really closely and secondarily, you can look at some names in the industrials that are on the electrical component side who can benefit. you're also still looking at some of the utilities that can benefit. so it's not just those names. you get some of the secondary and tertiary a plays around the. liz: always nice to have a few utilities because they pay out nice dividends, right? >> if you told me 10 years ago you'll be talking about utilities as a growth play i would have said you're crazy, and yet here we are. i think reality is you get great dividends coupled with you get the associated play with data centers and growth in a.i., so it's a nice little trade. >> [closing bell ringing] liz: folks markets in the green today, in the red at least for the week. election day an the federal reserve meeting next week you've got to join the "clayman countdown." larry: hello folks welcome to kudlow i'm larry kudlow.

a gusher of new lies and smears from the biden-harris democrats once again it's backfiring actually boosting president trump. we've got governor sarah sanders on all of this in just a moment. senators marco rubio and john corn in waiting in the wings but first up our own grady trimble live in detroit, michigan. grady? what you doing out there? reporter: hey, larry. yeah, well we are covering this thing called an election in a few days, and we're covering specifically comments made by president biden and then by billionaire mark cuban. those first comments heard around the political world certainly made by president biden the garbage comment, if you will, forcing the vice president and her campaign to sort of disassociate themselves from president biden after the comments, and now, the campaign is on the defensive once again after mark cuban, the billionaire harris supporter, said this.

>> yeah, i mean, yes it'll put her over the edge with nikki haley supporters. donald trump you never see him around strong, intelligent women, ever. it's just that simple. they are intimidating to him. he doesn't like to be challenged by them. reporter: well a number of women who support former president trump took issue with those comments, and they are coming to trump's defense. senior advisor suzi whiles in a rare post on x says i'm told mark cuban needs help by identifying the strong intelligent women surrounding president trump. well here we are and martin luther king jr.'s niece says mark cuban has no place to say what he did. real donald trump, i'm standing with you. here is senator j.d. vance today here in michigan. >> so i wish that mark cuban and kamala harris and their entire campaign stopped insulting the people they disagreed with and maybe talked about kamala harris' record a

little bit but the reason i think they have decided to insult people is because they don't have a record to run on. reporter: and separately, uaw's president shawn fane will hold a big get out the vote event for the democratic candidate here at the uaw's headquarters in detroit joined by progressive congresswoman aoc, but here is the thing, larry. former president trump is holding a rally in about 30 minutes about 20 minutes from where i'm standing, and he has been rather persuasive winning over those auto workers who say they are being crushed by higher prices and who have serious concerns about the biden-harris administration's electric vehicle mandate. something that former president trump keeps bringing up when he visits michigan. larry? larry: all those uaw workers go to the trump rally. you'll have like six people at the official rally. anyway, grady trimble, hope you get out of detroit okay.

thanks for helping us today. now folks more lies and smears from biden-harris so that's the subject of the rif. you know, out of respect for the office of the president, and i have served two of them, it gives me no pleasure to make this case. joe biden and kamala harris have consistently lied more than any administration i can think of. in recent years i've tried to describe this as cognitive untruth but the plain reality is they keep lying. just yesterday, of course president biden and his press secretary tried to lie their way out of the only garbage i see floating out there is his supporters. the press office tried to budget by of course sticking an apostrophe in the quote to suggest that he was only referring to a comedian. rather than the 80 million something people who voted for donald trump. but you can't getaway with that. no lies in the information age.

even the official white house stenographer ejected about the phone eediting about the official transcript that will make it into the archive and they called it a breach of protocol and spoliation of transcript in at thing it between the stenography and press office so i'd say basically mr. biden's integrity there he goes again. the other big lie yesterday of course came from billionaire kamala surrogate mark cuban saying, you never see trump around strong, intelligent women ever. just a stupid lie from cuban, but so far, neither biden nor harris have disagreed as far as i know. you know who does disagree? sarah sanders will be here in a minute. suzi whiles, kellyanne conway,

