miami. look whose here the one and only fox news senior white house correspondent jacqui heinrich standing by live with the story. what's happening now great to see you again. reporter: great to see you, liz. this war of words between the u.s. and ukraine has really ramped up. the national security advisor mike waltz said that the relationship between presidents trump and zelenskyy is frustrated right now and it's not moving in the right direction, but he said the root of the problem is really
11:25 pm
ukraine's refusal to sign on to this u.s. proposed deal that would continue u.s. military support in exchange for access to ukraine's rare earth minerals. take a listen here. >> we look at the type of aid the europeans are providing and it's often in the form of loans that's being repaid with the interest on seized russian assets. we believe the american taxpayer deserves to recoup much of their investment. all of that's an opportunity for ukraine. reporter: trump said ukraine should hold elections ahead of a peace deal and it's something russia has been pushing for but trump said this isn't a russian thing but his personal view claiming zelenskyy let this war drag on and cited his approval rating at 4% which zelenskyy disputes and today it's at 57% but it was this accusation that upset ukraine the most. >> i heard oh, we weren't invited. well you've been there for three-years. you should have ended it, and never started it. you could have made a deal. i could have made a deal
11:26 pm
for ukraine. reporter: to that, zelenskyy said trump is living in a "disinformation space" which triggered a strong response from the president on truth social saying he refuses to have elections and very low in ukrainian polls and only thing he's good at was playing biden like a fiddle and a dictator, zelenskyy better move fast or he won't have a country left. there are many questions about how ukraine could carry out the presidents wish to hold new elections but critics said this plays into putin's hand, however, president trump really seems only to care about the bottom line. listen to this. >> how would you counter the perception, because russia is pushing for this , obviously. they don't hold true elections, that that be a capitulation of some sort. how would you guard against potentially russia installing a puppet government and finally, how would that new election have an impact on getting zelenskyy to sign the rare earth minerals deal? >> look.
11:27 pm
you have leadership and i like him personally. he's fine, but i don't care about personally. i care about getting the job done. you have leadership how that's allowed a war to go on. reporter: so, it seems the relationship has frayed even further in the last 24 hours. we're going to hear from the president later on this hour. we'll bring any headlines that come out of it. liz: great reporting jacqui heinrich thank you for that update we appreciate you very much now please listen to this. >> all we're trying to do here is restore the will of the people through the president, and what we're finding is that there's an unelected bureaucracy, speaking of unelected there's a vast federal bureaucracy that is opposed to the president and the cabinet and you look at say d.c. voting. it's 92% kamala. so we're 92% kamala. that's a lot. >> they don't like me here either. >> i think about that number a
11:28 pm
lot. 92% is basically almost everyone. if the will of the president is not implemented and the president is representative of the people, that means the will of the people is not being implemented and that means we don't live in a democracy. american taxpayers have been getting a terrible deal because look at the last administration. can anyone, can any reasonable person say the last administration was caring? liz: that was elon musk with president trump talking to shawn hannity. again president trump is about to address the miami investment summit. the issue here, the u.s. government is run by democrats. this is the debate. is it really a constitutional system of government when the government's run by an unelected regulatory administrative state that answers to the democrats? isn't this the real reason why democrats are freaking out about doge and trump because it's about stopping their one party running the government. look whose here, from senate arms services the wonderful alabama senator tommy tuberville. senator great to see you again. thanks for joining us.
11:29 pm
what's your take on this? let's show the data. dells dominate and have run for decades 25 top u.s. agencies. the justice department, hhs, treasury, education, dhs, energy department. this is data coming out of ucb and the foundation for government accountability so that's the real issue isn't it? >> yeah, it is. it is, liz. it's way over-bloated. the democrats have had total control for the past four years and really what 12 of the last 16 they have had control of the federal government and it has grown and it's out of control. the american people can't afford what we have right now. doge is doing a great job. doge is a threat to the democrats democracy. that's what they are really afraid of and so we have to make cuts and have to grow the country. if we don't do that we'll lose the country we all grew and love. liz: when democrats say doge is a threat to democracy, they really mean a threat to their democrat-run bureaucracy. >> exactly. exactly. they do not want their money
11:30 pm
touched. they don't care about paying bills or about anything other than spending. they have no representation in terms of appreciating what we really have here, liz. these young kids need to grow up understanding that whatever we have, we've got to pay for. the democrats are totally against it. they just want to spend money, buy things, it's like a spoiled brat that grew up down the street. they get everything they want, but at the end of the day, they don't really understand responsibility. liz: yeah, it's a great point you make because a lot of that government waste and corruption could go to raises for teachers, cops, firemen, first responder, healthcare workers and soldiers. let's get your reaction to stephen miller sparring with c tcnnabout cutting waste. >> the u.s. government has $36 trillion in debt. the interest payments on the debt exceed the national defense budget. the american people are exhausted and tired of watching
11:31 pm
their tax dollars be corruptly spent, abused, wasted and every sense robbed and stolen from them. this president, for the first time in history, is committed to restoring accountability at every level of the federal government. you may assert there's no waste in the pentagon. you may assert there's no waste -- >> i don't think anyone would assert that, steven. i don't think anyone -- >> why are you not celebrating these cuts if you agree there's waste and abuse, if you agree there is corruption. why are you not celebrating the cuts, the reforms being instituted? every day no action is taken, the entire -- >> stephen let's calm down. >> the salaries american workers are taxed disappear forever. >> let's calm down. we're not having a debate. >> there's no reason -- >> about whether there are places. >> you're trying to debate me, and i will be as excited as i want to be about the fact that we are saving americans billions of dollars. liz: yeah, i mean, half our
11:32 pm
taxes go to paychecks rather go to federal state and local taxes. half our paychecks. final word, sir. >> at the end of the day stephen miller is right. the democrats should be jumping up and down celebrating along with us as republicans and americans, because we are finally finding out that all of the money that's going to a lot of these agencies is being wasted or stolen, and so you can tell it at the end of the day, they love their money. they love to spend it on what they want to spend it on and not the american people. liz: senator tuberville we love it when you tell us like it is great to have you on again good to see you. let's move on to this story. elon musk and doge digging into now more than doge is at more than two dozen federal agencies. it's a scandal stuff doge continues to find social security creating an unrough. what exactly is the democrat case for social security listing people older than america or the u.s. constitution in their benefits database? hillary vaughn is breaking the news let's get to hillary vaughn on capitol hill.
