because right now these are stark numbers. of the nasdaq 100 only ten stocks are 50% of that index, take out costco and it is 953 and on the s&p 8 stocks all big tech, 36% of the s&p so they've taken over the indices and under the surface i can tell you right now there are a lot of bearish bear markets going on whether it is homebuilders or commodities or everything healthcare. a lot is coming out of a bunch of areas into this one area big tech and let's hope it continues or the indices will come in. ashley: i want to talk to you about the treasury yield that keeps rising, 4. 63%. at some point here, god forbid

the fed forgot to raise rates and what would that do to the market? >> a big secret, since the fed has taken rate on 5.4 and 4.4, the 10 year yield is from 3-6 to four. 6, the real market, one man pushing buttons, and saying something else. and interest rates not the fed but the real interest rates keep going higher if they break the 5% mark, when inflation started to pick up, they stated 0% when the free market kept going higher they were forced to make a move and that hurt

your colleagues mentioned the war of attrition between israel and the houthis. there's been a war of attrition between israel and hamas. israel and hezbollah early on in this war talked about a number of times on air. i said israel was are 2 or 3 front war. many said it is about 7 fronts and israel is winning, what does hamas have left to use people, innocent individuals many who are suffering as ponds to hold on to what little it has left. i don't see this ending immediately but it shows the level and degree of weakness of hamas and the way that israel has prevailed in this war of attrition. it is very sad but despite all that there has been progress, there's an understanding that

those most vulnerable will be prioritized moving out of the state of being a hostage. there's understanding that israel will pre-position forces for any cease-fire. we are seeing hamas in its weakest position in the course of this war. ashley: the kremlin rejecting truths in ukraine, a path to nowhere, we know trump wants to end the war, how can he do that >> reporter: one of his advisors, general keith kellogg reemphasized the fact he wants this war to end, he wants the

peace deal in russia will participate aggressively in such negotiations, this is reassuring get, statements from national security team, including pete hegseth if you look at his record, the things he has said, this is judicious use of american power and that is what will see with donald trump. and the judicious use of american power, not the way the biden administration has allowed zelenskyy to use us supplied weapons, that's not going to be the donald trump approach. i think we will see negotiations much faster, with better impact in a number of weeks under donald trump. this is ending this war is a top priority for the incoming administration in washington.

ashley: we know how he thinks, new polling shows 60 one% of democrats find spending time with family and friends around the holidays makes them more stressed. what does this say about those who are left-leaning in their politics? 0-tolerance, supposed to be free-speech but only free if you agree with them. >> the left has sold this live to a lot of people who buy into this, to believe their ideology, to vote along party line is to be a good person and people feel this moral imperative to keep the party line, support these viewpoints, we you can have different viewpoints, you can vote on those viewpoints, have the freedom to voice those ideas and this is something americans have to deal with going forward going into another trump presidency. the majority of americans voted

for donald trump. i talk to people on the campaign trail mostly covering trump voters and at the same day, people are voting for what they see as the best choice for their families and communities. you can disagree with that choice and respect the fact that americans are doing what is best for them, anyone can respect that. ashley: how was your holiday meal? politics free? did everyone get along okay? >> never quite politics free. a lot of disagreement but a lot of respect and that is what counts. ashley: as long as you can do that it is okay to have opposing opinions. when you get to the point you are cutting our friends and family and never speaking to them that is ridiculous. >> as long as everyone likes my turkey. ashley: i think we can agree on that. thanks for taking time out to chat with us. ashley: thank you.

how many homes were lost in that area? >> reporter: 27 homes were washed away in the flooding and tragically a young couple lost their lives but they are working to honor their legacy over the holiday season. they are making it a priority. >> a lot of their families have been there for 100 years. so it is a time in that community. it affects everybody. >> reporter: this is the home where steve and ely live with her three children. the kids were not home when hurricane helenhe hit and they survive. rebuilding this home is their mission. organizer telus of 1400 square-foot home cost $32,000 for just the foundation and the supplies are being donated.

biden's death row commutations. it took everyone by surprise. >> joe biden didn't, he signed the paper, who love criminals. that decision to commute 37 murderers who had a fair trial, and ordered death penalty as ridiculous and horrendous during the holiday season. he's going to have law and order effective january 2025. when he commits 37 murderers and allows the other three because of various reasons, hate crimes, to allow them to escape his commutation. why these three, those who are commuted, trump is going to expand the death penalty rules.