kayleigh mcenany, brook rollins, linda mcmahon, elise stefanik, judith kudlow and a whole endless list of strong and intelligent women working with mr. trump, be way too long for this rif. but let's move on to today's dismal jobs report. the worst in three-years where private sector jobs fell 102000. the past two months revised down 112,000, remember, the prior evaporation of 818,000 jobs. the only real increases came from government, 9 1,000. there are 13 million unemployed or under employed and over the past 12 months native born workers lost nearly 800,000 jobs while farm workers have gained over 1 million. while manufacturing jobs continue to downturn, the ism manufacturing index remains in recession. this all brings to mind another

lie that 16 million jobs were created during the biden-harris administration. no they weren't. kamala has repeated this 100 times but it's not true. taking out the covid bounce back job they created 6.7 million all right? not 16 million. it's about the same as what mr. trump had pre-covid. related lie they created 800,000 manufacturing jobs. but take out the bounce back effect it's only 93,000 manufacturing. by the way, way less than trump's 414,000 jobs. and the information age, you can't lie about these numbers. everybody has access to the same government statistics and that brings to mind the lie that when biden-harris took over in 2021, they inherited a depression-like economy. simply untrue. trump gave them a v-shaped covid recovery and the third quarter of 2020 the economy rebounded by

35% followed by 4.5% in q4 and 5.5% in 2021 and then biden-harris issued another lie they inherited a major inflation rate completely untrue. trump handed them over a 1.4% inflation rate which they ran up to 9% and has averaged about 6% annually over their whole term. over and over, biden-harris argue that they were reducing the federal budget deficit. they made this case again and again but another lie, because budget deficits are running $2 trillion, as far as the eye can see , according to the cbo baseline. again, why lie ordinary folks can dial up their computers and get the real numbers. no problem. and then biden-harris lied about billionaires only paying an 8% tax rate. but they base this on a law to tax unrealized capital gains that would never pass by congress. besides, the economy.

kamala keeps saying trump would ban abortion nationwide. this is a lie. trump has rejected this idea at every opportunity saying it is best handled by the states, as per the recent supreme court decision and then kamala argued that trump would restrict access to birth control and ivf also complete lie. trump has said every campaign stop, and there is the trash talk, desperation lies from kamala. trump is a fascist, he's hitler, a racist. he was a russian agent. he's bigoted, sexist, on and on and on. all this utter nonsense. you know, former trump budget director and chief of staff nick mulvaney has written all of the time he spent with trump he never heard anything about hitler, and i'll tell you folks i went to hundreds of meetings in the oval and elsewhere. never heard anything about hitler. the whole threat to democracy

business that kamala continues to push is an old argument that has no standing. remember, it was the biden-harris justice department that weaponized lawfare against mr. trump and tried to throw him in jail for 750 years. it all failed on appeal and kamala's trash talking to avoid talking about her failed kitchen table issues of higher prices, falling real wages, the affordability crisis for homes, cars, and everyday necessities and the massive border crisis and the crime wave that followed it and the world on fire in afghanistan, and ukraine, and the middle east. kamala broke it. mr. trump intends to fix it. but you know, the gusher of lies from president biden and vice president harris shows an enormous character defect that from day one has undermined

their credibility and the trust of voters. all right, there are four days left until the election and that's my rif. now, great pleasure, more than great pleasure, to bring in arkansas governor my dear friend sarah sanders. thank you for doing this. sarah, i would say that you are a strong, intelligent woman, whose worked with donald trump and i don't know what mark cuban is talking about. you're like the prime example. anyway, when you heard it what did you think? >> [laughter] i mean, how insulting to the millions of women who have supported voted for , cheered on, and frankly been empowered by donald trump's policies. it is absolutely absurd but not only that it's laughable to think that mark cuban can insult that many women across our country particularly when the left can't even tell you what a woman is, much less to go after and attack those that

supported this president. i think it's one of the key differences we'll see propel him to victory on tuesday and something i'm very excited to see because we have got to get rid of the biden-harris failed policies. we can't trust them to tell the truth about donald trump and we can't trust them on the big things that are happening around the country whether it's the economy, the border, national security. they fail time and time again and america is desperate for change and donald trump is going to bring that on tuesday. larry: sarah, you know this trash talk, mud slinging name calling fascism and hitler and look, you were in the oval hundreds of times yourself. i don't know. did you ever hear him talk about hitler? you >> not only did i not hear that, but what a disgusting thing to say to compare a president who literally did so

