to do that. we spoke with one woman who was initially told she arrived too late to submit her on-demand ballot this afternoon she came right back after the judge's ruling. >> by mail, so we're all voting by mail, and the fact that we weren't able to do it, when we all counted on being able to do it, you know, and i don't consider it a trump victory or a democratic victory, because we're all americans. we all have the right to vote. it's one of our civic duties. reporter: yeah, so this on demand mail-in voting is back in action through 5 p.m. on friday. the bucks county board of elections did reach out for clarification though on the ruling, liz.
