and wild fires ripping through la and they're trying to blame trump and the wind and california voters slam catastrophically bad leadership playing russian roulette with their lives. joining us now is conservative actor for california resident antonio sabato jr.. thank you for being on. you left la, you left los angeles after more than 30 years. what is your reaction to california leadership here? >> there's no leadership in california whatsoever. i knew this was going to happen. we've been dealing with fires in california for a very long time and used to live in ventura county. every year fires and fires and it's their fault and the democrats fault in sacramento. all the leadership there with gavin newsom, which is just -- he's horrible and they're all horrible with him and the american people and people in california have to understand, you're pay ago lot of taxes and -- paying a lot of taxes and this is what you get, no water, fire fighters cannot do their

jobs and this goes on with homelessness and security, with taxing and so on. and the border being open and this goes on with fire. now we're dealing with fires -- i went to palisades high school, i went to one of the high schools that got affected and i don't know if the high school is still tanning but all the regulations -- still standing but the regulations and codes in these places and build the foundations and these homes of the life and fires and winds and blame it on the winds and they blame it on themselves and democrats in california and anywhere else in the country and they've ruined everything they did and destroy california. they're destroying los angeles. liz: shouldn't that be a federal independent investigation and here's the thing, newsom strung the water supply and he basically shut down multiple

dams in the state and fish population and over on the biden delegation and she cut nearly 20 ml out of the fire department budget and she gave head of water and power. and they're making astonishing $750,000 and going to make the predicting cespedes torr. would you want the federal government to step in and probe this? >> look what he's done in san francisco. he ruin that had city. one of the most beautiful cities in the world now is a trash can. it's a sewer, and the rest goes with california, and i'm sorry to say this because california should be one of the most beautiful places with no graffiti and no this and homelessness and garbage. these people like you just mentioned, they steal, they take from the american people and never return with anything except destruction.

them and too much power and money and decision making that i don't think anybody can do anything about it. only thing they can do if anything is the voting booth and just like they were president trump and they got to be so fed up and republicans and everything going to vote for this person and i'm sick and tired of this. and that's what's going on. not the safety of the community. my kids went to school in california, i had my little one who's grown up in california right now. now he can't even go outside and breathe because not to mention aftermath what goes on with the fires. but tahin they purposely, these people in power like gavin newsom and the mayor and all these people, they should be responsible, they should go behind bars for a very long time and let people like myself with common sense fix these problems once and for all. liz: thank you.

juan merchan. who is he? state supreme court justice and you want to state him and what is the sentencing about? we have to be real about it. we have to be real about it. the unconstitutional new york case and trump's payment to stormy daniels that will likely get tossed out on appeal and who's back former deputy assistant john yoo. john, great to see you. what do you make of all this? >> i think judge merchan's white wail tomorrow and he and district attorney alvin bragg in new york city have been up to all along because he's already said he's not going to sentence trump to jail, but he still pes

to sentence trump with just 11 days before trump becomes president so there's no time for trump to effectively appeal this case. at the same time we all know that merchan is going to either have to throw the case out or hold a new jury trial at some point because the supreme court on july 1 said this trial was flawed. what merchan would do and it's political is dragged for his feet for six months and could have done any of the other thing sos that he could insure that trump would being the first felon president in our history. liz: he wants that asterisk against trump's name and he asked the supreme court to intervene and this is the bobs and records case that is a misdemeanor's case and like parking tickets and alvin brag and the da ramping up federal felonies because he cited campaign finance violations.

goatling that's another reason yours truly whole trial was done and the supreme court said in july that president trump has immunity and the exact kinds of evidence merchan introduced were unconstitutionally introduced and the second point you just made, merchan here and bragg are trying to clean the trump -- claim that trump stole the election and violated federal campaign laws. that's up to the justice department and the ftc to prosecute and not up to any two bit prytanea new york city to try and relitigate the whole election out of 2016. justice department looked into this and ftc and decided not to bring cases and merchan and bragg tried to take this accounting law and tried to turn it into a claim that trump somehow stolen the 2016 election. while the 2024 results, i think, give a lie to that.