many great things for our country, country has time and tn taken hit after hit and continue to keep fighting for this country because he loves america and how disgraceful to say that word, use that term, and to equate him to someone so evil, so awful. i think it's one of the most disqualifying things that we've heard from this campaign and they've had a lot of disqualifying moment but that ranks at the top of the list. larry: i mean, governor sarah sanders, the last few days of the campaign you've got all this mud slinging and trash talk and smearing him and so forth. it kind of backfired. there is still a sleighs of slif so-called independents. some may well be women. do you think it'll back fire? does it give trump an extra point or two, maybe across the country? >> absolutely. look, in politics you can expect

it to be difficult. you can expect there to be plenty of back and forth. my dad told me long ago if you don't like the sight of your own blood don't run for office because you'll see plenty of it. this is a full contact sport so i don't think anybody is expecting that it will be a cake walk, but the level of i think just disgraceful comments that have come from biden, from harris, and their supporters, when it comes to calling half of the country garbage, comparing them to one of the most evil people to ever walk the planet, those are disgraceful disqualifying terms and it is definitely going to back fire and it'll be one of the key reasons that you're going to see not only their bad rhetoric but their bad policies will be the reason donald trump wins on tuesday, and wins big, and i think that the country is going to be infinitely better because of it. larry: you know, i remember a couple years ago, you gave a fabulous state of the union rebuttal, and if my memory

serves me, i know i'm old but if my memory serves me, sarah sanders, you setup this paradigm of normal and crazy, remember the normal and crazy? i think that's kind of the way you put it, comparing what common sense would dictate versus what you were seeing out of the far left biden-harris. now if i'm wrong please tell me what the exact wording is, but i think that's what you were saying, and i just wonder, it's sort of like now, today, everything you said way back then is even truer. >> larry i would never say that you're wrong especially not on your own show and i don't think you look a day over 40 so you certainly have all of the energy of a 20-year-old with the look of a 40-year-old but you're exactly right. this race and i think that the decision point for america is do you want to go down the path of crazy policies that

we're seeing under the left and under the biden-harris administration? if you like the direction they are taking our country, they're there. if you want normal empowering policies then donald trump is the candidate that you need to vote for and support and i hope that millions of americans will do exactly that and make sure that their voice is heard loud and clear and that we remind the left that we do not want their crazy policies infiltrating our homes, schools, our businesses, our communities, but we want to be empowered to make our own decisions and that's exactly what donald trump will deliver and one of the key differences in this race, and i think it will be deciding factor on tuesday. larry: yeah, just last one. i mean, it's the economy and inflation of course it's the open border and the crime wave, but you know what else? i mean, these woke values. they are ruining the culture. a lot of people with common sense people, ordinary, middle class working folks don't like

the woke cultural stuff. as you say whether it's in schools, or biological men playing women's basketball. i think there's a quiet revolt against that that's going to show up at the polls may not pick it up but it's going to show up in the votes sarah. there's a cultural revolution, a cultural rebellion going on. >> it's people who absolutely love our country and want america to remain the greatest country on the face of the planet. we still want america to stand for something. the reason america's great, the reason that it is the best country that the world has ever known is because we're the freeest country the world has ever known and we have a government that is set against and wants to takeaway that freedom but thankfully, there are millions of americans who are not going to allow that to happen. they are going to stand up, make their voices heard and vote for donald trump on tuesday and remind the left that we don't want their bad destructive

americans seem to be taking them away. we welcome to the show florida senator marco rubio. senator rubio, good to see you, sir. i know this is the subject that interests you a lot. this whole imbalance, native born jobless, about a million if i'm not mistaking over the past 12 months maybe slightly less, and about a million have gone too foreign born workers. what do you think about it, senator? >> yeah, if you think all of the net jobs in the last, you know, three and a half years have all gone to people not born in the united states. now, some of them are us citizens have been here a while but a significant percentage is being driven by migrants coming into the country, that biden and harris have allowed in, and so what the numbers tell us is there are people that have lived here most have not their entire lives who have lost jobs, meanwhile some of those jobs are being taken, the new jobs are being taken by people coming from overseas and we know a large number, nine, 10, 11 million have come un in just

