ever. rfk jr. will run health and human services. kennedys has radical plans. what he calls the caron cantic disease epidemic, he's taking aim at them all. the medical community is alarmed. the president-elect wants to get his cabinet installed fast. he wants them installed with recess appointments meaning no long, drawn-out senate hearings. senate majority leader john thune says all options are on the table. bottom line here, trump will get most, if not all his appointees through. his transformation of governments has begun. to the markets, affected by fed chair powell's declaration that he's in no hurry to cut interest rates. the dow do off 160, and look at the nasdaq, down close to 200 points. interest rates actually little changed, the yield on the 10-year is up fractionally at 4.45, and the 32-year is coming in at 4.34% -- 2-year. not much change. bitcoin, last time we checked it

was $89,000, moved up, $90,000 a coin. oil is at $67 a barrel. gas, no change, $3.08 for regular and no change for diesel either, $3.55. gold, way off its highs, $2,571 an ounce. on the show today, the "wall street journal" reports that the cartels in charge of illegal migration have taken to social media to urge migrants to cross the border soon. they're worried about trump's border czar, or tom homan, worried he will close it up. and there are reports that border agents are being taken off their can desk jobs and sent to the field. the journal also reports that elon musk held a secret meeting with the iranian ambassador to the united nations. the foreign policy establishment not happy with that. how come kamala harris did worse with black, hispanic, women and young voters than joe biden did in 2020? looks like identity politics has broken down all kinds of

rfk jr. tapped as health and human services secretary. the president-elect has told him to go wild on health, and he plans to do just that. kennedy is another appointee who will bring in radical reform of government. john sala will be attorney general and doug burgum for interior secretary. the appointments coming quickly. nominees are expected for press secretary soon. he's looking to skip the senate confirmation if process. listen to what senate majority leader-elect john thune had to say about trump's picks. >> the president got a big mandate, the american people want change in this country. they're tired of the biden-harris-schumer agenda, and they want president trump to fix some things. and he wants to get a team in place that can do that, and we're going to work with him to see that he gets his team installed as quickly as possible so he can implement his agenda.

all these people have a process they have to go through. we also have are not going to the allow the democrats to obstruct or block president trump and the will of the american people. none of this is going to be easy but, you know, again, president trump had a huge mandate from the american people. stuart: tammy bruce is with us, as usual on a friday morning. do you think voters are onboard with the real, radical reform of the justice department, the health department and the military? are hay onboard? >> absolutely. he was blunt during the campaign, and these very quick moves are a message to everyone that wasn't just campaign talk. this is real life, and it's happening right now, every minute. it's like i've analogized it to being with like you're on the tea party ride at disneyland where you spin the teacups? stuart: the teacup ride. >> you're having a great time, but you think you might get sick. voted for, and this is for the first time you had a lot of specifics, dramatic specificsment things that it's changing everything. and that's why he got the mandate he did. so john thune should realize that this isn't just kind of another campaign with more promises made. all of these nomineeses are scream it's different now. it is not the usual, you know, portal of how you get your nominees. and so of course they're going to be controversial. we don't care. trump is controversial. this is change, it's the obviously his agenda for the next four years. he's never going to stop and neither are we. so hold on. and it should be fun. stuart: okay. hold on tight, the teacup ride. listen to what trump had to say last night about the republican sweep. here it is the. >> the american people have just delivered really something very, very amazing, the biggest political victory in 129 the

years. so we swept all swing sateses, we won -- states, we won the popular vote, won the white house, recaptured the senate and now, as of odd to, recaptured the house. we won 49 out of 50 states, shifted toward the gop senate significantly. so we won the largest share of black is and hispanic votes of any if republican in the history of our dun. we won -- of our country. that's so incredible. stuart: he just laid it out, or he's got a mandate. >> he does. and is it's even more than the traditional mandate. you can be elected and have everyone say, yeah, you're great, but he was elected on that specific dynamic. he ran with robert kennedy, he ran with elon musk. he ran as this person who was going to flip the table. and we said it's like handing a guy the keys to the corvette on an empty road and the gas tank is full and we with say, go get 'em. so we're in the going to micromanage him.

