larry: so, we need linda mcmahon, education for school choice, and we need more dynamic scoring, so we can cut taxes to grow the economy. and we do not need world war iii. i don't know what joe biden thinks he's doing right now but we do need elizabeth macdonald. that's what we need. liz: that never gets old, larry.

larry: [laughter] liz: by the way you're pretty dynamic i hope you're not going anywhere larry kudlow. welcome to the "evening edit" i'm elizabeth macdonald. >> it's a k cheap shot. >> don't make it worse. >> i read your own followers. >> you're so diluted. >> 51 years. liz: okay, he's pretty funny stuff, right? trump's historic victoryies fallout fighting continues and pollster, the media being held accountable for missing the mark plus voters holding the democrat party accountable. we have a new bombshell report. the democrats have now collapsed into america's third-party, dropping behind republicans and independents even in the swing states and we'll dig in tonight we're talking to voters who say trump and his team are exactly the change voters want. those are the voters they are talking to.

also tonight, this. >> this sick, twisted and evil coward showed no regard for lakin or human life. we are asking the same be done to him. liz: they refuse to say her name. will democrats do that now? an illegal alien gang member convicted on all counts of murdering lakin riley in georgia. accused of crimes in new york, repeatedly let go. he got a free hotel stay, a free airline flight, into georgia. so, why are more democrats declaring their cities and states as sanctuaries that end up harboring criminals? congressman greg stuebe is here to react. we have more sound from inside the court. trump is going to shut the border and deport illegal aliens, plus this. okay, this story, the far left

administration for the next two months need to be maga proofing ukraine, so we need to lift restrictions on ukraine's use of attack, to strike russian oil refinery capacity. reporter: the president-elect is blaming politics for some bad headlines about some of his cabinet selections. he posted on truth social, this is what the radical left lunatics do to people, dirty them up, destroy them and spit them out. they are trying that right now with great american patriots who are only trying to fix the mess, that democrats have made of our country. we will win. the trump team is now also looking to work around congress if issues with his picks persist, that is something members of his own party are asking him not to do. >> will the president use the recess appointment process? >> yes. the president has won a mandate. >> i want president trump to consider if it's possible to recess a point and national labor relations board member, or

cfpb member or some of the hyper partisan recess appointments that obama did. but not for cabinet level position. that should be absolutely off the table. reporter: a big motorcade was spotted here in the palm beach a few hours ago but nobody has laid eyes on the president-elect today. a much quieter transition than the last one. liz? liz: peter doocy thanks again pleasure to have you on. >> i was watching football yesterday and all these players celebrating doing the trump dance, jon jones, who was ufc fighter who won the fight, the fight trump was at. >> these guys all like him. they think he's cool. there's a huge swath of the culture that is just into trump. >> there's something about it that it's not just like pro-trump, but it's like anti everybody that hates trump, and it's like ha, you lost, you have no real power. we're done pretending, right? and that to me is sort of a

governed. the radical left opening up our borders, four year high inflation, the embarrassing dangerous in afghanistan. they are disgusted by it, so to a certain extent i agree with the folks that you just had show that podcast, they are disgusted with democrats and the radical left, and of course, they also saw president trump in what mark zuckerberg said was just the most bad adea ass thing he, almost get assassinated and get up and say we need to fight and that resonated with people. liz: the house ethics committee declined to release the report on matt gaetz about those misconduct halloweens but if you go after matt gaetz then release all the ethics reports and secret pay off to sexual assault claims that congressman were hit with, paid off with
5:08 pm
taxpayer money, she also said release the entire jeffrey epstein files and she said we're going to dance let's dance in the sunlight. what do you make of this? >> first of all i can certainly understand why president trump would want a fighter like matt gaetz to clean-up this country. we've got a problem with partisans in these agencies and in the first term they sabotaged his administration so he is far more aware of what the deep state can do to him, so he wants strong advocates for him. to a standpoint of matt gaetz, i mean, i don't know him that well or the allegations. i certainly know how the legacy media carried the water of radical leftists and the democrats about the russian collusion hoax and put this nation through political turmoil that hasn't ended because of that corruption, so i don't believe anything i hear through the legacy and the corporate media. matt gaetz is denied all these charges. i know people who have worked with him.
5:09 pm
they appreciate him. i know the party doesn't like the fact he basically helped take out speaker mccarthy, so again, i've got a totally open mind, but i completely think that a president deserves to put people in place that he wants. he will be held accountable for any missteps. liz: senator johnson thanks for joining us great to see you. >> have a good night. liz: to this story the media had pushed posters where he repeatedly predicted trump would lose. now they the same pollster says it's religious "blasphemy" to try to question him. >> look i debated the professor before. i told him his theories about it being absurd. i said he would lose his keys. couldn't find them before the election. >> that's a cheap shot and i won't stand for it. >> well who won, brother? >> i read your own followers. >> you're so diluted. >> i've only been a professor