the last three-years because of the open border. that's extraordinary. look this is probably i could argue the worst jobs numbers, the ones we got in october, the worst job numbers in history. what really bothers me is the way that every one of these now, i think 14 of the last 16 massive down reductions, you know, adjustments that come back and revies the numbers but the media runs with the headline. look at the great numbers for biden and harris the economy is turning around and they come back and revise them. when i said that last month they said i was lying and biden said he was lying from the podium at the white house and here we get the revisions for august and september, another downward revision, combined 112,000 jobs less than what they said had been created. larry: yeah, you know, you're right about that 112,000. it's like these jobs evaporate. the big one was 818,000. we probably will see it again. some people think when you see these downward revisions, it's a sign of a recession

that's pending. the other thing is, unemployed and under employed marginally attach, those numbers are up well over 13 million. so i just wonder, i mean, there are other things going on but this is part of the kitchen table i think failure of kamala harris and joe biden. >> absolutely. larry: they don't want to talk about this. they rather call us all nazis and fascists. but they don't want to talk about this , senator. >> why would you talk about a record like that which is their record but people feel it in their lives. this is enormous disconnect between the people talking about finance, including what i think is theres any doubt that in the last week, we have seen a disinformation campaign by major media that has no precedent ranging from everything to say trump called for liz cheney's execution which is a lie, all the way to trying to cover up what biden said the other night calling all of trump supporters garbage but this is part of the disinformation. they go out there and they say oh, the economy is doing great

and they have spent months trying to convince people our economy is doing well and they don't, they point to things like the unemployment number which doesn't tell you and doesn't account for the millions of people that you've just cited that the have stopped looking for work or basically are working off and on as they need but not really the kind of work people want in order to start a family and build communities and get ahead in life but that disconnect in people's real lives they feel it and see it and feel this everyday and that's why overwhelming number of americans are not happy with the direction of our country so yeah. if i'm the vice president, like kamala harris is now, under biden administration that presided over this economic disaster, i don't want to talk about that. i want to talk about fascist, nazis, garbage supporters of trump, anything but their record is what they want this to be about. larry: you know, correct me if i'm wrong but you were the one actually campaigning with trump, and i think you were the one that told him about the garbage statement. i think you leaned into him and told him that. i don't know what he said to you, right at that point, but

where i'm going here is all these smears, which you mentioned i've talked about it on the show many nights, all these smear, senator rubio, i think they are going to hurt, not help, kamala harris. i think they are going to help, not hurt, donald trump. it's kind of like, you know, throwing him in jail for 750 years and all of the weaponization. that stuff helped trump, and people are smart. they see it. they see a lie. they see a smear. they see a trashing, and they say that's not for me. what do you think of that? politically does it hurt trump? this is like their closing statement is a bunch of smears? >> i think it does hurt because it indicates like almost a public temper tantrum. these people, what joe biden said outloud is what most of them believe including in the media and all these democratic activists. they absolutely despise people that vote for trump and they absolutely dize these people that are supporting them.

they don't understand why half the country ronald reagan more d trump and they won't say that until now at the end when they realize, their mind is like this. how could this possibly be a close race? the only way it can be a close race is because half the country are really either dumb or even evil people. that's who supports donald trump. and they are having a temper tantrum about it. they despise the supporters. i've followed every campaign the last 53 years of my life but i can't recall a time in which a campaign forget about attacking candidates. attack the people who support the candidate, with a broad brush, just say they are all terrible people or evil, and insulting women by saying the only reason some women are voting for trump is because their husband's are making them vote for trump. i mean, such like that. encouraging them to keep their vote from their husband and others. now we saw mark cuban said the other day, that's truly the stuff they believe and when you're angry that you can't believe your about to lose this thing you say outloud what

you deeply believe inside and say to each other that's what we're hearing and that's the final insight people need to see how condescending these people truly are. larry: senator rubio, last one. you're an influential leader in the republican party. where are you spending the next four days? go back to traveling with trump or how will you spend your time the last four days, sir? >> we're talking to him about that now. he's got a bunch of rallies, like seven in just the last 24 hours of the campaign, so we may be hooking up with them and a couple of those sites as well, and doing interviews and town halls. i'm going to do whatever they need me to do because this is truly the most important election of my lifetime and i've been saying that every election. they keep getting more important but i honestly, i worked with kamala harris in the senate. i can not imagine what this country will be if she's our president. honestly we're headed for an era of poverty, an era of insecurity, unsafe here at home, and i think we're headed for an era of insecurity in the world that leads to war.