some things may need to change, who knows? but he is in charge. and everyone in washington had better realize it. this is the way that we want it. we're not guessing it's not because, you know with, he's such a great guy, but he is, but it's the because of what he said he would do. and everyone, everyone said, yeah, go. stuart: the media's going to go ballistic. well, they have already -- >> have fun, right? let them continue -- stuart: tammy bruce on a friday morning. >> thank you, sir. stuart: we have a new read on the economy. came out this morning. it's the october retail sales report. madison alworth with me. >> coming in stronger than expected in october. sales increasing by .4% month over month and 2.8% annualliful digging a little bit deeper, sales from online retail surged 7% compared to october last year. food was up 2.3%, but slowing sales in electron ticks and less money spent on gas. the last part likely thanks the

to gas prices coming down. so overall, stronger report than expected. this could signal a resilient consumer. powell has been saying that the, you know, comments yesterday that there's no rush to lower rates. and if we had that report today to show that. stuart: that does, indeed. madison, thank you. check futures, please. i see a ton of red ink, dow off 180, nasdaq down over 2020points. kenny if poll a carry -- kenny polcari with me. powell's comments on interest rates, is that enough to end the trump rally? >> no, no, i don't think it's enough to end the trump rally, but i do think it's it's enough to kind of let the market rethink, right? it had a massive move after the trump rally which, you know, that's fine. that's positive in one case. but the reality is that jay powell has to look at the economic data and tell the country, look, rates are not going to go as low as we thought two months ago or the way we set it up to be the consumer remains

strong and that's actually good, and that suggests rates should stay just where they are. the algos will have a temper tantrum, ask if they'll sell stocks, but i think we'll fill that gap created on november 5th and 6th and then the market will start to focus once again on trump. it'll come, congresswoman to its senses concern come to its senses about rates and start the focus on policy. stuart: if we get a dip, and it looks like a minor league kip so far this morning, who knows where that's going, but are you buying? >> yes. so, yes. i expect the market, like i said, is going to fill that gap. i want to see it fill that gap it created. yes, i would be buying the big names, names that we own, names that are the biggest names in the industry. and on pullbacks, right? in the on the 2 or 3% pullback, but on 5 or 8 or 10% pullbacks, absolutely, we'll be putting more money to work. stuart: i could sell some stocks

in my pension fund, pay no capital gains taxes, put it in a treasury bond and get 4.55, 5%, and when things turn back a around, i can go back to stocks and there's no tax implications. not a bad strategy? >> and you -- no, that's not a bad strategy. listen, we've had this conversation. stuart: we have. >> you should probably do that on, you should probably do that on some of your stuff because you in a different position. you're not a 50-year-old, you're a little bit bit older, so you've got the opportunity the to do that, right? and you should do that. and using that strategy and taking some money out and putting it into a money market fund, just getting ready for a pullback, would make perfect sense for you. stuart: i just want to avoid the capital gains taxes. i just don't want that -- >> understood. stuart: kenny, you're all right. have a good weekend, and we'll see you next week. >> you as well. stuart: coming up, elon musk inserting himself into foreign policy. he met with iran's ambassador to the united nations to discuss

stuart: friday morning, some red on your screen. nasdaq down 216 points. fed chair powell says he's in no hurry to lower are rates. that did it. bitcoin struggling back to -- it was at $990,000, now it's at 89,7. border patrol preparing for a surge at the border as we get closer to mr. trump's inauguration. brooke taylor is in eagle pass. how is border patrol preparing? >> reporter: well, stuart, the main thing that i've been seeing out here is just more dps troopers, more people on the ground. they hope this is going to send a really strong message to any migrants who see this as their last chance to cross the border here before trump goes into office in january, and there's going to be stricter immigration laws. we got to see what this looks

like firsthand. troopers conducting these massive migration exercises along the border. it means, again, they're ramping up the presence of troopers in areas known for heavy border crossings. s this is a program started back in 20 the 21. you may remember during the massive haitian influx in del rio. and it's t not just happening here in eagle pass, similar scenes unfolding across the southern border in places like brownsville and el paso. hundreds of migrants seen heading north hoping to eventually cross into the u.s. before their window of opportunity closes. >> the whole purpose is, so to prevent a surge of potential mass migration. when they see a show of force, all the police cars and national guard forces, that is a deterrent in itself. it's t the not going to be catch and release, you're actually going to be apprehended and deported back. >> reporter: and dp if s also concerned that smugglers are going to try to exploit the fear of migrants wanting to get in

before trump takes office. this happening just last week in hidalgo county, troopers chasing a car loaded with illegal migrants smuggled across the rio grande. and one major challenge that troopers face that i have seen firsthand is that the mexican cartel has been using drones. they'll fly it over the border here at night and during the day, and and they'll basically look for these opportunities and these windows where they can smuggle in people and also drugs. so that is something that they have to be on the lookout for, stuart. stuart: all right, brooke, thanks very much, indeed. terrell county, texas, the sheriff thereof, thaddeus cleveland, joins me now. sheriff, you're on the border. what are you seeing? >> good morning, institute. we're seeing -- stuart. we're seeing an increase in activity. but what's different between eagle pass and even out many el paso, here what we have are people mainly from mexico crossing our portion of the border that are looking to cross undetect thed, and they're willing to do whatever it takes to make their way into the united states.

