big boy pants on ask confirm president elect's cabinet choices. don't listen to the dc swamp, don't listen to the liberal media. please listen to the guy that won a landslide election where voters have given him a major mandate for change, policy change as well as personnel change indeed personnel becomes policy. i don't personally think matt gaetz got a fair hearing or was able to make his case but it was his choice to withdraw. in america you're supposed to be proven innocent till proven guilty and now they're going after pete hegseth for an allegation that occurred seven years ago. be clear, the moderate california police investigated and no charges were filed and that should put an end to it.

hopefully the senate gop will see that the brilliant mr. hegseth, that's a decorated military veteran as well as super smart guy was appointed by president trump in order to shake up the pentagon, which is a place they haven't passed an audit in seven years. lately it seems like woke and dei where sometimes they're more important than the battlefield and judgment. because of his experience, hegseth knows the military very well and he himself was a warr so, should be confirmed routinely and whispers the next pick is tulsi gabbard and trump's pick for dni. may not agree with everything she said in the years but she was a u.s. army reserve colonel and as a house member, she sat on the armed services, foreign affairs, and homeland security committees so she knows a lot about defense and intelligence.

the public scare. there's movements that would want to deter that and diminish that, and we can't let that happen. it's a afro-american dom that deserves -- freedom that deservings strong defense and constant vigilance. larry: front and senter and that's the second one, your eminence, school choice and funding. parents can get tax credits and in some cases tax federal tax credits to the school of their choice and some don't want the school of their choice to be a private school or religious school. that strikes me as a very bad idea. i'm glad. you'd be surprise that had aidoo grow with you whole heartedly. >> good news, 32 of 50 state haves some type of parental choice and education. we got to keep expanding that. actually, it's kind of tied to your first topic, larry, religious freedom and talking about parental rights.

supreme court said the child is not the creature of the state, it's the parents that are the primary educators. i can't figure this out. that ae primary educators. i can't figure this out. we americans are known for common sense, pragmatism and suspicious of monopolies and we have a public school strangle hold 340 notary publicly and denying parents right to have their hard earned tax money for education and can't use it to send their kids to the school of their choice. to me, it's kind of a no brainer. i'm hoping we make some progress. larry: in general, in general there's far too much in my view, call it woke or cancel culture or whatever, but there's far too much hostility to religion, religion thinking, religion in the family, religion in the community, religion in the

schools. far too much secular thinking tg and how to have a great country and tightly knit families and communities that get along without some religious sense and guidance and morality alongside it. i don't understand it. >> i don't understand it either, larry, nor did our founders. remember the post most elmore nathanial hackette commentator -- eminent commentator on the american genius in the 1830s and came from france and said, how is this experiment, this noble experiment in democracy going to keep from diminishing in the mob rule? he said i'll tell you in the united states what's going to keep that from happen asking the role of religion because americans cherish religion and have freedom of religion and take it seriously and know that

even though religion is personal, it's never private. you bring your values into the public square and therefore spice up democracy. if you don't have that, you don't have a moral guardrail on some of the base or emotion. i do worry as an american and you're not being an alarmist and i detect a scary growing animosity to religion. neutrality to religion? halleluiah and nor should any be favored or given a special privilege, certainly not government establishment, but religion always had a role of kind of respect and welcome at the table of american democracy, and some now a growing number that say religion is fine for those weak superstition, irrational people that depend on it, if you want to keep it to an hour on the saboteur botteghin but don't bring sabboth.