term. that's what pushes them over the edge to say okay, i'm going to go and make the plunge on tuesday, if they haven't top itt already. what are the issues? the economy is not as good as four years ago. the military is in big trouble. the federal reserve doesn't know how to fight inflation which has done enormous damage so people say, we survived under trump, things were pretty good, let's go for it again. contrast, it's almost like north and south korea between the two economies. between trump and biden-harris. so, i think it's good and by the way i think maybe just a little bit the rhetoric is getting better. i saw a little photo thing where they have trump in the garbage truck and trump at mcdonald's saying this shows how bad things are. larry: [laughter] >> the seniors have to take two jobs. >> [laughter] larry: i have yet to see that. >> nailed it. >> so maybe things are loosening up. larry: emily?

i know you're not the economist, but just trust me. today's jobs report was very bad report. probably the worst report in three-years. so this is kind of like the last number that's coming out before the election. is it going to have an effect and i ask that in the sense of kitchen tables, okay? affordability, wages, can i buy a car, can i buy a home, can i believe that i'm going to have a job in six months? what do you think about that? >> yeah, you were right. i'm not an economist but i have a family business. my father owns and operates a very small winery in oregon, so that's agricultural and also alcohol, and that is the most highly-regulated two industries and we have felt now for four years the most massive crunch and the whole time, and it started with covid and the whole time we refused to push that cost to the consumer or the client because we believe deeply in our community that

we've cultivated and it's very small town we're in, a farming community so my dad takes the brunt so my family have had to make very different decisions business and personal, and professional in the last four years so yes. going to the polls of course that jobs report will impact anyone that operates a small business right now or any type of job where they have seen an absolute labor, of an increase of regulations, and absolute difficulty of tax and every dollar counting so much more in your pocket, but meaning so much less in the bank account. larry: pretty good. i mean, as a non-economist that's a pretty good rif. that was really got. >> should nominate you for the federal reserve. >> oh, gosh i don't know about that. larry: i got job openings, treasury, i don't know. charlie? please, 20 seconds. early voting, can we pull anything out from that? >> well, obviously i totally agree with emily but the problem and what helps democrats is

good job hustling around as best he can. the head of the senate campaign committee, or you think he's not doing a good job? >> no i think hings done a he'a fantastic job. i did that job for two terms back in 2010, 2012. i think you remember that since you and i had conversations at the time, but he's done a fantastic job but no two elections are alike and the democrats are just pouring it on in terms of the small dollar contributions that they are better than we are at raising, so weave got good candidates. we've got the right issues. we just need the resources to be able to defend our candidates and tell our story. larry: you've got four days left. did you know, sir, what the happens in four days somewhat is senator corny nfl do? n do?do you focus on any particr

state like some people focus on nevada? looks like sam brown might be able to win. what are you thinking, sir? >> i'm focused on all of the above. i'm looking at the voter registration number, the turnout numbers, obviously there's a lot of enthusiasm, people don't like the direction the country is heading in, they want a change and president trump is that change agent. chuck schumer needs to be fired and we need to regain the majority and get control of our spending, and increase our ability to deter our adversaries around the world. our friends don't trust us and our adversaries don't fear us any more under the biden-harris administration. larry: you going to run for republican leader, john thune will run, although i haven't asked him personally but i read about it all the time. rick scott will run all the time i have asked him. you going to run too? can you win that race, senator? >> i think so, but it's a unique race, larry, because you

know who the voters are and it's a secret ballot, and so i've been through this quite a few times before, but the relationships you build with your colleagues is important. their ability to trust you and depending on you to you to help the team but also we need bold leadership because we have big problems, $35 trillion indebt and again, the most dangerous geopolitical situation we've seen since world war ii, so we're going to have to do hard things but i think during the second trump term, we're capable of doing that if we demonstrate the courage and order to attack these problems that are not going to get any better on their own. larry: i've got 20 seconds senator cornyn. when mr. trump won in 2016, a lot of republican senators in 2017 didn't like him so my question to you, will you back him? will you back his agenda? can you work with him? 20 seconds, sir. >> that's the job. if you're in the majority party, and the senate or the house your job is to supreme court for