5:11 pm
sexist and racist. what do you think? >> well we all know how he is but i mean, this isn't blasphemy. american patriots are experiencing happiness and relief with donald trump now that he's president. now, you do have illegal aliens and you do have people that are far extreme leftists who aren't, you know, happy with donald trump's presidency, but these are the people, the same people that can't tell you the policies that kamala harris had for this country. now what's interesting to me is that you have states like illinois and new york that increase dramatically when it comes to republican. illinois went 45% republican this year. chicago alone in 2020 was only at 15% for donald trump, but now, this year, we increased all the way up to 37%. that's almost more than half, and people are waking up to the democratic party. you see that in the house and in the senate as well. like their policies just aren't good for america. liz: you know, so
5:12 pm
what vashon just said, those are amazing numbers, that's incredible, brian so trump does have a mandate. democrats and the media are talking about a mandate and they said biden had a mandate so brian, what do you make of what you just heard? >> well, liz, i've been telling folks in the mainstream corporate media, i guess we call them now, that donald trump was going to win 65% of the uaw vote, and he came in at least at 65%. we won macomb county where i live, the home of the reagan democrats by about 80,000 votes, so this is a blue collar working class county, and we won it big time, so i just disregard anything that the elites on the mainstream media try to tell us. i talk to the people that i come in contact with everyday and i know the truth, so we don't
5:13 pm
get any attention with corporate media. liz: rehear you. vashon, roll call reports the democrat party collapse is so bad with voters they've now dropped down to become the third party behind republicans and independents. we haven't seen that since the nixon era and five of th the seven swing states democrats dropped behind republicans and independents so now the trump party is the party of the working class and also the peace party. the democrats used to be the party of peace. president-elect has a mandate right now. what do you say, vashon? >> well, when it comes to the democrats, just take brandon johnson and j. b. pritzker for example,, i'll say last week they said they will protect undocumented immigrants if i.c.e. comes to deport them. with all due respect that's absolutely insane. this is supposed to be an america-first country, so it's like they never really focus on the working class citizens and there are a lot of
5:14 pm
them in chicago, illinois but they are putting criminals before working class citizens, and it's just democrats just do not know what they're doing, i'll just be honest with you. there's always a right way to do things. the illegals that's coming into this country right now could do it the right way but they choose not to and brandon johnson and governor j. b. pritzker fail to see that. their policies along with other democratic mayors such as gavin newsom and they just failed this country and the american people are sick of it. liz: sick of it. brian i'll give you final word. what do you say, brian? >> well, the republican party has been gaining the working class voters since ronald reagan in 1980, 1984 and the republican party since donald trump has remade it into the maga republican party, definitely speaks for the blue collar of the working class, and it
5:15 pm
doesn't surprise me one bit that the democrat party is the third after republicans and independents. they have done that to themselves. they are the party of the far left, and they've actually left the voters. the voters haven't actually left them. the party has left the voters. liz: that's right brian. we heard that too. vashon you did great. good to see you gentlemen. hope to see you soon. we've got major stock market news. the hot action in artificial intelligence and the most valuable company in the world, a.i. giant chipmaker nvidia earnings out after the bell. they beat wall street expectations. revenue coming in strong at 35 billion bucks. down slightly after-hours, bouncing around 3% down to the downside, possibly because of their negative outlook, and nvidia credited with the a.i. bull market boom, could this affect the wider market, their earnings shares tripled so far in 2024. we want to get to this promotion. this company is bigger than apple and microsoft. tune into the "clayman

liz: we've got a fox news exclusive. texas increasingly cracking down on its border security. the biden white house has been trying to take credit for that after the biden white house repeatedly sued texas to stop this. now, texas is doing even more to secure the border. fox news brook taylor in eagle pass, texas with the story. brooke? reporter: last year when we started seeing record numbers when it comes to border crossings, texas governor abbott started putting these buoys in the river to stop migrants from crossing over. in 2023 though the biden administration sued texas saying that this was a humanitarian disaster. that lawsuit still ongoing and they stopped putting these buoys in the water in 2023 until now. biden, of course, still in office and our president so certainly, accep sending a strog message of defiance. we got an exclusive look as they installed these buoys.
5:25 pm
we just got back from a ride-along with dps troopers on the rio grande. right now there's about a thousand buoys and the goal is to add another thousand feet. these are put in areas where they see strong border crossings and migrants can go other routes but abbott hopes with a new administration he can get a strong federal backing and add more buoys. he's said this is more effective than the border wall and cheaper. critics said these buoys endanger lives of migrants and here in eagle pass troopers and border patrol agents have been seeing groups of around 100-200 migrants sporadically, something that we continue to report on is that right now, they are noticing more special interest aliens and also unaccompanied children among these groups. the month of december is known to be one of the busiest months when it comes to illegal border crossings, so texas authorities are hoping that this acts as another line of defense. elizabeth? liz: always great reporting thank you so much.
