ripple can't work things out with sec in terms of settlement but they can't let that court case stand. be careful if you're speculating based on what chris said. liz: intraday up 57%. >> this is the crazy and other stuff, let's be clear, all the cryptos are going through the roof and bitcoin off a little today. there's a bull run on digital coins and trump administration promising a lighter regulatory hand and gary gensler and degree of exuberance and rational. liz: i'm now shorting micro-strategy and there's a huge split between rational movements and more. >> ting kind of a computer company that's buying bitcoin. i don't get that. by the way, there's a lot of

etfs feeding off of that micro-strategies bet and journal did a really nice story on it. i'd be real careful for the technical factors and it's getting way out of hand and suppose the sec says we're going to bring the case. does it go down another $2? liz: donald trump has said incredibly friendly with this case. >> listen, if you look at who he's talking to for sec chair it is paul atkinses. paul atkinses right now from what we keep hearing down in mar-a-lago and talking to trump and he's a long time securities lawyer and commissioner and he understands the disclosure mandates and you can't let u.s. federal court ruling stand that says retail holders. it was a stupid ruling and the judge in the case said obviously there's nothing about securities law. you can't allow that sort of dual disclosure mandate when there's basically saying that

retail deserve less information than institutions. so i just wonder if, you know, here's one way to work this thing out and i think -- i bet you ripple comes and does a sell. this is my belief. ripple will do a settlement with sec and says here's our disclosure and how we make money. by the way, here's something interesting and ripple has something like an 8-$10 million market cap right now. with no disclosure. liz: buyer beware. that's going for everything, always. charlie, thank you very much. charlie gasparino. closing bell about three minutes and 20 seconds away. s&p on track for its 354th record close of the year and year-to-date all three seeing double digit gains and dow up about 18% and s&p and nasdaq up more than 20%.

can we show that kristin by a healthy consumer and still firms job report and job picture. all though who knows what will happen on friday with the november jobs number. we have scott lattner here to guide us through the new normal. scott, how do we do that? >> it's a lot of what we've been doing and still an economy with global banks and going for them and going for them and we caution folks and let's not all get overboard on overweight on the u.s. and consensus trade for trump for the first time and that's going for them and this

go round, everybody is saying the same thing and getting on board u.s. stocks and woe need to be a little bit perspective on that. liz: okay, where if not the united states? >> our favorite non-u.s. market is japan. japan, one, first and foremost not in the trump tariff cross hairs and benefiting from ai and that tail wind and behind it and it's a long, slow and underappreciated thing that's going on in japan right now in terms of corporate culture shifting more towards shareholder value and less about stake holder value and that's creating a lot of values and japanese shares for the last 24 months. liz: yeah, this shopify live globe and the monday spending and entire nation of japan was lit up and like somebody jacked up a lightning bolt can you

really ignore tech and apple hitting an all time record. >> we love tech and it's the mid 90s and have to be on board this train and allocating tech, be market weighed and can't be shorted and in terms of tech, anything dealing with ai and second generation of ai stuff and what's not going away from chips and this is going to play in the world and users of ai kind of what company going for them and the product and i have the it's the next trade for 2025. liz: scott, we'll wait to see. 2025 couple of weeks away. the closing bell for nasdaq and s&p. we'll do it all again tomorrow. larry: hello, folks.
