welcome to fud low. i'm larry kudlow. joe biden's mendacious lie about hunter biden pardon is yet another admission of guilt. plus, president trump picks kash patel to clean up the fbi and i mean cleanse and clean up the fbi. we have senator roger marshall, representative byron donalds, house member claudia tenney on all that in just a moment and later in the show senators tommy tutuberville and tom cotton weighing in on it all. first, we have peter doocy down in florida where it's not quite as warm as some people thought it would be. peter, what the do you have? reporter: not quite as worm? it's like 70. and overcast. i love it. we're reminded that a president elect cannot conduct foreign policy but donald trump is certainly trying to apply

pressure on america's adversaries where he can. he posted a little while ago on truth social in part, if the hostages are not released prior to january 2025, the date i proudly assume office of president of the united states, there'll be all hell to pay in the middle east. that kind of pressure has already yielded some results. the threat of tariffs on the neighbors if the border security was not tightened up, prime minister justin trudeau, according to canada's daily globe and mail, offering to deploy helicopters and drones to beef up security and canadians are saying that's what this weekend's mar-a-lago trip was all about. >> the public threat and posting was monday evening and then we were at his residence in florida talking about that exact context. reporter: trump allies on capitol hill believe the president's approach will be touch and ultimately pretty

simple. >> what you're going to see is basically the global diplomacy of rock, paper, scissors: strength, appeasement and strength wins. donald trump is a strong leader and if he's going to sanction you, if he's going to hold you accountable, heavyweights going to do that. that's when you saw justin trudeau fly to palm beach to meet with president trump. reporter: there's a trump angle to hunter biden pardon. this afternoon his campaign is fundraising off the pardon and last night trump wrote on truth social that he thinks a pardon should apply to people political prisoners related to january 6 offenses. it's only been three weeks since asking the press secretary about the president's insistence and propses there's no pardon. i said okay, if that's true, is

he going to have donald trump write the pardon for him. i was told by the press secretary for president biden that was a rabbit hole. turnsout none of this was a rabbit hole. it was a broken promise though. larry. larry: peter, you get the forecaster of the year award. that's what you get. forecaster of the year award. reporter: thank yous, yes. we'll do traffic on the east for kudlow the rest of the week. larry: peter doocy, everybody, from west palm beach, florida. more than ever, we need kash patel to clean out this fbi stable of corruption, and that's the subject of the riff. no surprise that joe biden lied about pardoning his son hunter because biden lied throughout his presidency: covid, inflation, budget deficits, afghanistan, border crisis, trump tax cuts, hunter biden
4:05 pm
laptop; remember that? here he goes again on his way out the door with a particularly mendacious lie about a breathtakingly large scoped pardon for son hunter. but here's the key as i see it, incredibly broad scale from 2014-2024, admission of guilt by huntedder biden is by joe biden to all of the influence peddling that financed the biden family crime syndicate. the fact that the biden justice department tried its hardest to defend hunter and the fact that the biden justice department tried to put donald trump in jail for 750 years with all their weaponnized lawfare tactic with no merit at all, all this shows why it is essential to clean up the justice department and fbi. now, bring on stage kash patel,
4:06 pm
who president trump is nominating for fbi director. kash patel is mr. clean up. he's a brilliant guy, vast experience in law, national security and fighting cry. he'll come into the fbi to cleanse the agency. to clear out all of the deadwood. because right now the fbi is ought in the throes of the greatest corruption scandal since jay edgar hoover, and this must be stopped, must be ended, and the president trump knows this. he knows it well. kash patel is exactly the guy toy do it. now, take a listen to this tape from our show, what, two weeks ago. take a listen, please. >> the worst weapon we have in government is a two-tiered system of justice that's been

weaponnized. i think it's time that donald trump came in there with sweeping mandate that the american public gave him to return a singular system of constitution of justice. there's no revenge list. if donald trump is successful, he will make these institutions the fbi, doj, dod, et cetera, successful forever. larry: hear that importantly. okay. hear that, no revenge. kash patel famously uncovered russia, russia, russia hoax and financed by hillary clinton; right. supported by the fbi and cooked up by the crooked mouthpiece, christopher steel. kash patel served as senior director for counter terrorism at the national intelligence council and chief of staff at defense department, he has tried over 60 jury trials. he's been a prosecutor and public defender and knows all about domestic and international crime and that's exactly what

