liz: let's talk about what's being called the radical left's fleecing of america, keeping everyone's taxes, inflation, mortgage rates high. we have kristi noem, dhs secretary, transportation secretary sean duffy visiting the damage from hurricane helena in north carolina. democrats not doing that, instead protesting like outside the social security headquarters about protecting government waste and corruption. what do you make of this? now elon musk is saying there appears to be significant funds off social security to pay for illegal aliens. what do you think is going on? >> democrats now are on the record advocating for , in support of your tax dollars going to illegal aliens. they are supporting rampant fraud, waste and abuse in the american government and elon musk, thank god, is exposing so much of this and we've talked about the two words that are important for this administration, liz. it's not just the transparency. we're getting that now. it's the accountability.
5:07 pm
you heard kristi noem come over-the-top and say whoever has been sending this money instead of people who have suffered greatly from natural disasters, sending that money to illegal aliens in lavish hotels in new york they will be fired. that's the difference. the grift is not just exposed for all to see. it's over. i for one could not be happier about it. liz: we just saw nearly 60 million went for hotel rooms for illegal aliens in new york city. look at the numbers. doge has canceled at least $5 billion in nearly 160 dei contracts. let's please show what doge is tracking. they just cut the $4 billion that was going to the united nations over climate change. a lot of taxpayer money not actually going to research, hogan, but to sustain massive bureaucracy and overhead. it pays for things like lavish travel around the world. what do you make of all of this? >> of course and dei programs all over the world and plays and books and this nonsense, we talked about this off the top
5:08 pm
though. the american people wanted change. they wanted to see where their taxpayer dollars were going and they wanted these agencies to return to the focus of why they exist in the first place, to make people's lives better. donald trump is taking each of these agencies and refocusing them on their stated goals and stated purpose. you seen it with every cabinet secretary in place so far and thankfully someone like elon musk who isn't a cabinet secretary but has been given a lot of authority by donald trump to go in there and expose all of these problems. they're fixing it and the american people love it and you see it with polling no question. liz: thank you, hogan gidley now listen to this. watch. >> i think it's crazy, and we have to solve the efficiency problem. we have to solve the fraud, waste, abuse, all of the things that have gone into government. you take a look at the usaid, the kind of fraud in there. we're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars of money going to places where it

shouldn't be going so i don't know if it's kickbacks but look, i ran on this and the people want me to find it and i've had a great help with elon musk whose been terrific. when a president can't look for fraud and waste and abuse we don't have a country. liz: that was president trump on elon musk's doge finding massive waste and corruption. that's saying that voters want this. treasury secretary scott bessent said he personally vetted that doge does not have any access whatsoever to change computer codes affecting federal payments like social security. it's only read-only data. now elon musk is saying they are pointing out the gift and waste to cut in washington. let's welcome the host of the smash hit podcast on outkick.com, tomi lahren is fearless is the name of that show. host tomi lahren is here. what's your reaction to this? good to see you again because now we've got federal judges, one appointed by obama, blocking doge. there's a court hearing this friday on that. it's a temporary block.

we have a federal judge whose basically trying to freeze the attempt to cut spending. do you think u.s. attorney general pam bondi can vacate these federal judges rulings or do you see this going to the supreme court? what's your read on it? >> well i'll tell you this. this appears to be the new lawfare method. we know the previous method was to go after donald trump and several jurisdictions with activists, judges and now this is the new work-around as going after the executive branch and everything the american voters empowered donald trump to do and by proxy, elon musk and doge, but what's wild to me is that this is the hill democrats want to die on. this is their resistance. now, liz, i understood it in the paths when they wanted to die on the hill of woke and trans rights and illegal immigrants. that's to the core of their base, the bleeding hearts. okay i don't agree with it but there's some rationale behind that if you're a democrat but this to me is just
5:11 pm
unexplainable. they really want to die on the hill of government waste, fraud and abuse and not allowing elon musk and doge to take a look at the bookkeeping and cut out the fat and maybe return some of this money to the american taxpayer or i don't know, liz, heaven forbid we have another natural disaster and the american people are actually taken care of by the federal government that they pay into. i don't understand the rationale or the strategy that democrats are going with here, but i don't think it's going to be as popular as they think it is. liz: you know, we hear you loud and clear. the americans pay half their taxes to the government, and half of that, the taxes, that money is going because of this massive waste, fraud and abuse. mortgage rates are staying high because inflation is staying high because of federal waste, fraud and abuse. what do you make of this. elon musk just hours ago slammed democrat treasury secretary larry somers, robert rubin and janet yellen saying, "tough." too bad. deal with it. we need to stop the d.c. grift
5:12 pm
in washington. democrats overall are loudly complaining because a lot will lose their grift. what do you say? >> well i'll tell you this is definitely a new era and i love to see it and the quick and decisive movement here. there have been administrations in the past, the left and the right and the center that said we're going to cut waste, fraud and abuse and there's always a promise and a review and then it goes through several processes and nothing ever happens and we still have waste, fraud and abuse and deficit spending and everything else, bloated budgets but this administration is so different. they are saying no we'll just go in and do it, we're going to do it on behalf of the american people. maybe they aren't going about it by conventional means because conventional means haven't worked for decades and generations. they are doing something a little different here and of course they are calling out the grift and exposing it but as elon musk said i'm going to show the american people what's going on here and the american people can decide if they want to spend this money and waste. i don't think that that's going
5:13 pm
to happen and that's what democrats are so afraid of, but if this is resistance they want to mount this administration, best of luck to you in the polling. this is not the way to get your party back on track. liz: it was al gore and bill clinton who said cut government waste and they are complaining about musk doing read-only. his team is just doing read-only, the federal payment system. tomi, we looked into it. government bureaucrats at the level of low level of just gs-7, making about 35,000 or 45,000 a year only, they can access and break into the codes for the u.s. federal payment system. these guys are just reading the data. they aren't changing social security benefit checks. final word. >> they aren't worried about the privacy of americans. they are afraid of being exposed. that's what this all is and "the talking" points and this whole thing of a coo they have been trained to say is really ridiculous. the american people are not on their side. i would encourage democrats to