but one bonus we have here, of course, are our border patrol agents. they're determined to stay at 'em, to continue to track and apprehend. and that allows us to get on the highways, it frees them up in the brush, and we take control of the highways out here. stuart: sheriff, there are some migrant shelters, they're in blue cities, they're being dismantled. this is a response to the flow slowing and the migrants are just moving on. however, doesn't that make it more difficult for i.c.e. to find and deport them, if they're scattered all over the mace? maybe it was deliberate. you scatter them out so i.c.e. can't get them. what do you think? >> stuart, i think that they're starting to break some of those shelters down and what not if because they know those ngos, nongovernmental to organizations, that the money's about to run are out. president trump and his folks will not allow those monies, federal monies, to trickle down. but to your point, yes, it may make it a bit difficult to find some of these criminal agents because, again, that's what this administration's going to target, the criminal alienings.

but i can tell you we've got some great employees at i.c.e., ero, which is their enforcement removal operations, and it's also going to take sate and local resources. local resources like sheriffs' office as and police departments that once they identify someone is here illegally, the keep them in their custody by utilizing delegated authority from the federal government and then turning them over to whether it's border patrol or i.c.e. we will see great strides in that program. stuart: i can see some bad publicity coming because you're going to have to create detention centers. the media will immediately call them internment camps, and that's going to sound bad, and you're going to get negative publicity. are you prepared for that? >> always, stuart. after spending 26 the years in the border patrol, we've never been a very glamorous or agency that's been in the limelight, if you will. we've got a great amount of workers to get out there and give it their all. but let me tell you what we'll also see, we'll see him take that funding from ngos, give

it to facilities, talking about actual correction facilities that can hold people, and we'll get back to being able to hold people whether in federal custody, state custody or local custody. we will see more beds open up, quit seeing people released, and it's going to be better for public security and americans overall. stuart: you look happy, very, and i'm sure -- sheriff, and i'm sure you are. >> i'm excited, stuart. i'm excited. stuart: i can tell. see you again soon. change the subject a little bit. it looks like one celebrity actually fold through on her promise to leave the country after trump won. who is it? >> it's the eva longoria. she has been spending time outside the u.s., and she says she's anxious and nervous if for americans who who can't escape their dystopian country. this all following trump's win. so longoria campaigned for harris and also spoke at the dnc. she was and clearly continues to be very strong in her anti-trump rhetoric saying now, quote, if

he -- trump -- keeps his promises, it's going to be a scary place. she's talking about the united states of america. longoria was born here in texas, but she splits her time between the u.s., spain and mexico. t not like she's fully moving somewhere new, she has these other properties, but she does seem to be one of the rare hollywood elites actually keeping her promise to move outside the u.s. in an interview with marie claire, she said, quote, i get to escape and go somewhere. most americans aren't so lucky. they're going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them. she's privileged to be able to do this, but i would think we talk about the immigration all the time, there's a ton of people that would love to be in this country and do not share that -- stuart: i'll buy a ticket for any celebrity wants to leave. i take it back. >> watch out, stu. (fisher investments) at fisher investments, we're clearly different. stuart: futures, all red. dow off 199 0, nasdaq getting worse, down 250 to. mark mahaney with us. you brought us some postelection stock picks. start with am. still your number one, i this -- amazon. >> i think so. i don't think investors look at big tech should probably change the weightings of their stock. i continue to like amazon, then uber, then doordash. i think at a high level anything that a brings down corporate tax rates is good for these, good for these names. anything at the the margin that kind of steers away from what was a very aggressive antitrust policy during the biden administration is probably good for big tech the. the one negative would be the tariffs. that would be a real issue for an amazon, walmart if or major retailer, so that's the one extra risk you have to worry

about as an investor. otherwise, the fundamentals are very much intact. looked at what just happened in the september quarter prints. very consistent revenue if growth, the demand trends are good. these company are much more efficient with their cost structures than in the past, and these gena.i. deemployments, we're seeing more and more product and process improvements. i thinkty the fundamental outlook for tech is as good as it's been in two or three years. stuart: there's one stock that i've not heard of before, and that is grab holdings. or who are they, what do they do? >> yeah. thanks for giving me the shot to talk about this. very few of the listeners would have heard of this name before. it's the uber of southeast asia. think about end please ya, singapore, malaysia. they run the leading ride-sharing and mobility ap, it's about $15 million market cap name, but it's one that's just kind of turned the corner on profitability. this is uber version 22.00 just

