joining us o'leary ventures chairman, he's mr. wonderful, he's kevin o'leary. it's so great to have you back on. >> thank you. liz: was that a serious question by democrats about trump politicizing the doj? u.s. senators have said for years the democrats were the ones who did that to attack their political rival trump, and they tried to throw trump in jail. now they are suddenly worried trump will politicize the doj? >> i was expecting good political theater and i got it and that's what you should expect from these. from 30,000 feet, these nominees 99% of them are going to get confirmed and this is at a break-neck speed. the old days there be two hearings and now we're doing it in one? that's because most people realize they are going to glide through. there may be a couple of controversies we don't yet know but this is a chance to put on hard core political theater, just before the inauguration. and, you know, then it's back to business as usual, so i'm not surprised, and i'm quite enjoying it. there's good theater.
5:07 pm
liz: it's pretty interesting to watch. i mean, you just saw pam bondi remind adam schiff he was censored by the house for misleading america and trump russia, basically, just mislead on what really happened and poisoning the national conversation about it. trump has said pam bondi will stop bipartisan, rather bias democrats weaponizing the doj and refocus it on fighting crime to make america safe again so what did you make of the moment when p pam bondi told adam schif his home state of california that robberies and crime is through the roof. >> all lawmakers, particularly democratic lawmakers from california should be on high alert. there's a lot of pissed off ombres in california. this is going to have probably major political rom any ramific. i particularly would like to see any federal aid package of which i'm participant as a

taxpayer and every other taxpayer in america including those in california, i'd like to see that aid tied to the removal of bass and newsom. i'd like to see them both gone. they are terrible managers. the whole structure of that state makes it uninvestable in the first place. i called it before it was on fire, you know, dumpster fire. san francisco is a lawless wasteland. now the looting in california is ridiculous in los angeles. the place is a mess. it's not going to be fixed for a decade, and as a taxpayer, this shouldn't be a partisan issue. it's bad management. schiff's part of that bad management, and it's now manifesting itself in an absolute disaster that's wiped out people's livelihood and their lives. of course, everybody should be pissed, and he should be concerned about that. they could all lose their jobs. this may be a big red state, one-day. liz: well you make an important
5:09 pm
point because that's what pam bondi and president trump is trying to do is refocus america on fixing america's problems like california. kevin o'leary, mr. wonderful, you just proved why you're called that. i'm not just saying that to get you back on but you're great. thank you so much. >> take care. >> we have too many people here, in air-conditioned offices, that like to point fingers at the guys in dark and dangerous places and the gals in helicopters and territory who are doing things that people in washington d.c. would never dare to do. liz: that was pete hegseth at his senate confirmation hearing yesterday calling out d.c. bureaucrats who work in comfortable offices, putting american men and women into war. reuters reports pete hegseth came away unscathed from democrat grilling. let's welcome to the show retired navy seal bill brown, rob sweetman, thank you, both, sirs, for serving america as you did. you fought hard.
5:10 pm
bill was one of the primary organizers of yesterday's veteran's march in d.c. to support pete hegseth and rob helped get veterans to travel to washington to rally for pete hegseth. bill, let's start with you. why was it important for veterans to go to d.c. to rally behind pete hegseth? >> because we served our country. we've been in harms way, and we love our nation and we realize that pete loves our nation. he served in harms way as well. we've realized how messed up the pentagon leadership has been. we know pete's the right person to fix it. just a couple failures with the pentagon that really rallied up the seal community and the ven veteran community as a whole. the pentagon approved a plea deal with mohammed responsible for murdering 2,966 american citizens and he agreed to a plea deal where he doesn't get the death penalty. liz: that's 9/11, right? >> yes. liz: i'm sorry keep going.
5:11 pm
>> i was a seal in 9/11 and have no doubt the seal community finds this outrageous. have no doubt that we find it fact they withdrew afghanistan, gave over $7 billion worth of military equipment to jihad the taliban who have american blood on their hands and currently giving them millions of dollars each month. the seal community and veteran community finds this outrageous. the fact that they let a spy balloon go over an entire nation, collect information on sensitive military installations, the seal community and veteran community finds this outrageous. also, have no doubt what the sophisticated portable weapon systems out there, the fact that none of the intellectuals in the pentagon had the courage to speak up and say maybe we shouldn't have an open border because it's a national security threat. all these reasons rallied us to the cause. not only did we support pete but we need pete, because really, it's about protection. it's about protecting you, me, and every other american, and
5:12 pm
your previous speaker talked about mismanagement and how that cost lives and lost l.a. well it's going to do the same with us and that's why we need pete and we can't get pete in there fast enough. liz: you know, bill, excuse me, rob, bill just laid it out beautifully. american soldiers lay their lives on the line. they and their families, like you know, have sacrificed so much for america. so now we've got this story. when you talk to veterans, are they worried that biden did focus the pentagon too much on dei, and going woke, and not on lethality, not on meritocracy or accountability because we dug into the numbers and look at what pentagon under biden is spending, over $400 million on dei under biden. i mean, so rob? isn't the u.s. military in a major recruiting crisis? i mean, we saw that one branch, it's only one branch is meeting its recruiting threshold. what do you think, rob?
5:13 pm
>> that's exactly right, and i was going to bring up the dei. because the issue is really a rotting away of what it means to be in the military and to be a lethal fighting force. look, we need to get our recruiting numbers up and that's not going to happen when people are wondering when they're leaving high school if they should join the military, if they know if they are going to have some type of gender issue, or if they are forced into jabs. i mean, i've got one friend that i just spoke with the other day, who was forced out of the military because he chose not to take the forced jab. now that's very common, because we saw 8,000 service members lost their careers. they are no longer in the military because of that and we hope that trump can come back and restore some of that and get some of them back. but a lot of the damage has already been done. liz: rob i hear you loud and clear. you know, i never talk, we never talk about it. my family will be really angry with me. we've got family members who fought in practically every war
5:14 pm
since the civil war on the union side. my mother never knew her father because he was hit with muster gas in world war i and so she lost him during the great depression and she lost her brother-in-law who died from pneumonia in fdny. we know what it means. my sister's brother-in-law died in 9/11. he was a fireman. so, i just want to get back to you, bill, on this , because what rob just said is so important. when you see 431 million bucks spent on dei, when you see 8,000 soldiers let go because they didn't want to take the covid vaccine, which had dangerous side effects like blood clots, you know, when you see the salaries not going up for the u.s. troops, do you think america is finally waking up to the abuses the biden white house put on the pentagon? >> 100% and it's crystal clear if you look at the last election. president trump won every swing state and i'll tell you the truth. if there wasn't voter, if there
5:15 pm
was voter id, he would have won every state. i think the american people rose up and they've had enough. you can look what happened in new york city recently where the borders aren't properly vetted. you have americans getting burnt alive on subways. look what's happening in l.a. a beautiful city and complete chaos because of mismanagement and the american people have had enough. the men and women who served our country stry have had enough. their ideas are so bad they have to open up the borders for votes. their ideas are so bad and mismanagement is so bad they are destroying our military. their ideas are so bad they are talking about standards and i'll tell you the truth current warfare is getting extremely advanced. what we need to do is actually raise the standards and offer similar to the corporate sector, incentive to get the personnel we need. liz: so what bill said, rob by the way, and bill, it's obnoxious for an anchor to talk about their personalized and i
