microsoft and meda seem to be killing the whole market. what's going on? >> and talking about those numbers they talked about the they have to spend over the next three years on a i, the future of magnetek. if you get granular on it what they need our data centers. two years ago a data center would be one hundred megawatts which is a big project in any city. today because of demand and new chips coming through, they need 500 megawatts. and two years they will need a gigawatt. the amount of power available in any state is a fraction of that. the demand is 30 gw of data centers in the next 23 years and only have 5 gigs on the boards may be. maybe. if you go to a statement say i want 500 megawatts of power they can't do it, they don't have it, they don't have the infrastructure ford and the ratepayers will go through the roof on their costs. this is the biggest problem we have in terms of staying ahead in a i particularly for the feds.

they can't find the power. stuart: got to change the subject. that was good stuff, thanks very much. a judge in philadelphia is holding hearing on a bid to shut down elon musk's one million-dollar daily giveaway for voters. i believe musk was ordered to attend but didn't show up so what happens now? >> elon musk did not show up to this hearing, his lawyers say they will file a motion for future hearings because he's a busy man, the judge is going to punt this to federal court. elon's lawyers say this should be moved to federal court so that decision has to be sorted out. in the meantime we were supposed to get a decision from this judge on whether or not they were going to stop elon musk's one million-dollar giveaway not only here in pennsylvania but also in the other 6 battleground states. this is an effort by musk to help donald trump win this election.

for the last two weeks musk at his political action group america pac have been handing out $1 million a day to a one voter who signed a pledge to support the first and second amendments. on monday, liberal district attorney larry krasner filed a lawsuit claiming the sweepstakes was running an illegal lottery violating pennsylvania's consumer protections, the suit reading americapack and musk must be stopped immediately. there lottery scheme and unfair deceptive conduct will irreparably harm philadelphians and others in pennsylvania as well as tarnish the public's right to a free and fair election. the press requested more security for the hearing because he says he's been getting many anti-semitic attacks after musk shared a post that said krasner, quote, knows the sweepstakes is illegal but wants a leftist judge to stop it before election day. musk responded with a one hundred a moji, this is the latest legal election battle that is underway across

pennsylvania where fox polls show a tied race among likely voters both campaign's view pennsylvania as a must win and everything is being scrutinized. for instance republicans successfully sued a judge yesterday extending in person on demand mail-in voting in bucks county after voters there said lines are being cut short early and people were being turned away. democrats are also suing in erie county, they say 20,000 voters there that have yet to receive their mail-in ballot and the post office has no idea where 1800 and their mail ballots are. bottom line, this case, no decision in state court. we will see if it goes to federal court. stuart: thanks very much indeed. programming note, be sure to watch may musk, the mother of the line at 6:30 eastern time, the bottom line on fox business. mitchell brown, gop pollster joins me now. very much a man in the news. i want to know if the election were held today, who would win? >> great to see you again.

i still believe donald trump would win, the momentum has been showing that for the past month and 1/2 but i want to preface this statement, this election is going to be even closer than 2016-2020, we are talking about 10,000 people spread across three or four states that will decide this election. it will be razor thin in the swing state polls, holding true to the state. stuart: that sounds like we are going to have a hard time getting a firm on tuesday night. will it drag on? >> i would be surprised if we wake up wednesday and have a result. georgia and north carolina should be fine but its own out -- arizona, pennsylvania, wisconsin, the secretaries of state of michigan, wisconsin, pennsylvania, telling people they won't have election results that night.

stuart: there's been a lot of early voting. who does it favor? >> early voting necessarily does not favor either party but when you see turnout numbers, that is where you see troubling signs for the trump team. let's say turnout is above what it was in 2,020 in swing states. that's not good for the trump campaign. north carolina specifically. we've been tracking our data where he can still win despite having superhigh turnout. if it is 2,020 turnout, trump wins georgia and north carolina. if it is 5% higher than 2020, trump can still win but if it eclipses that, we get into territory where these new registered voters coming out are not going to be traditional trump voters and it could sway the election. stuart: hold on a second. kevin o'leary is with me and he has a question for you. go ahead. >> speaking to one of the insiders in the democratic

stuart: on the markets, look at them go down. the s&p is down 77, that's one. 3%, nasdaq is down 2% and the dow industrials are up 320 points. show me the chipmakers, across the board move, they are all down significantly. nvidia is down 3.7%. this morning we received the latest inflation news, personal consumption expenditure number, the fed likes to watch this gauge of inflation up 2. one% over the past year. edward lawrence joined us from the white house. new york times headline, inflation is back to normal. what do you say? >> overall but federal reserve will look at this and say year-over-year inflation is that close to the 2% target. the problem is when you look under the ticket, under the onion and you peel it back, core inflation without food and

energy prices is a problem and the federal reserve is looking at 2. 7%, much closer to 3% year-over-year since july. and it stayed there. with that sticky inflation on the core side, it is up 20% since president biden and vice president harris came into office, affect record credit card debt which is why i pushed jared bernstein yesterday. >> you talk about the credit, almost treading water, servicing and pushing that debt along. >> as long as your income, they can service that debt. if you look at getting ahead, a couple of parts to this. you are right, you want to service your debt while getting ahead. >> it's like taking four steps back and two steps forward, voters must decide of those two

certainly plausible. stuart: what would you suggest to reduce stress? >> people need to recognize the echo chambers of media outlets that are affirming what people already believe and recognize there are significant issues, when i dial to msnbc i wonder if i should immigrate out of this country i get so scared but we need to recognize a lot of it is ratings driven. stuart: it is all in your own head? got to straighten your own head out if you want to reduce stress? >> i think about our own field of healthcare, there are real issues we never dealt before about the corporate capture by big pharma and other agencies, that on the ballot this election, this is a big election. blue when daylight savings time ends on sunday. we gain an extra hour of sleep. there are some who say that is

interrupting the sleep pattern and can have bad side effects like hurting your heart. is that accurate? >> yes. you are going to hear a lot of things about daylight savings time. we have been ignoring circadian physiology and thinking about the power supplier, the electrical grid and the economic value of daylight savings time. we've not thought about what it means for children when we wake them up very early to go to school not because it is good for their physiology but because it is convenient for adults. when you look at accident rates, there's a higher risk of accidents when people lose sleep in the spring. i think we've ignored circadian physiology for a long time and it is important to recognize there are things you can do. when you wake up in the morning look at the sun or get outside and that will help your mood and outlook. stuart: would you end daylight savings time for the whole year?