in another part of the world. particularly interested anytime. look at the chart. this stock is starting to recover nicely as it's turned this kind of profitability turning point. that's what happened with uber. you and i talked about a year and a half ago. i think this is the next uber, except it's based in southeast asia. this is my temperature mid capp long concern top mid cap long. stuart: when you went on the air with grab holdings, by the time you finished talking, it was up. you have power -- [laughter] what a guy. use with it properly, son. if you look at the dow 30, most of them are in the red. there's some selling this morning, quite career are i -- clearly. the s&p 500 also down to the tune of .64%, 37 points, and the nasdaq composite is almost down almost 1, so big tech -- let's have a look at 'em, big tech probably mostly lower, and if they are. apple, meta, alphabet, microsoft, amazon all down. bitcoin this morning, it was hovering around $900,000 -- 90,000, it's bonn to 89, 375. crypto, please, all over the place today. no firm trend -- [laughter] i'm wrong again. they're all up. coinbase, marathon, riot blockchain, gray scale, on the upside. now this, rf fk jr.'s nomination doing a number on the vaccine makerses. he's going to be at health and human services. good morning, or taylor. they're worried, aren't hay? >> they are. vaccine makerses, also big pharma. we are clearly red on the screen

pretty much across where you look. this is a guy who has promised to upend the revolving door between government and big pharma, so vaccine makers under pressure. stuart: the ev makers have been taking a hit. is that to do with trump and the ev mandate? >> it does. he a came out and wanted to the scrap the $5070 to-- 7500 tax credit. you have tesla sort of faring better in all of this than the classic legacy auto maker. stuart: let's go to palantir. they're moving to the nasdaq, i believe, and they're at 160 -- what is that? 61 this morning. >> really interesting story. they filed a paper that on november 26th they want to move from the nyse to the nasdaq. doing this would allow them to qualify, they a think, for the nasdaq 100. if you're an index follow ifer or you track, this as your benchmark, you have the add palantir to your benchmark if

you follow them. is a big win if, indeed, it happens. stuart: that stock has been consistently recommended on this program for a couple of months, and it's gone from 35, 38 to to 61 in about 6, weeks. that's quite a performance. and then we've got warren buffett. he's med a -- made a huge cut in berkshire hathaway's cut to ulta that beauty. >> yes. remember, it's filing season, so we're getting updates from these big company in the third quarter, what they're buying or selling. he cut 97% of its stake in ulta beauty. he only has about a 24,000 shares left so, of course, ulta beauty reacts when you have a company like berkshire hathaway getting out almost completely. stuart: so he sold ulta, but i think he bought domino's pizza, how many shares? >> he has about 1.3 million shares. so, again, again to the upside

if you have warren buffett buying your shareses and he sees something maybe we don't, the shares rise. stuart: maybe we don't see it at all. nvidia, whenever i see it on the prompter, something's going on. they're getting into robotics, right. >> >> yeah. it's called jetson thor. this is their humanoid, big human robot. they want to think about releasing this in the first half of 2025. again, nvidia shares are off a little bit, but think long term with this company. they want to to go with a.i., with humanoid, with robots. we'll have to see how it turns out. i don't know if we'll have a robot replace it -- replace us. stuart: let's hope not. tonight's the night, jake paul, mike tyson. you can watch it on netflix. what's that doing for the stock? >> well, and did you see the slap that mike ty tyson gave jake paul last night at the weigh-in? shares falling just a little bit, off 1%. but this is going to a urge hoo

moment -- a huge moment for netflix. can they win in live sport, in streaming, making sure all the glitches are out. you get to watch the for no additional fee. again, this was traditionally hbo, now all of these excitements are really thinking about if streaming is the future. we'll have to see how netflix reacts on monday. stuart: chinese retailer alibaba. i know they reported before the bell. how'd they do? >> it's the all about that a.i. cloud growth. think of this as the amazon of china. you have a slowing chinese consumer that puts pressure on the retail business but cloud growth wins again. you're up about 7% year-over-year all thanks to, you guessed it, a.i.-related products. stuart: taylor are, take a look at the big board. where are we now after just 5 minutes' worth of business? we're down 160 points and there are the winners on the dow. we have disney up again. jpmorgan chase, verizon, travelers and one more, i can't see it.

bottom of the list. it's up. here are the s&p 500 winners. topped by dex come, pool corporation, domino's pizza, of course, and disney on that list as well. nasdaq winners, what have we got in top of the list is dexcom. fortnet, starbucks, american electric power on the list. the 10-year treasury yield, where is it? it's the almost at 4.5%, 4.48. going up this morning. the price of gold, where is that? well below $2600 an ounce, 25 the 75. bitcoin hovering around $90,000. dropped back to 88,000 now. the price of oil to, $67 a barrel. nat gas, $3 32-- 22 2.76. -- the 2.7. in california the price if for a gallon of gas, $4.47 for regular. coming up, democrats panicking over trump tap thatting rfk jr. to lead the health and human services
