action. this idea we need to pass the cr is false and getting back to voting oncosingle going to vote on disaster are eley funding and augusta, georgia, was decimated by hurricane helene and playing politics, go for that and perspective us to do and the swam doesn't well work 6789 and going for that to wake up for the call: liz: sleeping and living in tents in north carolina as criticism has been the biden white house was giving money overseas but the president was saying he wants $100 billion in disaster aid now for hurricane victims and disaster victims but giving money overseas. >> yeah, it's disgusting that president biden even in his last days in office continues to desecrate his office and

embarrass the american people and the oath to put the american people first. losing to put people that don't live in the country ahead of those living on cots in north carolina and many of which have lost their entire way of life and about to provide for families it's dis-customerring and surprising and&par for the course and in 30 short days, i'm excited that president trump will walk back into the white house and right this ship. liz: thank you, cj. let's get back to the action with grady trim and will what's happening on the floor of the house to move to stop a vote on the interim spending bill. what's happening right now, grady? reporter: i would say at this point, liz, it's looking extremely likely this will pass the house and the reason i say that is because if you look at numbers, the total is 312 in favor of this bill to keep the government open. 31 thomas mancino votes and it's important to note that the no votes on the republican side, on the democratic side, there's 59 outstanding votes people and

members that haven't voted yet and not a single one of the 59 democrats or i should say not a single one of the 152 democrats who are already voted have voted no. it's not done deal till the vote is officially closed and as i said, >> what this means is not a shut down is averted completely but the same bill is going to be presented to the senate floor and they'll go through a similar process here, but i think at this point, a lot of senators could be eager to go home and they may follow suit,

follow their counter parts on the house side. liz: grady trimble, you're going to be busy. thank you so much. bring in wall street pro, carol roth coming in to talk to us. what's interesting is the length of this interim spending bill was 118 pages long. that's about a tenth of -- less than a tenth of the first interim bill when it was loaded with all the pork and government overspending that got everybody in an uproar, karol. now democrats are saying, yes, to a slimmer bill of 118 pages. what was the big deal about the first go round? >> i dent know, it sounds like they got some ozempic, liz, for the bill that they were magically able to lose over 1,000 pages in just one night. that's incredible. it just goes to show you that if people use their voices and push back, which really is what x has enabled and elon musk enabled with free speech, it wasn't

about him. it's about the people saying this is ridiculous. nobody can digest a 1500+ page bill in 24 hours and vote on it. this is not what the people voted for. we want change. we want more responsibility and with 116 or 18 pages or whatever it is, it's still too many. i would have preferred to see the single issue bills. at least at this point there's time for digestion and understand what it is. liz: it's interesting and the media and democrats are calling trump hitler and now he's a puppet to elon musk. they don't like billionaire elon musk when george soros was pushing around policy for the democrats for so long. let's talk quickly about the democrats that oppose and republicans oppose to just doing away with the debt ceiling. trump initially suggest that had and he doesn't want to get the congress and house republicans entangled in fights again and again and again about the debt

ceiling and he's got to get his agenda through and bring down inflation and got to grow the economy, shut the border and more. that's his agenda, voters gave him the mandate and think, are you worry that had trump tax cuts and stuff getting entangled and more for democrats? is >> i'm concerned about fights with democrats and fights within the republican party. we do have a clear mandate and we have a very visionary set of people who are looking to disrupt business as usual, and i think this is just the first time we're seeing that when you disrupt business as usual. it's not that easy and congress will be in for a surprise and people start using their voices and say if you don't get on board with our mandate, you're not going to have a job the next time it comes umm for a vote. i'm hoping that strength of the people will give congress some pause and maybe get them to get on board with what it is the

people want so we don't continually have this political heater and these fights and, you know, the debt ceiling, it is what it is, but at the end of the day, if we want that to stop, we have to stop running the deficits because we need to finance those deficits somehow, liz, and i don't think we're having government bake sales, i don't think they're selling out at national parks and only choice is with debt. solve the debt problem, solve the deficits. liz: carol roth, thank you for your hard work and ba bock nardi and cj. they are voting not to shut down the government and have a spending bill and heading to the action. sending over to dagen and brian. that was a close one. what do you think, you >> the magic of maga and doge how it work this week.
