senators tammy duckworth, gary peters, john ossof, and they now support trump on this. and even more senate democrats are expected to back that bill. now, this is a major embarrassing blow to president biden, senator chuck schumer, nancy pelosi, and the far left. we've got the details. gop senator roger marshall will join us in moments. the senator is about to join in that senate meeting with president trump. also this. >> you know, [indiscernible] >> i'll lead an effective strategy to mobilize d [indiscernible] >> after i sign the act into law [indiscernible] liz: we've got a growing scandal. the white house cover-up of president biden's decline. it just hit a new level. president biden just made a huge confession that is expected to outrage democrat voters. lisa booth is going to take it on and she's here to react, plus this story. >> we'll have a peaceful transfer of power here in

america. >> we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power. >> we believe in the peaceful transfer of power. liz: it's all talk. it's not happening. you just heard from biden top democrats promising a peaceful transfer of power. they aren't doing that. the details tonight on attorney general merrick garland set to release jack smith's report about president trump despite a florida judge saying no and stopping that. we'll debate the major hypocrisy on this , and what the justice department still will not release about president biden. but first this story. president trump this hour, he's about to arrive on capitol hill to meet with top gop senate leadership to talk about moving fast to en about the trump agenda to fix america. tomorrow president trump will meet with a full gop senate conference. let's get to grady trimble now standing by live at the scene in washington with the latest action. grady, great to have you on good to see you. reporter: liz good to see you too. the reason president-elect trump is going to be here meeting with
5:04 pm
gop senators in about an hour is because putting so much of his agenda into one bill and getting that bill passed, it's going to be a heavy lift, but combining border security, energy, tax cuts, and the debt sealing into one big beautiful bill, as the president-elect calls it, could be the path of least resistance. still, there could be resistance even from members of trump's own party, especially those who are fiscally conservative. >> i don't think a debt sealing increase should eb in the reconciliation bill. there are many conservatives like myself who haven't voted for all the spending and we're not going to vote for the debt either so forcing us to make a decision on that forces us to maybe be not a yes vote on the tax cuts and other things that we're actually for. reporter: the two-bill approach would prioritize border security and energy, followed by a second separate bill, tackling those tax cuts. lawmakers who want one bill warned though, even if the first
5:05 pm
bill passes, a second be at-risk of failing. >> the best and quickest approach for us to deliver on president trump's priorities and what the 77 million americans who sent him to washington asked for is one big beautiful bill. failure is not an option, and that's why i discourage two reconciliation bills. reporter: trump says he is open to two bills but he has made it extremely clear, liz, that he prefers that one bill. he's known as a deal-maker. we'll see if he gets any closer to closing this one with this meeting today. liz: that was a great report grady trimble thanks for the updates good to see you. now for more on this , from senate budget senate homeland security it's great to have on again kansas senator roger marshall. it's a pleasure to see you thanks so much for joining us tonight. you're going to be at the meeting with president trump and just about less than an hour. how fast will the senate move to enact the trump agenda?
5:06 pm
>> liz happy new year to you and all your listeners. i can't wait to sit down with president trump. we're ready to roll up our sleeves. i think we're ready to enact it now. we've been working on these issues now for over a year, and we're ready to deliver on them. that's why we got to get this reconciliation bill right. i know there's a lot of talk back and forth but eventually it's president trump's play call. i think that the house, the senate we agree on the same goals. your last reporter just reiterated the importance of securing the border, making the trump tax cuts permanent, taking care of the debt sealing, whether it's one bill or two bill, the important thing is to get it across the finish line and what i think most people aren't listening to is to get all those votes over on the house. to get those votes from new york and new jersey, and they want that salt tax deduction. so if they aren't going to get that then they need the sweetener and that's the border and why they got to put this together. i think we should put senators put ourselves in their shoes and look, i tell everyone.
