>> c1 for the biden legacy is all about downward economic revisions and so will we now enter into the era of upward economic revisions in joining me now is ej antoni heritage foundation economist as we deceive and thank you for being here and you know we keep hearing from joe biden, about setting up a great economy to donald trump etc., and nothing exemplifies the combination about policy with lies, that we have seen better than the jobs reports where you continually have these downward revisions and there have been a couple every blue moon, they have an upward revision. but it appears by the way the fed said that the q-tip of the second quarter, is actually a down quarter and we had a serious down quarter jobs now

because of those revisions, no? ej: david, that's exactly right so originally the bureau of labor statistics estimated that we added over 650,000 jobs during that three-month time and now we get information from the philadelphia federal reserve that indicates know about was actually all a lie and we lost jobs during that quarter so that accounts russian say amounts to downward revision of over 700,000 by the way this is on top of the previous annual benchmark revision from the bureau of labor statistics at that was down 819,000 and i suppose at least i was over the course of a gear and this is course of just three months. is almost as large labor market david is nowhere near as robust or healthy as we been led to believe. david: don't involve the jobs are down the money creation is going up because you continue to have these spending and the treasury has to find it somehow. printing presses are turning,

no? ej: absolutely david, i for a long time there were several years the federal reserve was essentially eating a lot of the money it created sterilized another was it was pain thanks not to let up the money and so once the treasury had spent a, the money that part to the federal reserve. now, that is all starting to unwind itself and the means that you have two and half trillion dollars that are beginning to work their way through the real economy. i will continue to create inflationary pressure in the months and years ahead. and on top of that, the federal reserve started to cut interest rates an unprecedented move and what i think is election interference. to try to get a preferred candidate across the finish line and clearly that did not work but the next president donald trump is still going have to deal with the inflationary impact of this wrongheaded decision. david: by the way the incredible thing about the fed's decision to cut rates i think we have chart we could put up that the

market was going in exactly the opposite direction by the fed was cutting what know that is the wrong chart. the money supply if you have the chart there and is and going the outcome of that is that fats cuts on the arrow pointing down work at exactly the same time with a ten year treasury yield was going up in another words, the market is betting that we will have more inflation in the fed is betting that we have inflation under control. who has a right that marketer the fed, easy one for you ej. ej: [laughter] with the market hands down this that has not been right anything the same folks who told us inflation was transitory for crying out loud. and you're right, what we saw the fed funds rate go down 100 basis points of the yield on the ten year has gone up 100 basis points. moving in exactly the opposite direction is because of the reason your articulated investors are increasingly anticipating more and more inflation because of the that's

easy money policy simply more cash into the system and there's going to be more inflation, they're going to demand a higher yield so that they can be compensated for those real losses. david: finally covets could be quickly, this is all good reason why we need tax and regulatory cuts, right now to incentivize businesses on the supply side to create more goods and services and that brings inflation down, no? ej: absolutely, inflation is fundamentally too much money chasing too few goods david and the reason why the reagan was able to bring inflation down so fast was only if tight money policy, but also the fact that he grew the economy so quickly. we had 12 percent annualized growth at one point during his presidency and i think the president trump can repeat that economic miracle see what anybody's inside the beltway really believe you can get done the first year quickly five seconds. ej: i think so. david: okay you didn't and thank
