>> i would say the one thing we know about china consistently they've always worked around trade balls they've done in the environmental space in the manufacturing for clean energy and other southeast asian countries and they offshore much of their work so they can control much of the supply chain trade even in this case where will say let's change the loopholes they will find new ones, the way that we fix this is for the u.s. differently be more competitive here at home and deal with the regulatory burdens that make it difficult to manufacture and produce things in america predict the regulatory issues or something else whether the labor department or the epa that those can be dialed back you would have a faster ramp-up in u.s. production, that is the thought and the goal. for maria spoke with defense tech firm palmer lochte on "sunday morning futures" yesterday about the u.s. buying military drones from china.

a part of your answer, tom homan has made it very clear they're going after criminals and people that pose a threat to safety here in the united states. even in cities like new york it's a sanctuary city you see pushback from maybe not so much mayor adams but others that want to protect in making a political statement, you are protecting the person that is working at the restaurant but you're also protecting the criminal. how do we deal with this issue where it can work your federal authorities and tom homan working with sanctuary cities or cities like milwaukee in your state to where we get the bad guys out. >> secretary nome and tom homan made it very clear there is 1.5 million people that have deportation orders, tom homan just said 600,000 people with criminal records. you start with them first that is 2 million people you start

fiscal sanity and i'm certainly not suggesting that those are easy votes when you're getting cuts in your district but all americans are going to have to see these kind of budget cuts in our respective districts and states for the following reason. united states of america has been on a fiscal cliff or on a path to a fiscal cliff for too long both republicans and democrats in congress and on the white house are responsible for that. we live in an opportunity because the leadership of donald trump and jd vance in elon musk and being able to correct this once and for all ultimately the little bit of political pain that might exist from katsina particular congressional district will far be outweighed by the benefits by the great civilization. i can be more optimistic about the benefits that will come from these members of congress making those are decisions. >> emily domenech is onset with me she has a question. >> i could not agree more to do the budget cuts but isn't that

hard to tell the members who are in districts where democrats typically when into two-seat majority in the house, how do we balance that with our desire to backup trump's agenda over the four years of his presidency. >> it is a fair question but two things the first is the american people elected donald trump with the mandate in the mandate is not to nibble around the edges the mandate happened because donald trump in the clarion call that he has to save american civilization first and foremost by restoring common sense and part of the common sense is fiscal restraint. the second point that goes to the heart of your question. there may be politically difficult decisions that members of congress have to make especially ference swing districts. i will submit there are far more swing districts by democrats that are in danger because they continue to express their fealty to nonsense than there are republicans in swing districts he would think a very capable as

individual members of congress and explaining those votes if they do the following that is tied their vote to the revolution of common sense the restoration of america that's happening before our very eyes. every optimistic about what happens when politicians talk about aspirational vision for their people everyday americans for too long have been subjugated by the nonsense in washington. cheryl: i agree with that sentiment and you hope when push comes to shove they will maybe support the broader goal which is to shrink the size of the federal government since we have $36 trillion in debt. you recently printed op-ed for the new york post making the government great again, by great turning president trump's reform into law tell us about what the goal is at the op-ed. >> the goal is to make sure members of congress are putting into law and are codifying the

substance of the great executive orders that we've seen from the trump administration. you know as well we think executive orders are outstanding they are restoring common sense and reminding people that boys are boys and girls are girls. the thing that we have to remember if we take a step back from the wonderful moment. in four years, god forbid we can have a radical leftist at the white house who undoes all of us and the only way to prevent that from happening is for congress to step up and make sugar turning into permanent body executive orders that will take a little bit of work the speaker of the house mike johnson, majority leader thune had didn't excellent job up to this point and what were trying to do by publishing this op-ed is to encourage them to take the steps to do what the american people who love with the executive orders but there also wanting to make sure in four years, eight years and 20 years the common sense it's been restored by president trump has become law. cheryl: you are at the art conference in london and i'm