5:07 pm
you don't have to win every debate to be successful here. this is the only way to get it through the house and that's what we need. liz: what's the sweetener about the border? >> well i would fear any republican that would vote against a border bill, which is the lead part of this , that they will get primaried so i think that every republican over there in the house if there is the president trump's border package which is the number one issue, then that's exactly what we should be working on, so that's the sweetener. liz: okay, senator this breaking news. we've got nine liberal senators including independent senator angus king in a surprise turnaround now say they will vote to move the laken riley act to the senate. it's liberal democrat senators tammy duckworth, john ossof, john hick en looper. isn't that a big blow to joe biden and nancy pelosi and chuck schumer and the far left? this is an embarrassment to them. the laken riley act will let i.c.e. arrest and detain illegal aliens who have committed theft, burglary or shoplifting until
5:08 pm
they are deported. we've got nine nfl athletes hit by home invasions across the country. minority, hispanic, black communities getting hit hard by illegal alien crime. now we've got nine liberal senators saying yes, move the laken riley bill. they are for it. what do you think? >> well i think they are finally listening to the american people. that their number one concern this biden inflation is the safety and security of their family so we've heard that over and over. this was the number one polling issue was the number one issue for at least a year before the election, so i think they hear them saying that. liz: we now have news coming in. the trump motorcade is now approaching capitol hill in moment we're expecting to see president trump exit his secret service protected vehicle and we're going to stay on the news there. it's breaking news happening right now. let's please listen to president trump here and getting his agenda through the senate. watch this. >> i like one big beautiful bill and i always have. i always will, but if two is
5:09 pm
more certain, it does go a little bit quicker because you can do the immigration stuff early. i like the idea of the one big bill but i would live either way but they will be coming down. the senators also will be coming down and ultimately we'll be meeting in the white house. >> it's always hard to bring down prices when somebody else screwed something up but we'll bring them down and get them down. energy will bring down prices and we'll have a lot of energy and energy is what brought it up. energy and the bad spending is what brought it up. liz: so, senator? what do we know about the game plan now and getting the trump agenda enacted? what's going to move first? >> well i think that the president is practicing the art of the deal. he's listening to both sides and will measure twice and cut once here. i think it will end up being one bill and the only thing that gets through the house so we need to get this right. i know chairman crapo is working hard in the senate finance committee and chairman smith over in the house ways and means is working hard to get the tax part together and getting the border part together will be easy and then we've got to really focus on those tax cuts
5:10 pm
and the debt ceiling. liz: senator roger marshall. to recap president trump has now arrived on capitol hill to meet with senate gop leadership. senator marshall will be at the meeting. good to see you let's listen to this. >> the only thing my being the oldest president, i know more world leaders than any one of you ever met in your whole goddamned life. >> you be quiet until i speak, okay? that's what i say. good idea? >> whose next? >> mr. president? >> let me answer your question. >> it's a great asset. more inflation. >> that is your judgment. that is your judgment. >> that be , to me, joe biden's obvious cognizant decline that became undeniable in the televised debate. >> at the presidential debate? >> unquestioned and he insisted he could still run for president. we should have forcefully questioned whether he was fit
5:11 pm
for office for another four years, which could have led to a primary for the democrats. liz: first you heard president biden yelling and being abusive with reporters and you just heard from veteran cbs news jane crawford, this sunday saying president biden's obvious mental decline was the most under reported story of 2024. the biden white house cover-up is the new scandal. the hill newspaper reports democrat senators now call this "corrupt." that there will be a reckoning for democrats. we've got a new gallup poll americans now rank biden as the worst president since nixon. joining us now fox news political analyst a great writer and thinker, lisa booth. lisa? what do you make of all of that and also this. let's get to this quickly. president biden finally admitted to usa today that yes, he himself is not sure he would have lasted four more years in the white house saying, "who the hell knows what i'll be like when i'm 86 years old." what do you make of all of this? >> well then why did he run in
