5:08 pm
president reports president trump literally ripped democrats, joe biden, kamala harris, and obama right to their faces. voters say it is clear president trump loves america. biden loves his democrat party. what do you make of president trump. he's going to sign executive order for two national emergencies. one, for the border and one for u.s. energy. >> well, he campaigned on it. the border was one of the top three and people are expecting him to do this. 71% of the polls say expect this action. they voted for his action. they want execution on this action and he's got to deliver and he's doing it right now. i mean, he can't go any faster. he just became president at 12:01 so that's a good move. energy has been a mandate forever in terms of security and you can't have a buoyant economy without energy security and complete dependence because you don't want to be imports venezuelan oil at the time when the world is so turbulent so it's a very big part of his

mandate. now, i happen to notice and this is what i love to do because i like to see whose schmoozing, because there's business being done, daniel smith was here and she's had the most face time with trump over the last couple of months because of energy. he wants to light up that pipeline again. she is one of the three amigos to do that. liz: you mean the keystone? >> yeah, well they aren't going to call it keystone xl, because that was a bad look. you don't call a pipeline extra large. so i think it's going to come back out as the freedom pipeline, circumvent montana, double production in north america, total security, lowest cost. i mean, i like all that. it's good for business. liz: interesting. electricity, gas went up like 33% under biden. kevin o'leary, interesting. always wonderful to talk to mr. wonderful. good to have you on kevin thanks for joining us. >> take care.

5:11 pm
watch it live outside, and he gave auto workers for trump a shout-out and it was just amazing. the place erupted. a lot of michigan people in there, so we know what that means. the ev's, the mileage standards, the cap a standards are all going to be walked back and reasonable and it will not force the manufactures into building electric vehicles and that's going to save the american auto industry so we're very, very excited about president trump's second term. liz: p rae, how do you feel? a new cbs poll, 60% a majority of americans are now optimistic about the next four years under trump. even moreso than they were in 2017. what do you think? >> we are excited to have our president back after suffering for the past four years. my city is currently under an invasion and he is coming to save us so we are elated that president trump is in office.

chicago is going to be tomorrow number one for the border czar and chicago is ready to greet them at the airport. thank you, president trump, and thank you america for helping us save chicago. liz: so, save chicago. brian how do you feel about what p rae just said? >> he's not only saving chicago, liz. he's saving detroit and the domestic auto industry, which means south carolina, tennessee, georgia, and he's not just saving america. he is saving the world, because he's going to end the fighting in ukraine. he's going to settle the differences in every part of the world where we're involved and people are going to respect america again, so this -- liz: let's stick on getting rid of the electric carman dates and the green new deal. we'll come back to you in a second. we didn't know this. president biden issued 125 executive actions in total to go after u.s. oil & gas. can you talk to us, what the that meant for the u.s. auto
5:13 pm
worker and p rae, we'll come to you in two seconds. >> yeah, well all of the requirements on the auto industry hurt the auto industry. we need government out of the american auto industry. the consumers will tell the manufactures what they want to buy and that's what's important. he's going to drill baby drill and that's going to be beautiful for the gas-powered engines. we've got the power. we've got the oil. let's use it and save the american auto industry. donald trump is going to do that. liz: p rae let's come to you. tom homan will join us. he is trump's border czar. we're seeing a major push by democrats to ratchet up over-reaction and "hysteria" in the news media about deportations about trump's crackdown on the border. he's basically saying, no more illegal alien crossings. p rae can you talk to us about that because are the american people getting the information from the media, about how bad it is with biden's border chaos?
5:14 pm
>> well, we have to understand that that media is legacy media and they're doing what they're paid to do which is confuse the american people. here, in my city, the chicago teacher's union has been traveling to venezuela for over a decade, recruiting these people to come to us with invoices on their backs, and they didn't care, so if the democratic party is not interested in saving the american taxpayer then it's time for us to move on and we've made that very clear that the democratic party is done in this country. they don't mind giving away our resources and letting in terrorists. a terrorist cell was discovered last week in chicago and a woman was found fake police uniforms and id's in a random apartment and they aren't talking about but they want to come giving us hysteria about the poor people deported after they chose to be the criminal act by coming into our country. liz: we've got a lot of action happening right now.

5:16 pm
president trump will be, and i'm going to shake his hand and i'm going to speak to him and tell him thank you, sir, for everything you're doing for michigan, for america, and for the world. liz: p rae you going to any in rawinaugural balls tonight? >> yes, we are going to the liberty ball as well as well as the multi-cul tural ball so we can speak to the globe about our very real issues in chicago that not only affect us but america and the entire planet. god bless america and congratulations. liz: p rae talk to us about how minority groups support deportations. we see the polls coming in from pew, from the new york times, cnn, new york times, ipsos, 87% of the new york times poll say yes, deportations of criminal illegal aliens. president trump is saying you've got to shut the border now to all illegal crossings. how are minority black and hispanic groups reacting to that? >> well, i am black but i'm
5:17 pm
also an american negro, that makes me foundational to this country and the immigration story has absolutely nothing to do with me. we find it very offensive that people can choose to break laws in this country and then our government rewards them with our tax dollars. there's no sanctuary for any american that chooses to commit federal crimes but if you're an illegal alien that in the city of chicago and other sanctuary cities have ways to protect you from federal prosecution. it's not fair. we don't support it. we support the american people because we are american and we are very tired of the narrative that people like me are in some fight with foreigners against white americans because we are all non-white. that's over. it's one nation, undergod, indivisible with liberty and justice for all and we are on board too with every other american. this is not a racial issue. this is a patriotism issue and we're ready to get this started. liz: okay, brian, p rae, thank you so much for being with us
5:18 pm
good to see you. >> thank you. liz: we are awaiting president trump at capital one arena about to speak in washington. the presidential parade has been underway. the president is expected to deliver remarks and sign a series of day one executive orders. now to this. >> chicago is in trouble because your mayor sucks and your governor sucks. >> [applause] >> if you're the chicago mayor, doesn't want to help, he can step aside and we'll start right here in chicago, illinois. liz: again, we're staying on the story president trump, he's taking immediate action to literally shut down the border. trump's border czar tom homan joins us on what's coming next including deportations plus he will talk to us about why the democrats are purposely ratcheting up the false hysteria in the media about all this. polls show the majority of americans say stop the biden border chaos. if you want the american dream
