when they reported a partnership with palantir. right there this morning, down above 33. at 2 p.m. eastern the white house will finally brief the house intelligence committee on those mysterious drone sightings. nate foyers and elizabeth, new jersey, this briefing will be behind closed doors so will the public be left in the dark about what's going on? >> based on everything the white house has said i would guess that would be the case. but it will depend on what committee members do after that brief and, if they share that information with the media, we will certainly ask for that information but yesterday donald trump applied pressure on the biden administration saying he believes president biden already knows what is going on with the drones and refuses to tell the american people, trump did not say if he also knows what is going on. watch this. >> have you received an intelligence briefing on a drones?

drone although that is illegal in the united states. murphy also told reporters yesterday that there were 12 drone sightings in new jersey on saturday, just one reported drone siding on sunday and he is urging congress to give states more authority to defend against drones. right now that authority lies with the federal government. stuart: now listen to what john kirby said about the drones. >> our assessment is that this is lawful, legal, commercial, hobbyist, law enforcement activity. some of it is manned, some of it is unmanned. is flying legally. it is legal to fly drones in nonrestricted airspace as long as you are registered with the faa and there's thousands and thousands of these kinds of flights every day, there's more than a million drones

registered with the faa in the united states alone. stuart: chad wolf is the former acting department of homeland security secretary. the government must know what is going on and he is telling us it is all hobbyists. are you buying that? >> i don't know that i am. if the federal government is going to brief numbers of congress and they have been over the last several weeks they are telling them some information. the same information or subset needs to be shared with the american people. there's no national security threat or public safety threat but what are they basing that information off of antalya slaney increase in activity in the last month? something is going on. the american people know this but they are not getting answers from the federal government in the absence of that you're going to start to have antsy and do and hear people speculate about what is going on so it is in the best interests of the biden administration to be forthcoming, clearly they are not and in part they may not

>> that will be an enormous challenge but if anyone can get it done it will be donald trump because he actually spends time on this issue unlike president biden. he's invested in this issue and he's going to pull those levers and they get very uncomfortable with countries like venezuela if they don't take their individuals and foreign nationals back so i think it will certainly be a challenge, we don't have the best relationship with folks like venezuela and cuba and others but i think there's a pathway to send individuals back to those countries. stuart: we shall see, see you again soon. charlie hurt is still with me. back to that press conference yesterday. why did trump walk away from the drone question, wouldn't answer it? why do you think? >> i suspect he knows a little bit more about this than he is letting on. it certainly, government officials no way more than they are letting on and if i were to

stuart: that is what trump wanted. he wanted you to take action. so what exactly are you doing on that border? >> we are hiring 51 sheriffs, we are putting super dogs on the border so we can detect drugs and commercial vehicle inspection. at 2 km on so if anybody's looking like they are trying to sneak across our come across from the other side, we will apprehend them and hope we will be able to address the issues we face. we know that in canada and the united states we have a serious fentanyl crisis and we want to stop the precursors and making sure they don't harm people in american communities, that's what we are doing in alberta and hope others follow suit. stuart: donald trump will be satisfied presumably with what you're doing, hiring sheriffs, he will be satisfied with that?

blockers to minors under 16. are you meeting strong opposition? >> the first province in canada to do this and they are activist groups. when we looked at what was happening in the uk, they spent four years looking at the evidence, there aren't good long-term studies. what we know is the decision to have kids or not have kids is an adult decision to make so we want to preserve kids choices so they are not making decisions prematurely that might affect their ability to have kids of their own one day but we are confident we will be able to defend it. stuart: you are a trump supporter and will go to the inauguration on january 20th. if you have to go through new york, stop by and come on the show when you're in the big apple please. >> looking forward to seeing you.

adams to cooperate with mass deportation. adams could make that a problem for him if he chooses not to cooperate and if adams wants to stay out of prison. this is a good union of two people that could come together hopefully for the benefit of new york city and america. stuart: is this the way politics is supposed to work? >> we are in left field of what it is supposed to be. whatever gets to the finish line i will support. stuart: mayor adams is looking to attend trump's inauguration. a successful syncom with tom homan. adams will reopen an ice office on rikers island. he is looking more like a republican. stuart: adams also wants to stay on as mayor and he won't do that if he has to run the democratic primary. he's exporting options for what is available and that means running as an independent or a republican but if you go down the route of running is a republican getting closer to trump is never a bad idea. stuart: the election is next