5:12 pm
2024 in the first place? i mean, i think one of the biggest lies that have been told about joe biden is that somehow, he's a good man. this is someone whose a prolific liar, someone whose very corrupt and even when he launched his candidacy in 2020 it was based on the charlottesville lie. these lies that were told about what donald trump said about that event. he said it was a battle for the nation. a battle for the soul of the nation and since then over the past four years, he's corrupted that soul. he's weaponized the government against political opponents. donald trump as well as these pro-life catholics. he has forced our military heros out of their positions over an experimental vaccine. he has encouraged the mutilation of children's bodies in the name of transgenderrism and encouraged abortions. he gave this blanket and corrupt pardon to his son hunter dating back to 2014 when he joined the burisma holdings. and he also lied to us about it. he told us he wasn't going to pardon him when of course he was
5:13 pm
going to and then lied about his knowledge of his son's business dealings, so i think he's going to go down as a failed president for a litany of policy failures, but also, as a liar and corrupt. liz: yeah, i mean, by the way just you're looking at a split screen shot of top gop senate leadership now arriving to meet with president trump on capitol hill about his agenda. so, it's a multiple scandals. it's a cover-up of his decline. it's the corruption scandal of his family profiting off of his government job. it's lawfare attacks against trump. you know, that gallup poll. voters ranked biden as the worst president since nixon. what happened? i mean, biden, pelosi, and chuck schumer kept trying to hammer away that biden was the second fdr. a majority, 54% now biden say biden is below average even poor. you know, let's take a listen. you know whose weighing in on this , lisa? take a moment and listen to former top aid to barack obama slamming biden as "stubborn." watch. >> did you feel like an op-ed
5:14 pm
about january 6 is just the perfect part of how feckless everything feels in this moment? >> yes. >> yes. but if you're too much in the past, this is from the original philosopher, stubborn like an old man, you also become doomed to repeat yourself because you're not adaptable and you don't learn from what's happening in the actual present and so like -- liz: pretty scary critics are saying if trump lost and kamala won we may not have them talking about them. people now increasingly say biden was out of it. he also told usa today he's considering preemptive pardons for public figures like liz cheney, and dr. fauci. that's unconstitutionally and he can't violate the constitution like that. he just sent another half a billion dollars over to ukraine as people are reeling in the l.a. wildfires so whose running the nation? >> well, you know, it's all a mess and donald trump is going to have his work cut out for him
5:15 pm
over the next four years or soon to be president donald trump again, but it was also joe biden and democrat policies and ideas that were rejected. it wasn't just his health. it was the way that democrats run the country. it was the border, the foreign policy, the big government, it was the crazy idea about children and transgenderrism, so kamala harris was also rejected. so this wasn't just about joe biden's age and us all being lied to about that. this was also rejection of the way that democrats run government and the way they see the world as well. liz: lisa boothe, you're terrific. read her, listen to her great stuff. to recap president trump arriving now an capitol hill. the news of the hour. he's about to meet with gop senators. it's one of the goals is extending his tax cuts for all americans, unleashing u.s. oil & gas and shutting the border. we'll monitor this throughout the hour. now this story. >> maybe donald trump can get it done by buying canal. maybe he can get it done some other way but let's give the guy

flexibility to stick the landing. liz: the latest action, that was congressman dusty johnson saying yes, the u.s. should get back the panama canal. the congressman introduced a bill to do that today. coming up, even senate democrats now warming up to president trump's new monroe doctrine on all of this. former trump white house deputy press secretary hogan gidley will join us. he's got a lot to say about it. plus we've got far left prime minister justin trudeau resigned, amid a growing wave of fury and outrage in canada against the liberal far left, against him. but now trudeau is getting ripped on twitter and social media for trying to again attack president trump. we've got seattle radio host jason rantz who will break it down tonight, also this story. >> would the massachusetts state police assist in mass deportations? >> absolutely not. >> we're not going to cooperate or ask our police force to