11:33 pm
reporter: good evening, liz. having people who were actually dead listed as alive in the social security administration's database is a big problem, because even if they are not getting social security benefits, the inspector general warns that other agencies who rely on this database, like the treasury, could be sending checks to these people, as recently an 2023 the social security administration had over 18 million people born before 1920 putting them at 105 years old, as still alive. >> how many of them were getting paid social security? because if that's the case it's a massive fraud. how many are being paid? maybe millions of them, but it's a total fraud. also a lot of illegal immigrants are in social security that shouldn't be there. reporter: according to the congressional research service there are non-citizens eligible for benefits paid out through the social security administration, 36 5,000 non-citizens received these benefits in december of
11:34 pm
2021 getting about 500 bucks a month, half of these people also collected an additional social security benefit and that's what we know about that is legal. democrats in the meantime not impressed with what doge is digging up. they want elon musk to testify in front of congress. >> it's not even just nonsense. it's just they are idiots. >> this is nothing more than a money grab. he's not out there trying to save money for the american people. that's not what he's doing. he's lining his pockets. elon? if you're watching, come through, boo, because you haven't shown up to the doge summit. >> there is an outside push for a doge derivative end, all these savings doge has dug up some people want divided up and shared with taxpayers. elon musk says he talked to president trump about the idea but doing that would ignore the reality that we are $36 trillion in debt. liz? liz: it's huge. ill.hillary vaughn great journa. listen to president trump here. >> listen to these numbers .
11:35 pm
these are fraud. $19 million for biodiversity conservation in nepal, $1.5 million for voter confidence. we want to give them confidence in liberia. $14 million for social cohesion in mali. $2.5 million for inclusive democracies in south africa. >> what about his business? what if there is -- contract to otherwise? >> he's got a conflict. >> i think it's very unfortunate they are trying to be fear-mongers with the american people, because what's really going on here. here is treasury, two people, they had read-only access to the systems, and they've remodeled the system and they have no ability to touch anything. they have no ability to make any changes. there are very strict guardrails around them, and this kind of fear mongering doesn't help anybody, but it tells me that people are worried that they're
11:36 pm
part of the waste, fraud and abuse. liz: okay that was president trump bringing the receipts on government waste and then you heard him and treasury secretary scott bessent truth bombing democrat fear mongering over doge saying they are putting up guardrails around doge and elon musk. bessent is saying they are protesting so loudly because democrats are the ones exploiting the waste, fraud and abuse. they are gaining from that. let's welcome to the show gop strategist ford o'connell. great to see you again, ford. what do you make of this? is the democrat fear mongering winning over voters? what do you think? is it working? >> no it's not working. what elon musk and the doge team have found in just four weeks is beyond jaw dropping and the american public understands that. see , democrats keep saying things like oh, it's a constitutional crisis, but elon musk or donald trump, they bring the receipts every day and who thinks $40 million to research social change in uganda is a good idea when you have people suffering from wildfires in california? who thinks $21 million to

11:38 pm
fired for assaulting the employee at work. she was fired for lying about it, because they caught it on camera. liz: what's your reaction to that? >> federal workers have more protection than any other workers in the united states. that's why donald trump offered the buyout. that's why donald trump went after the probationary workers and let me tell you something. even if he meets his metrics he's still way less than bill clinton and he was champion for doing this. frankly elon musk and donald trump should get the presidential medal of freedom if they can deliver what they are talking about with doge and doge dividend. liz: ford o'connell you brought it tonight great to see you again. thanks for joining us. breaking news coming in at any moment president trump is about to deliver remarks at an investment summit in miami beach, florida. this conference with tech executives talk about a.i., global investment and much, much more. we will bring it to you live when the president takes the stage. now to this. >> i'm not in the news because i'm here. i'm in the news because the democratic party is here.