phrase, make america great again. that is the riff. all right. well omelet back roger marshall and byron donalds and great claudia tenney of new york. welcome to you all. senator marshall, i'll begin with you, there's so many thoughts here. the fact that biden did this is no big surprise. the fact he did do it is a rather mendacious lie but the thing that's interesting to me, broad scope of 2014-2016 -- no, 2014 rather, very interesting when i heard that last evening and said to myself, that's an admission of guilt. that's an admission of guilt. all the things that house has been looking at and senate has been looking at, there it is. he's covering 2014-2024. in other words from burisma on
4:10 pm
and going to get all that prerogative to do that and isn't that sort of kind of really what's going on here? all the things you all have been going after, i think this pardon proves you were right. >> yeah, larry, i went back to 2014 and the biden family involved with burisma and they're key to chasing that to the big guy and how else to the biden family afford all these homes and living an extravagant lifestyle and more than pardoning hunter biden, forbid any type of investigation that leads back to him. our job in the house and senate now we can subpoena hunter biden and can't take the fifth anymore and we've got work to do. stuart: claudia, the thing that interested me the most -- byron, i'm coming to you, buddy. gone get lonely. i want to go
4:11 pm
to claudia, the great claudia tenney of course. the thing that's interesting to me, tax evasion, gun charge he shouldn't have done it. may have been in the throes of his addiction and so forth and very happy that he's five years sober or whatever but tax evasion would have -- if we had gone to trial in los angeles or central california or whatever it is, that would have uncorked, uncovered i think all of the influence peddling from russia and ukraine and other places and showing you these l.l.c.,s and each biden family member had and of course they didn't want anything to do with tax evasion because that would have led them right down the road where it was actually happening. >> exactly. that's why -- larry: go for it.
4:12 pm
>> yeah, larry, whistle blowers appearing in front of weighs and means committee and they've been trying to condemn them and the government and irs, insiders. this is the thing that's so bad about this biden situation is it's the most sweeping pardon in history since nixon. but say this, nixon was charged with the coverup and not the crime, and the bidens were charged with the actual crime, committing the crime. the other thing is the u.s. attorney allowed and doj allowed all this evidence we're talking about from burisma that senator roger marshall mentioned 2014, 2015, and allowed statute of limitations to run so we couldn't get them for tax evasion to see where the money was flowing to the corrupt intentties and by the way, each one -- entities and by the way, all named after finser lakes in my district but that's another issue.
4:13 pm
the u.s. attorney wise just a few -- david weiss filed a motion to dismiss for the pardon and they're saying this is not something that's going to happen. pardons can be as broad as possible but the scandalous nature of the pardon is like nothing in u.s. history and we've never seen such a corrupt family. this is why these whistle blowers and everything weave done on weighs and means committee and on oversight is really, really important and i know byron will add a lot of insight into this because he serves on this committee. larry: byron, put in as much more detail as want because you're byron. here's my other thought. in all seriousness this mendacious lie, this biden syndicate going for illegal financing and so forth. cries out for a guy like kash
4:14 pm
patel cleaning stables at fbi and my dear friend pam bondi to clean out stables at justice department. i'm so annoyed at some of my conservative cousins, at least in one newspaper that will go unmentioned here and think that putting in kash patel is u you know, some act of retribution and couldn't be further from the truth. he -- bondi, john ratcliffe will do it at cia, president trump who got a mandate to do it. they want to clean out the corruption and get back to a fair administration of justice instead of the awful lawfare weaponization we've had, byron. that's my thought. this cries out for kash patel and pam bondi and john ratcliffe, byron. >> well, larry, i don't have much to add in terms of detail
4:15 pm
that's not been covered. let's be very clear, hunter biden avoided paying taxes with money that he "earned" because of his dad's involvement in the politics and it was the essence of pay to play. now joe biden is finally coming in to clean up the mess that hunter biden created. it's tax evasion. i don't want to hear democrats lecture us about anybody paying their fair share anymore, larry, because the president's own son was not paying his fair share. he was evading the taxes. what does it mean for where we go forward? kash patel, you're exactly right, john ratcliffe, pam bondi. their job is exceptional right now because they have to clean out the political brass at these agencies. if they're going to survive as well as constitutional republic that is the united states of america, our agency cans not be political or covering up and have to do their jobs for good
4:16 pm
or better or worse and for the good of everybody in the country, that was the bottom line. the american people want agencies that are doing their job uphold the constitution and upholding rule of law and can't pick and choose when to uphold the law. our country won't survive. he's got the mandate and doing it as we speak and the people he's chosen will dot hard work but necessary work of cleaning out agencies and restoring them to former glory. larry: senator marshall, coming to you in a second, but i want to play sound from president elect, trump. play the tape, sir. >> they've used the fbi and department of injustice to go after political opponent and it's never been done in this country. people say am i going to do
4:17 pm
that? the answer is no, i don't want to do that . i don't to want do it with hunter either. the father probably pardons him. i don't want to hurt people. i really don't. larry: that's interesting and going for a couple of we weeks d landslide and the point is this is a time for cleansing and a time to restore our legal system and justice department is a very important department and helps stop crime. fbi is a very important agency to investigates and stop crime. the cia is another to investigate and explore crime and the international front and any kind of terrorism to damage the security. it's long overdue, senator marshall. seems to me it's long overdue.

to say what byron said about looking ahead, which is what i'm particularly interested in, i think trump is exactly right. he'll straighten out and cleanse this very bad system and trump's ratings go up 20 points for favorability as he does this. 20 points. if i'm wrong, his ratings go up 30 point of impacts because people know how corrupt and badly soiled -- i mean, think of it. jay edgar hoover in some sense was a piker and only had a draw full of sex pictures and these other g guys continue. what do you think, senator? >> we need to clean house and director wray has been there and he's been responsible and overseen all of that and time for a big change and kash patel
